THIS CONTEST IS NOW OVER
I made a very practical and cute camera strap for my DSLR made out of
our Sip of Summer sampler. My 6 month old daughter Ella wanted to sew
too! Even though I gave her something in her hand to play with, she kept
grabbing my charm squares! Sewing this project took under an hour and I
had most of my sampler left over. I first sewed the charm squares
together, then ironed on fusible fleece. After that I quilted swirly
lines though it, and before I knew it I was done! It was very easy and
fun, and now when I’m taking photos the strap will be both functional
and cool. I found the pattern off moda’s bakeshop website here.
As part of our ‘summer of samplers’ one lucky commenter can win the Sip
sampler featured in this post. Simply leave a comment by 07/27/10,
and I will draw the name of one lucky winner using a random number
generator. Good luck!
