This week I demonstrate using muslin as your base for foundation pi…. My personal favorite, Crazy Quilt blocks, work really well with the extra layer of fabric so it can hold all those heavy embellishments later. You can also use this method for strippy style quilt blocks. Both are excellent ways to use up scraps.

I’ve just been alerted that our network is having a site-wide issue with groups and email notifications. Two of our own members have reported issues, either with not receiving email notifications when they are supposed to, or receiving email notifications when they’re not supposed to.
The network is working on the problem, but they are behind and have not given me a time estimated. I’ll keep you posted.
Week 2’s tutorial is live – this is the meat and potatoes of this month’s technique. It’s the basics (including video) on how to paper piece. Also, have you wondered what the differences between all the different papers that can be used? I made a video to show you the differences, so you can decide for yourself.
