4.19.2013I fell in love with these adorable Pinwheel Pincushions that look like miniature tuffets and now I can’t stop making them! They are so much fun to make and imagine in all different types of fabrics. Some of my friends and I bought the Pinwheel Pincushion kits and took them to our quilting retreat to make. You just need to supply the feet, muslin, button, and fabric.
This one was made by my friend Joy using charm squares from the Handmade from the Heart collection. I love the covered button that she made.
I made this one to give to MaryJo for her birthday using the American Celebration collection that she designed.
I also made this one for me. Everyone thinks it looks like a ladybug!
And this one for a hostess gift for a sewing friend that loves bright polka dots.
There is no stopping me now!
