Hi There~ I’m Stephanie Dunphy and although I have a blog, Rummage, mostly you’ll find me on Instagram. I’m @sadunphy.
I’m really enjoying seeing all of the great quick and fun Gifty Galore projects and I hope you are as well. My project is called Buttons and Bows.
Bitty bow tie blocks are set in a circular manner making a cute little table mat. Although doilies and buttons aren’t required, I couldn’t resist adding them from my vintage goodie stash. You can omit any embellishments or perhaps use yo yos and buttons or come up with your own idea.
Not included in the pattern are a couple of coasters. Just make a few extra bow ties and you’ll have very cute coasters in no time. Don’t need coasters? How about using them for votive candles.
Buttons and Bows isn’t just for Christmas. How about Boo Bow Ties for Halloween? Happy Hearts for your Valentine? Connecting Threads has lots of great fabrics to choose from so you can make your own one-of-a-kind creation. Mini quilts are so hot right now, too.
Thanks so much to Connecting Threads for allowing me to be part of such a clever program. Now go forth and sew. Have fun and get your holiday gift box filled with goodness!
This pattern can be purchased alone or can be found in the book Fast, Fun, & Gifty.
~Piecefully, Stephanie
