So long, 2015!
12.30.2015

The holidays are upon us, and with them, feelings of happiness and glee fill the air here at Connecting Threads.

This year, however, the holidays also bring a bit of sadness for me. For five years, I have been the “marketing person” at CT, and it is with a heavy heart that I announce my upcoming departure from this amazing, fabulous, and fun company. I have recently accepted a position closer to home, and as 2015 comes to an end, so will my time here.

I have said to friends and family over and over again that I have the best job in the world, and it’s true! Not only do I get to work with an amazing team – each of whom I consider an extension of my family – I am surrounded by a craft that brings so much joy to so many people. What’s more, I have had the privilege to interact with all of you! As our little company has grown over the years, I have gotten to see first-hand how much good our customers bring to the world. I can honestly say without hesitation that quilters are my favorite people.

Thank you, friends of Connecting Threads, for all of the love and support that you’ve shown our company over the years. Thank you also to my team here at CT, the brand director (and one of my very best friends) Teri, and our CEO, Matt, for providing me with such a beautiful and loving place to work. I will miss you all.

Signing off for the last time,

Alisha

      Stephanie,

It has been such a joy getting to know you and Dave over the years. Your style and sense of humor bring so much light to my world, and I know we will stay in touch over Instagram if nothing else. Much love to you!

      Nancy,

Thank you so much for your well wishes. What you say is very, very true. Our customers are the reason that we come to work every day, and there is nothing we value more than the support that you all show us. Happy New Year!

I’m 70 years old so I can speak from experience. Change is often hard and somewhat sad, but always rewarding. I wish you the very best. And since we are at the end of the year, I will make this the last time I ask if anyone has Mari’s pattern, The Z’s Have It, to share. I just waited too long to order it (another witness to old age); I never get in a hurry anymore.lol

can someone please tell me what size is a sampler. It shows a stack but doesn’t show
the size of the fabric. I hope no one thinks I’m dumb but I sure feel it. Lol

If you are on our website and click on a sampler you are interested in it will tell you the number of fabrics in the sampler underneath the name. It should also list the cuts the sampler comes in below and each cut should have the size next to the part number. Our FQs should be approx. 18″ x 22″, our stacks are 10″ square, our strips are 2-1/2″ x width of fabric, and our charms are 5″ square. Hope that helps answer your question!
