My new Maple Skies collection

Maple Skies is one of my favorite collections that I’ve designed to-date! I just love the colors and the movement in this collection — especially in the focal print. This group immediately makes me think of Fall, with the variety of colors reflective of the changing leaves in the season.

When I first started to design this collection, I was inspired by my first-ever collection, Birchtree Lane.  I wanted to create a similar feel but with Fall as my theme.  Although it’s just starting to become summer here in the Northwest, when I see this collection, it makes me excited for Fall’s return.  Who doesn’t like the beautiful colors, the beginning of the holiday season, the warmth of family and friends and the decadent treats that are abundant this time of year?!

It was really fun for me to see how our wonderful designers were inspired by this collection and the great designs they came up with!

I actually made the Easy Curves Table Runner; it was so simple to put together.  The funny thing is, at first I thought I’d give this as a gift, but after sewing it up, I decided I wanted to gift it to myself!

I really enjoy this collection, I hope you do too!

OMG Jenni, I fell in love with this fabric line as soon as it was featured in the magazine from CT’s. Now I have played with them in a build your kit on CT’s site, I’ve ordered a bunch of the collection, including a jelly roll and a charm pack along with the pieces to make a new throw for my Mother’s new couch. BTW I am using the pattern called Christmas Paws. these fabrics will be beautiful all year long, her new couch is the color mocha. can’t wait to see it finished.
