Two Hearts is project number seven in the Fast, Fun, and More Gifty book. There are 22 fun projects total, and all of them are quick and easy to make.
This is such a cute pattern. In the book the project is made in flannel but it would also look great in regular cotton fabric or wool. The applique can be hand stitched or machine stitched. I love hand stitching, so that is what I did. The finished mini quilt fits on a 6” stand, but it would look darling on a wall or a table as well.
Once upon a time, a couple of us were at Mari’s house for a craft night. Mari provided the Two Hearts pattern, wool, beads, and buttons to make these and told us to have at it. What a fun way to test a pattern! We went home with an almost finished project that night. They turned out great and would make wonderful gifts.
Joy’s has a modern look.
Love the pink in Mari’s.
I adore polka dot buttons and lots of beads.
You can’t go wrong with these. I bet you can’t make just one!
