I was a little intimidated to be among this group of very talented quilters and I didn’t want to disappoint them. Paper piecing worked well, each block ended up perfect! I’m ... |

It started when they needed a little propping up or cushioning in their strollers. When they were a little older they started sleeping with them and they never slept without them. She still kept making new pillowcases for them in fabrics that they loved. Now the tradition has come full circle and I have a new grandchild ... |

“Measure twice, cut once”…while measuring is extremely important, having the right cutting tool for the task is a must. It makes the job a lot easier. Having good, sharp cutting instruments will make all the difference in the world! Here are some of my favorite things! For starters, I love the Olfa Quick Change Rotary Cutter–the 45mm is the one I use most of the time. It is great for left or right handed quilters. I admit, I have a hard time ... |

Along with the other designers for Connecting Threads, I submit ideas for quilts or quilted projects for each new fabric collection we release. I had so much fun designing for Spooks and Spells by MaryJo Tuttle – the ideas just flowed! I was drawn to the color palette as seen in the sampler below… and the individual designs – especially the witch’s hats, ... |
