Quick Projects for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, but don’t worry I have come up with a few ways to use your stash along with a quick download pattern to make Valentine’s Day extra special.  These projects can be completed in a day or two.

Sew up Jo-Lydia’s Attic’s Candy Hearts in pastels to look message hearts.  They will look so cute on your table.  The heart blocks are foundation-paper-pieced so your blocks will be perfect.

If that seems a bit too ambitious for you, Nancy Rink’s Valentine Table Runner with adorable fusible applique might be just the project you are looking for.  This project should go together in no time flat.

Looking to cuddle this Valentine’s then Robin Phillip’s Studio’s Sweetheart Lace Pillow may just be the date you are looking for.  This pillow has romance to share.
If you are looking for some fun, cute gifts to give to your quilt group, I think I found a couple of download project that fit the bill.

Cotton Way’s Soothing Hot/Cold Rice Bags would be a lovely gift for your quilting friends to know you care. There are 4 different sizes to choose from, so choose the size that fits what you have in your stash.

Craftapple Pincushions will be the perfect gift for your sewing friends with a sweet tooth.  Wouldn’t it be fun to walk into your quilt group with a cupcake box filled with these?  There are directions for sizes of “treats” from cupcakes to chocolates.
So spread the love next week with these great projects.

That lacey pillow would look nice with some vintage lace pieces, doilies or fabric from a loved ones wedding dress. Wouldn’t that be a nice gift!
