Trim the Tree Pillow

I love snowmen, especially sassy ones! These cuties called to me as soon as I saw the Trim the Tree pattern. I am on an embroidery kick and these guys were fun to watch come to life.

The pattern called for mini pom-poms on the tree, but that definitely didn’t seem to have enough bling for me, so I tried buttons. This still was not the statement I was looking to make. I was walking by a coworker’s desk and, lo and behold, what did I see but little mini red jingle bells (these are on our sister site The Artist’s Club). The skies parted and Angels sang – Eureka! Exactly what I was looking for! Now not only is it a visual delight but an auditory one as well. There is nothing like the jingle of bells to get you in the Christmas spirit! Now I have my Merry Pillow, from a previous Gifty post, and my new Trim the Tree pillow; a good start to add to my Christmas decorations.

Your trim the tree pillow is adorable. I think the bells do give it just the right bling. I like the scalloped trim at the top also. Very very nice.

Did you get the embroidery pattern from an embroidery company or is this stamped on fabric and then embroideried by hand?
