Our First-Ever Calendar!

If you don’t already know, next year will be Connecting Threads‘ 20th anniversary. We’re pretty excited about that! To celebrate this milestone, we wanted to do something a little special. We wanted to make sure that whatever we did, we could share it with all of you, too! We were looking for something that was both aesthetically pleasing while still remaining useful. With everyone’s lives getting busier and busier, we figured a calendar would be just the ticket.

In June, a few of us here sat down and started to brainstorm. Throughout all of the years here, we’ve accumulated a truly beautiful collection of photographs. We knew we had a tough mission ahead of us; choosing only 12 images to represent some of our favorite quilts and collections over the years. I’ve been here just under two years now, so there is a lot of stuff that I’ve never seen. This made going through the archives of all of the photos a real treat. After lots of reminiscing and planning, we were eventually able to narrow our selection down to the 12 final images. We tried to put together the best selection that depicted Connecting Threads‘ different styles of fabric collections, the talent of our designers, enticing imagery, and a representation of what makes each month special.

The calendar is now available on our website (click here to check it out) for just $6.99. As an added convenience, we’ve compiled most of the patterns featured in the calendar onto one page. You can take a look here.

We’ve already started ordering some calendars for ourselves and other quilty friends. Some of our family members might just find them under the tree this year, too! Have you gotten yours yet?
