Bags, Bags, Bags!

In light of our March 2011 catalog, I sewed up some bags!  There were a couple of reasons I jumped at the opportunity to make the Market Bag in Homegrown – I love the fabric, I think it’s really fun.  It’s a really easy bag to make, and it has plenty of pockets all around the outside.  I showed my husband when I was done and even he likes it!  I cannot wait to get it home and use it.

Okay, so in one catalog I made three bags.  Hmmm, perhaps I am a bit of a bag lady.  I admit I love a bag that’s good looking with plenty of room, and lots of pockets.  The diaper bags I made in Zippee checks all those boxes. No one needs to know it’s a diaper bag.  Well, I am not telling.  There’s a pocket for my water bottle, cell phone, diary, keys, lip balm, glasses… you get the picture.  I can be organized with these bags, and I’ve got two so I can coordinate as well!

I got one of your bag patterns before Christmas and made the pattern for my friend who lives in CA. I can’t download the pic of the bag as my printer is misbehaving right now. I changed some of the pattern and put sides on it, and put a pocket on one of the sides (which she uses for her cell phone) and made it all in black and white fabrics and the flowers on the front are in red, which she loves. Her website is I loved the pattern and she loves her bag………
