Grab-And-Go Wallet

Today’s project is the Grab-&-Go Wallet, designed by Mari Martin. This project is featured on page 46 in the Fast, Fun, and More Gifty book. It’s a great quick project for the holidays that is easy to make. Perfect for beginners and so simple to assemble. In fact, I was able to make two wallets in less than an hour.

Both wallets used only a few small 4″x6″ pieces of fabric, so it’s perfect for using up scraps. The wallets above used fabric from Shimmer 2 by Robert Kaufman Fabrics (left) and Les Fleurs from Cotton + Steel (right).

There a few special supplies needed for this project: 40 gauge clear plastic vinyl fabric for the clear pockets and Peltex two sided fusible. These supplies can be found at your local craft or quilt shop and make the final result look so polished!

I really love how cute these little wallets turned out! I plan to give a few of these away as gifts this year. The design is versatile enough to add embellishments and details for a personal touch; you can even alter the pattern to make a larger wallet with just a few adjustments.

Give them as a wallet or get creative and use them handmade gift card holder or a unique gift tag. There are so many great uses for this quick gifty project!
