The Kimono Robe and Sleep Well pajamas

Summer is almost here, and with summer, we all need some lighter loungewear to use around the house. If you’re the type of person who has DIY running through their veins (join the club!), you might want to take a look at these awesome patterns. When it comes to pajamas, I’ve all but given up on trying to find a pre-made pair that will fit me. I’m 5’10″ tall, and let me tell you, that makes finding a set of pajamas nearly impossible. I was fortunate enough to have been chosen to model the beautiful kimono robe and the Sleep Well pajamas at our latest photo shoot. Talk about comfort!

The kimono was so light and airy, I would have worn it all day if they had let me. Despite being a lighterweight fabric, if you’re wearing a lined garment like this, Matsuri will keep you nice and warm.

And now on to my favorite part of the day…the Sleep Well pajamas. I will say that the pajama bottoms had to be lengthened from what they call for in the pattern, but that’s the beauty of DIY, right? I love this pajama set so much! The top is absolutely beautiful, and the bottoms were so soft. If you need a quick gift for someone, these patterns are a great idea. Or hey, Mother’s Day is coming up — what’s better than spending the day lounging in homemade pajamas?! My mom’s birthday is on Monday, and since she doesn’t take enough time out for herself, I am giving her both of these great items to encourage her to spend some time relaxing. Trust me, once you’re in these guys, you’re relaxation comes a lot easier. Ha!

Matsuri is such a soft and wearable fabric that I have been telling everyone they need to stock up. I hope you like these patterns as much as I do! I especially love the free pricetag on the kimono pattern — you can’t beat that!

Very lucky Mom! If I only loved to sew clothes I’ve had jammies just like these beauties. It’s best I don’t otherwise I’d be in them all day and never put on regular clothes! What a pretty model you are.

These look great and so do the fabrics. I have the charm squares. One kind of strange question. Did you feel that the pants were too “see through” if they were worn as PJ’s? From my charms I can’t decide if I would feel too self conscience or not.

Wow! The kimono and pjs, and the beautiful Matsuri line complement each other so perfectly. I need to lock myself into my sewing room and get busy!

Hi Ginger, I was a little worried about the pajama pants being too see through as well. Once I put them on, I checked from every angle and nothing showed through. :) I hope this helps!
