Win this bright fat quarter sampler!

THIS CONTEST IS NOW OVER

Have you noticed that we’ve added a lot more patterns to our web site? Our New Patterns category is bursting at the seams with great stuff that came out at Spring Quilt Market. When I saw the “Coming Soon” pattern, I knew it would make the perfect gift for my cousin who is having a baby boy in October. I grabbed our Bright Fat Quarter Sampler and started sewing! The sampler is really perfect for this pattern because it calls for seven fat quarters, one of which is white. I just put the purple fat quarter away in my stash and used the rest along with some of our Solid Taupe for sashing.

The pattern was definitely quick and easy. Can you believe that I’m already done, and the baby won’t be born for two more months? That is a definite first for me! I even remembered to put my tag on the back…

You can win the FQ sampler I used in this project by leaving a comment to this post. I’ll draw one random winner next Monday. Happy quilting!

EDIT: Wow, what a huge response! Thanks for all the nice comments. I’ll announce the winner tomorrow, but a lot of you have asked about where I get the custom ribbon label. I got mine printed at Namemaker.com. It’s just a spool of ribbon with my custom text printed, and I fuse it to the back and then tuck the edges in the hand binding.
