Hi! My name is Cindy from Quilt Doodle Designs. I am known for my whimsical appliqué designs. I am doodling all of the time! I was so thrilled to design ‘Little Miss Molly’ for the ‘Fast, Fun, and More Gifty’ Book by Connecting Threads. When developing this project I knew I wanted to make something for all of the dog lovers out there.  If you have followed me on my Quilt Doodle Blog you certainly know that I love my dogs, Wilson and Maddie. My project, Little Miss Molly was actually inspired by my sister’s miniature Yorkie, Molly. She was tiny and a sweet little girl. While sketching out this project I thought Molly would be adorable peeking out of a tea cup. She was that tiny!

What I really love about this pattern is that you can switch up the fabric colors for the puppy to look like your furry little friend. I’ve done this design up with a couple of different colors and it’s adorable every time!  Have fun and check out Connecting Threads fabric lines. There are so many wonderful fabrics to choose from. You can make Miss Molly with Connecting Threads ‘Acorn Park’  or dress it up with Christmas fabrics such as ‘Days of Christmas’. Short on time? Make one for a wall hanging or mini quilt. Or make a set of 4 for a set of placemats. It’s a quick and easy project and would make a wonderful gift!

I hope that you have fun and enjoy making ‘Little Miss Molly’. I have been enjoying the patterns in ‘Fast, Fun, and More Gifty’ and have actually gotten a head start on some of my Christmas Gifts. So let’s have some quilty fun and do some projects to give this Christmas.

Happy Quilting!

Cindy

So cute. I have a Cockapoo and could easily see making it personalized with our own dog.

So cute and fun. I was just looking at some Halloween blocks in a book and wondering it I would ever make one, now I know how to spice it up. I have had so much fun making the Halloween Web center piece after I bought the kit. My 91 year old mother love it so much for a gift that she it making all my sister and brothers one. Thanks for all the cute ideas and patterns.
