Snow Flakes Mini Runner

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Snow Flakes Mini Runner! It is absolutely adorable. First, of course, I love snowmen; second, it’s mini– who doesn’t love mini?; and third, it was quick and easy. What a trifecta. This was super simple to make, no matching and the embroidery is primitive so it shouldn’t be perfect. It was fun to make all the different expressions with embroidery and different size and type of buttons and snaps for the eyes and mouths. No two flakes are the same! I made it in our Winter’s Evening colIection using reds and greens but it would be really cute in blues to give it a more wintery versus Christmasy look. I was a little worried my sample might not come back because several people in my department were eyeing it. It would actually make a great gift that you could whip up in a hurry but I won’t be giving mine away! My house is like the Hotel California for snowmen: they check in but can never leave. LOL!

Teri this is fantastic! I also love my snowmen and my glass showcase can prove it. I never put all mine away either. Thanks for the ideas that you made start to float around in my head.

I too saw several staff wanting your sample…good thing you took it home to safety! I love the facial expressions. They do look like Snow Flakes. Good job!

Love it, Teri! I’m in cahoots with Tyler to sneak this in as a trade for a Star Wars toy… mwahaha!

I bought the kit and made the mini runner. It came out so cute that I made a pumpkin one with no faces. I added a strip on top and added wool appliqués stems and embroidered Happy Fall and lines on the pumpkins.

Awesome Teri. And so very YOU! I can see it now you sitting there surrounded with snowmen. It’s like you have a giant one in your office looking over your shoulder. (Pssst she does, he’s about 8ft tall, but very happy) Embrace the madness! (I embrace chocolate)
