Stephanie Dunphy (Loft Creations) is one of my favorite people and designers. She is just a fabulous human being and I count her among the amazing women I know. Over the years she has become a part of our Connecting Threads family. I love her aesthetic and vintage vibe.

My other passion lately has been 30’s reproduction fabric quilts. (I have a whole Pinterest board filled with them.) So when the opportunity came to make Stephanie’s Wringer Washer Pattern using our new Line Dried fabrics. I jumped at the chance.

Ok, there is a small warning. There are A LOT more squares than you first initially think. But it does go together fairly quickly. It takes a little bit of organization for the small “wringers” to make sure cutting enough squares of each color and which background goes with which “wringer.”

This is also a great little quilt to practice matching corners and its small size is great for practicing quilting. The finished size is only 36″ square so you should be able to put the top together in a day or weekend depending on how quickly you sew or if you care if you eat, sleep, shower, etc. It make a perfect size for a small baby quilt or fun wall hanging.
