WIP Wednesday – Let Freedom Ring

So I just realized that next weekend is the Fourth of July weekend, it’s possible I’m running a little behind on decorating… On the other hand I could just be really early for next year! I’m sadly lacking in Independence Day Decor and have been shuffling the Let Freedom Ring Pattern around in my to-do pile for ever.

When I saw the Hometown Summer collection, it all came together for me! I actually got started right away and cut everything out plus finished my center block, which I’m very happy with.

Then of course I got busy on other projects for work that had imminent deadlines and have now just been shifting around the pattern and all the pieces of the table runner.

Does it count that my toes are decorated for the holiday even if my house isn’t?

Here’s hoping I can show the finished project in time to decorate for next year!

Cute toes and toenails! I like the idea being done a year ahead of the next Fourth of July…that sounds so efficient!

Yay, efficient sounds lots better than procrastination!

Oh, I love your great feet! Mine used to be pretty, then they were pretty bad, and now I’m pleased with them but don’t show them – no sandals for me. I love your wall hanging (you probably thought it was a table runner) but I have this wall that will just be so happy dressed up. I think I’m spending some time in the sewing room this long weekend!

If you get your toes painted cute no one looks at your feet :) See my distraction worked.

I think your toes will count for this year as long as we see the finished decoration for next year. Happy Fourth of July, Teri!

This weekend is a good time to take off from the sewing machine. I agree, paint the toes and head to the beach.
