The Two-Colored Zip Pouch is a fun and easy project to make for a variety of people on your gift giving list. You can get a completely different look just by changing up the fabrics. This is a fun way to use some novelty fabrics, or you could piece one of the panels from scraps if you would like. (I think scrappy is always a good idea!!) Play around with different combinations and have fun!
If you aren’t comfortable with zipper installation, don’t let that stop you from attempting this project. The tabs on the ends of the zipper make the bag construction easier (in my opinion!) and gives you a nice, clean finish.
This pouch is versatile-perfect for holding art supplies, a hand sewing project, or a small knitting project. It could be used as a makeup bag, or sew up several to help keep you organized while you travel. The possibilities for use are endless!
You can get the download pattern or this project is also included in Fast, Fun, & Gifty book. You can find the rest of my download patterns here.
