The Season of Giving

The Oregon Humane Society recently put out a call for bandanas made from holiday fabric for the cats and pups at the shelter. We had some extra Winter Fun and Wrap It Up samples here in the office, so I spent a rainy Saturday afternoon making kitty sized Christmas bandanas. Gifty Placemats…peppermint style!

A Quick and Easy Project

Decisions Made…my holiday quilt part 4

Okay, time to play with layout. I have to think about this carefully, from these I have to build all the pinwheel blocks, and each one is different! They all have little triangles of the next block built into them so there is no going back. I didn't think of that when I started. There's a lot more to the Tilt-A-Whirl pattern than I ever realized.

Lulu’s Yoyos

I almost finished my Mom’s Christmas present. I just have the binding to go – unfortunately my machine decided to die just before I got the binding on. I’m also trying decide whether or not I should add some embellishments such as dragonfly or butterfly buttons above the flowers and maybe a ladybug on one of the flower leaves. What do you guys think?
