This contest is now closed. Thank you to all who participated! To find out who won, click here: WINNERS

Here at Connecting Threads, we love the holiday season! Our offices are decorated with shiny ornmanents, garland, and twinkling lights, and everyone’s faces are smiling because Christmas is right around the corner.

One thing is certain, the Connecting Threads team is in the spirit of giving. We want to make someone’s Christmas extra special this year, so we have partnered up with Arrow Cabinets and we’re giving away a beautiful Sewnatra cabinet in your choice of White or Black!

Besides being a cute cabinet, the Sewnatra offers most of the features that the larger cabinets have, but in a convenient compact size. When the cabinet is closed, the shuttered door gives the cabinet a cottage look that doubles as a beautiful piece of home furniture. When opened, the cabinet offers ample sewing space and great storage. We love this piece!

Regularly priced at $479.99, and on sale right now for $409.99, the Sewnatra is our biggest giveaway prize of the year. Now, as I mentioned above, the CT team are fully immersed in the Christmas spirit, and we want to make sure that everyone has a chance to win. Unfortunately, the Sewnatra cabinet can only be shipped to folks in the contiguous United States, so Connecting Threads is also offering two $20 gift cards to residents of the United States and Canada.

To be entered to win, all you need to do is leave us a comment below telling us one of your quilting goals for the new year, and whether you would like to win the cabinet in a Black or White finish. We will pick our winners on Monday, December 24th – just in time for Christmas!

Rules: One entry per person. No purchase necessary. The cabinet giveaway applies only to residents of the contiguous US. The gift card giveaway applies only to residents of the US and Canada. Comments must be made before 11:59pm on Sunday, December 23rd. We will select our winners on Monday, December 24th and announce them shortly thereafter. Comments MUST be made on this blog post to be counted. Comments made on other blog entries will not be included for consideration. Comments placed on our Facebook page are valid and will be considered. Winners will be selected randomly. You must meet the comment criteria to win. Good luck!

I plan to just do more quilting to get better. I’m still a beginner so I just need to do more. I also want to get better with doing triangles.

  2. Melissa Smith - December 18, 2012

I am excited to quilt up the Bookish fabric I just got into a queen quilt for my own bed in 2013. Also, hoping to make a couple more eye spies for the kids.

I have two goals (there’s always one in every crowd who is a nonconformist – LOL)…. I have an embroidery/crazy quilt to finish for my daughter-in-law. Two more embroidery purses to make for it then start on all the blocks. I’m also planning to make several small lighthouse art quilts. This cabinet is the perfect size for me as we have downsized our space and small is beautiful. I’d love it in white!
Thanks for such a great giveaway. Merry Chirstmaws.

The black cabinet would go great in that room and help me get more organized in the process!!! Thanks!!!

  49. Beverly Hirsch - December 18, 2012

My number one NY Eve resolution this year is to organize the sewing room I have set up in my new home which is a huge downsize from my previous one. I need do weed out and give away many things, and find ways to neatly fit in what I keep. It’s so difficult for me, and extremely time consuming. In the meantime I have very little space to do my quiltmaking in. I feel sure that a Sewnatra cabinet would give me a big boost in that direction, and to my sense of loss.

  50. Crystal Adame - December 18, 2012

  65. Kelly Shrout - December 18, 2012

After 20 years of marriage, raising a son and putting ourselves through college, my husband and I have purchased our home. While beautiful, it needs some TLC. One of the selling points of this house was the bonus room over the garage which is planned to become my sewing room (I think my husband is sick of finding thread in the bed, on the counch in the dog bed…). The sewing room is scheduled to be renovated in March! We have never had a space of our own that we could do what we wanted and I have big plans for making and hanging quilts and using the quilts as decor not just as a utility.

After almost 15 years of marriage, my husband left me and my son. We couldn’t afford to stay in the house we were in and had to relocate to a much smaller house. I lost my sewing room due to the size of our new home. Although my son and I try to share what little space we have, a cabinet like this would help me organize and keep my side of the spare room alot more organized.

  90. Terry McCloskey - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this cabinet in Black! It would match my other items with my APQS quilting machine. I am going to be working on some fun things for a friend of my daughters. She is an artist who paints and has painted me a mountain scene that I wanted and now I will be quilting her something special so she can frame it for her living room. This would be the perfect cabinet to get me organized for the new year!

  99. Joanne Friedrick - December 18, 2012

My goal is to make a dent in all the fabric I’ve collected over the past several years. Most of my sewing is for items that we sell at our church fair. It would be great to create something really special this year and that beautiful white cabinet would make the process that much easier by helping me get organized. Thanks for this great offer!

  100. Pat - December 18, 2012

One of my quilting goals for the new year is to finish my UFOs and WIPs and to use my stash. I have been making some progress in this goal this year and have more to do. I have recently been able set up a new sewing room in my empty nest and a new sewing cabinet would be very helpful. I like white Sewnatra cabinet as my room is small and I have painted it white and bright. Thanks for the chance to win … :) Pat

  101. Gretchen Kohls - December 18, 2012

After many years of not finishing projects because I was too busy, I found quilting again. My serger sits on a t.v.tray (unstable you say?), and my sewing machine is on my kitchen table. I have room enough in my bedroom for a cabinet. This would solve myriad problems! I love to make quilts and give them to folks who need a little comfort in their lives. My goal is to do more of this, and it sure would be easier with a centralized sewing place! Merry Christmas!

  102. Diana Diana - December 18, 2012

My biggest goal is to just get up to the sewing room & quilt!! That’s because I have so many projects I want to work on: big kid quilts for my grands, Christmas quilts for my 3 kids & spouses, a wedding table topper for a niece’s wedding in October, a sailboat retirement quilt for my husband for November. I could go on & on. So the goal is: Just do it!

  103. ginger - December 18, 2012

I have two big goals for this year. The first is to finish a queen sized Log Cabin quilt I’ve been working on for my Mom for what seems like forever. The second is why I’d really love to win the sewing cabinet in white – I want to get my sewing room organized! And I think the cabinet will really help.

  104. Connie Stein - December 18, 2012

Like most people who have posted, I need to get my sewing room organized so I can finish up those UFOs BEFORE starting all of the new projects that caught my eye this year.

  105. Elizabeth "Libby" Harris - December 18, 2012

would love the white..plan on sewing more charity projects this year.

  106. Marlene Lorentz - December 18, 2012

Would love to win this cabinet in white. Organization is essential in a small sewing room and it would greatly enhance my space.

  107. Carol Ann Hinton - December 18, 2012

THAT would look great at the mountain house sewing room. Hope I win!

  108. Cyndy Scott - December 18, 2012

Thank you for the chance to win this cabinet. My choice is white. I am new at quilting and my goal is to continue learning wonderful techniques of quilting from wonderful quilters and to finish some projects I have going right now for family and friends. This cabinet would make it all a lot easier. Thanks again

  109. Diane Sanders - December 18, 2012

I love the way the cabinet looks when it is closed and would be a wonderful place to quilt and keep my quilting things organized. My “craft” room has been given to my granddaughter for her bedroom and the white cabinet would help me find a home for some of my quilting things.

  110. Mary S - December 18, 2012

My biggest goal is to make the gifts for family that have been waiting in the wings for several years. White would be my choice since my stash is in a white cabinet and needs a companion.

  111. Ellen Auerbach - December 18, 2012

I intend to finish all the table runners I started, and make some new quilts for my 6 grandkids!
The black cabinet will look amazing in my under-renovation office/sewing room!

  113. Diana - December 18, 2012

I am working with my daughter, 13, over Christmas break to show her how to piece together all her strip-piecing blocks that she learned how to make over the summer. She is a budding sewer. This cabinet in white would be a wonderful enhancement to the sewing area to accommodate the both of us.

  114. Alice Bauer - December 18, 2012

I’d love to win this beautiful sewing cabinet in white to give to my daughter who definately needs help in organizing her sewing/quilting supplies. My goal, like others for the coming year, is to finish all my UFOs especially the baby quilt for our new grandchild due in February & the family tree wall hanging project I bought from you earlier this year.

  115. Sue Whittier - December 18, 2012

We all need more space and this cabinet looks wonderful. Nice way to organize and have items at our reach. This past year I have become more interested in making pillow cases and quilts for charitable organizations. A local quilt shop donated to the Barbara Bush cancer center in Maine. If I win this cabinet I would like to find a center who could use it . A place where girls or boys would get enjoyment using it and seeing them create something.
The past events make us think even more how fortunate we are. Our prayers are with Newtown CT.

  116. Becky Rehwalt - December 18, 2012

This cabinet would be a great addition to my sewing space and it would help me reach one of my goals for the new year…to get my sewing area organized! I would love to win this cabinet and would prefer the white finish.
Happy holidays and thank you for this great giveaway opportunity!

  117. Deborah Cassidy - December 18, 2012

Oh, my such a delightful gift from Connecting Threads! Thanks for this opportunity to win- I just love the white cabinet. Goals for 2013 are to work on several quilt kits from CT’s and also to make a jack-o-lantern table runner as well as try my hand at the Christmas Ornament bargello table runner. Thank you.

  118. Christine G. - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to challenge myself to tackle something with a little more difficulty than I have done in the past. The white Sewnatra cabinet by Arrow would be a great tool to keep me organized and have all of my supplies in one location! Thanks for this giveaway!

  119. Diana Jacobs - December 18, 2012

I live in a 12′ wide mobile home… not much room for my own space for sewning… would love to win a cabinet to call my “quilting space”… white would be my color of choice… but either color would be wonderful… Thanks for your time… and Merry Christmas… Have a Wonderful New Year!!!

  120. Catherine Myer - December 18, 2012

  121. Doreen Huston - December 18, 2012

I would love to win a white cabinet but because I am in Canada I guess I would prefer my gift certificates in white. I am really hoping to just be able to get into my quilting big time in 2013 as my husband is finally re-re-retiring at the end of January so we won’t be under such a tight schedule to do other things. Wish me luck! Doreen

  122. Cindy Radtke - December 18, 2012

If I am so fortunate as to win this beautiful cabinet, I would love to have it in white! As for my sewing goals for the new year. I have quite a few quilt tops to get quilted, some UFO’s to finish up so they can be quilted as well. Then to send them all off to find new homes with someone who needs a warm quilt to snuggle in. Most of my finished quilts go to a charity of one kind or another. If I can help one person feel loved and stay warm in the process, then I have accomplished my goal. Thank you CT for another great give away. You are an awesome company

  123. Dawny Hanson - December 18, 2012

So my top priority is to finish my son’s quilt that i had started and gave to him partially finished for his graduation present 3 years ago, i have actually pulled it out of the closet and started sewing some of the squares so i have given myself until the end of February to finish this project because my youngest son is graduating in June 2013 and his comment to me was well mom do i have to wait till Parker graduates (who is actually a Senior) boy did I feel terrible so it will get done in time no matter what!!! I need to get organized and finish one project before i start the next. This cabinet would really help the situation and i have white other little wooded shelving that i have purchased so I would like the white finish PLEASE. Thank you and Merry Christmas to all!!!:)

Would love the cabinet in black. My goal for 2013 is to complete all these projects started and to get a jump start on Christmas next year.

  125. lisa recklies - December 18, 2012

Now that I am once again a stay at home home I plan to use the spare time to catch up on all my creative hobbies. Quilting is like painting with material. It is unique and beautiful and each finished project becomes a stand alone heirloom. A white cabinet would give me space to stay organised while I create memories for my three beautiful daughters. I am particularly excited to attempt transferring photographs onto material and incorporate real memories into each design

  126. Marilyn Edmunds - December 18, 2012

I have collected fabric for sewing for many years. 2013 is the year when I retire and move to be closer to my Grandchildren. I am so excited about all the wonderful things that I want to sew and share that I can hardly wait to get up I the morning. In my new home I am going to have a sewing room so I can spread out my current project. I hope to get all my little grandkids excited about learning to sew also so they can make beautiful things for others.

  127. Mary Eason - December 18, 2012

As usual, my goal for next year is to finish all those UFO’s that I have sitting around as well as make the Christmas gifts that I planned to give this year, but didn’t get started on time! The cabinet is lovely in both colors, but white probably fits best in my home. Thanks for the chance to win it!

  131. Robin Castor - December 18, 2012

  133. Catherine Myer - December 18, 2012

  134. Karen Humphrey - December 18, 2012

I want to start a project that I have had on the drawing board for sometime–the Easter vestments for Church. The largest will be the Altar super frontal, and hangings, then the clergy chasuble and stole, and the burse and veil. This project will take awhile so I want to do a little every day so that it can be accomplished in time for Easter day.

  135. Bev Robie - December 18, 2012

My first project in 2013 will be to complete a quilt for my nephew and his fiancee who are getting married June 22nd.
A white cabinet would fit in nicely in my sewing room.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  136. Karen Howe - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to finish up some UFOs. And to do that, I need to be able to locate them and the missing parts that go with them! So organizing first is a must…a gorgeous white Sewnatra would do wonders to help me with that!

  137. Judy - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish quilting any thing that is unfinished by the end of the year and start projects with some of the new fabric I have purchased recently. This sewing cabinet would be fabulous to win in black or white. My cutting table and shelves in my sewing room are all white so the contrast of a black sewing cabinet might be nice.

  138. Carolyn - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to make a twin size quilt. I’m a beginner quilter in my old age and am loving the learning process for making quilts. I’d love the Sewnatra cabinet to store all the goodies that I’ve already acquired while learning to quilt.

  139. Phyllis Jacobs - December 18, 2012

I’ve been quilting for about 20 years and have a number of finished tops that need to be quilted. My goal for the new year is to make that pile smaller. Thanks for the opportunity to be part of this fantastic give away.

  140. Cathy Bremer - December 18, 2012

  141. Gloria - December 18, 2012

  142. Carolyn - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to make a twin size quilt. I’m a beginner quilter in my old age and am loving the learning process for making quilts. I’d love the white Sewnatra cabinet to store all the goodies that I’ve already acquired while learning to quilt.

  143. Ann H - December 18, 2012

My goal is to make 3 quilts each year for someone who doesn’t want it, but needs it. I just finished one for a family that when I heard about them felt inspired to make them a quilt. It felt great to focus on someone I haven’t even met and do a random act of kindness for a person who didn’t expect it. I’m looking forward to January and getting started on my goal and having a compact cabinet would be very helpful in my limited sewing space.

  144. Diana Nelson - December 18, 2012

Having a sewing cabinet like this sure would help with saving space in my sewing space. I love to be organized and this is a sure fire way to get things organized. I’d love the white one if I were to win.

  145. Carole Belair - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013, is to create and make my own quilt. From the design to the quilting. I will need the full 12 months to succeed!!! I will even named it Connecting Threads!!!!! White would be my preference for the cabinet.

  146. Jane - December 18, 2012

I love to quilt and my grandkids, all eight of them have made things with me for their teachers and friends. One of the last projects was a quilt for their new cousins
so each one of them, ( I did have the youngest (3) sitting on my knee for this) made a square out of scraps that I had cut up for them and then when they each made a square, some of them made more than one, I put their name on their square, then framed the squares and finished it into this beautiful quilt that they are presenting to their newest cousin soon. No wonder nana cannot finish a lot of her things because the kids loved to get in there with me and made some neat little gifts.

  147. Sandi Miller - December 18, 2012

I have too many projects waiting for me and in 2013 my goal is to complete more than I start. I retired from a non profit/all volunteer org. putting on an annual quilt show(after 18 yrs) to be able to have more time to acutally participate in the hobby-art-passion of quilting.

  148. Sheryl C. - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 would be to utilize all the fabric that I have to create wonderful quilts to share. Seeing the faces of recipients is one of the best parts of Quilting. A white Sewnatra would be a great new addition to the sewing room.
Thanks for your generosity for 2013

  149. Karen Corbett - December 18, 2012

I would like to finish my many UFO’s and be able to share sewing with some friends who do not currently sew. I love to make things to give away, and enjoy working with my sewing guild chapter to make things for charity. I would love the white cabinet if I won. Thanks and blessings to all this Christmas Season.

  150. Linda B in MI - December 18, 2012

My husband and I are going to be living in a RV when he retires later next year. I need somewhere to store my stuff and a place to sew that does not take up alot of space…This cabinet would be perfect!

  151. Cari - December 18, 2012

My two biggest goals this next year is to finish projects started last year. And number two, make projects for my two new grand babies that were born 11 days apart in November. So many fun baby projects to work on. Now in duplicate!
I would like the white cabinet.

  152. Jean Denton - December 18, 2012

I have only been quilting for about 9 months and can already see that my need for storage and organization must be accomplished soon very soon. This is not a hobby I want to push in the corner. My work whether beginner or advance will live on forever and will be treasured by my family. I know because I have treasurers in my closet from three generations. I would prefer white.

  153. Brenda Berry - December 18, 2012

DROOL! How lovely this would be in a white finish to help me get organized enough to find my sewing machine under my fabric stash! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  154. Catherine Rankin - December 18, 2012

I just received a longarm quilting machine from my wonderful husband. My goal for 2013 is to learn how to use it and quilt my own first quilt. Maybe my UFO’s will have to wait a little bit longer.

  155. Cleone - December 18, 2012

I will be working hard on my free motion quilting. Also my goal in 2013 is to double the amount of quilts I’ve made this year and to donate one to a cancer child. So please pick me!

  156. Carol Evans - December 18, 2012

The beautiful sewing cabinet in white would fit perfectly in my sewing room and help me reach my goal of piecing and quilting several baby quilts for our local Pregnancy Support Center. Quilts are given to clients as add incentives to attend parenting classes, etc. to earn items for their newborns.

  157. LaVonne Beach - December 18, 2012

I too would love to win the cabinent in black. I currently use an old student desk handed down from my daughter. Not much room for my sewing machine and quilting projects. My goal for 2013 is to finish the Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt I am working on and to finish the two hand applique quilts I have started. Soo many cool patterns out there and work just gets in the way!

  158. Cheryl Pasquariello - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to learn how to free motion quilt on my home sewing machine. I just went to a trunk show/lecture by a very well known quilt teacher and she said that a good cabinet where your machine sits level with the surface is a must. I would love to have the white Sewnatra cabinet to help me achieve my goal!

  159. Phyllis Schneider - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to make a cozy quilt for a dear friends daughter who is battling breast cancer for the third time, I want her to have something to cuddle in during her cemo treatments and hopefully her recovery.

  161. Nancy DuBose - December 18, 2012

I would love to have a white cabinet like this. Unfortunatly, I can’t afford it. My husband has leukemia, and has been very sick. He has had 42 units of blood since aug. I have to stay with him and need something to do. I love to sew, but have not quilted much. My mother always made the most beautiful quilts, and I would like to follow her footsteps. Thank you so much, I love your fabric.

  162. Cynthia Zeiders - December 18, 2012

Afte a tornado blew my home and quilting studio into the sky and trees,I’ve not gotten my self organised. It seems disjointed with my machine sitting on kindly donated furniture. As an art quilter there a great many odds n ends to “quiltly” organise and this wonderful table would really serve this purpose!
Connecting Threads E-mails always send me off into the creative zone of: “OH! I should try that,SLAM ! I could add, JUMP out of my comfort zone and head to my stash..! Thank you, Cindy Z

Merry Christmas… Thanks for the opportunity to win a cabinet…

  172. Hazel Molin - December 18, 2012

I need to reorganize my sewing room so I can get back to quilting and sewing again. My sewing room is very small and I have an old desk that I use as a sewing table. I have stacks of fabric that need to be organized into the cupboard. It gets worse at this time of year as I stash Christmas presents into the room and make it off limits to the rest of the family. A new sewing table would just help me get started!

  173. Lee Ann Marsh - December 18, 2012

My resolution for 2013 is to organize my sewing room. It is a very small space and is cluttered. My sewing machine is on a computer desk with my embroidery machine behind me on another L shaped desk, also piles all around me of material and threads. This would help contain my.

  174. Janet Crossman - December 18, 2012

Oops I forgot I need a white cabinet.

  180. Nancy Shattuck - December 18, 2012

My 2013 personal challenge is to become a ‘Fibro Artist’. I have Fibromyalgia, which severly limits my ability to quilt. I want to make a quilt(s) that in some way is a tribute to those of us who suffer with chronic pain and have to find work-arounds to continue to enjoy our love of quilting. My sewing space itself is a challenge this year, because my son-in-law got hit by the resession, losing everything. I now have their family of 6 living with me. I moved into my basement to make room. The white Sewnatra cabinet would be a big help towards making my tiny space more user-friendly. Thanks for the opportunity.

  181. Geni Pickens - December 18, 2012

I plan on making 5-8 quilts for Christmas 2013 and finishing 2 unfinished quilts. I would love to win the White cabinet to keep essentials close at hand.

  182. Deborah Mock - December 18, 2012

I love the look of this sewing cabinet. I’ve moved to a smaller space and have no room for a large sewing table–this one is just the right size! I haven’t been working on any projects due to the space constraints for a large folding table. I would like to get back into my quilting–finish all UFO in 2013 so that I can tackle some of the newer projects available. This cabinet would fit perfectly and give me the space to work on the UFO. I love the black cabinet. Thank you for this opportunity! Happy holidays to all!

I have so many other plans to create quilts for both of my wonderful daughters and gifts for loved ones in my family. I am currently teaching my self to free motion quilt on my home machine and am excited to try my new skill this coming year! This cabinet would be wonderful as right now my sewing room is my dining room as well! It would be wonderful to have a white cabinet to leave my sewing machine in all the time instead of having to put it away every evening when I am done with it so we can eat off of our table. Thank you!

  214. Gayle McDuffa - December 18, 2012

I love to sew and need a way to organize my sewing and keep it handy. My four nieces and newphews love to watch sew and since they live with me know we have to move the sewing into a larger area so they can be with me while I sew.

  215. Deb Barker - December 18, 2012

My 2013 quilting goal is to make a baby quilt for my friend. She will be having a baby girl in April.

I would love a white cabinet. My quilting goal is to learn how. I am semi-retired now, and have gone back to sewing after many years. I am loving it. Quilting is one of the things i want to learn about. My grandma was a wonderful quilter.

My goal for 2013 is to make a king size quilt for my bed, and to finish my UFO’s.

  221. Maurine Monson - December 18, 2012

I would love the black, as I do not have a “sewing room”. I sew in my dining area on a banquet table. So this cabinet would work out great to “Hide” my sewing machine once in a while.

  222. Bethany - December 18, 2012

My goal is to get caught up on my kids’ baby quilts. I have 3 to do! And I would love the cabinet in the white finish. Thanks for the giveaway! Merry Christmas ! :)

  223. Patricia Crabtree - December 18, 2012

I would love to have one in white, my sewing room is very small and this would work great! I joined a quilting group this year and we make lap quilts for veterans and various other charities, I’m loving it, it feels so good to help others. Merry Christmas to all.

  224. Nancy Noah - December 18, 2012

My plans for 2013 is to finish some of the UFOs I have. Of course I will start new projects, but I plan on finishing them so they are not UFOs. This is a great looking cabinet. I would choose the white one.

  225. Judy - December 18, 2012

I would prefer the white sewing cabinet. My goal for 2013 is to put together and finish 3 baby quilts for 3 new grandbabies. My current sewing “room” is our spare bedroom, my current workspace is an old student desk. When the grandbabies are with us, everything must be put away – no leaving scissors, pins, rotary cutters, sewing machines etc out. I would love to be have one place to put everything.

  226. Rachel - December 18, 2012

Thanks so much for the opportunity! White would be my choice. My “project” for 2013 is to have no unfinished items in my “pile” by December 2013. Lofty goal, but totally doable :-)

  227. Pamela - December 18, 2012

Wow! I’d LOVE to have this cabinet- in white….really in any color.
It is awesome looking in the photo of it by the bed!

  229. Kim Haugen - December 18, 2012

I would love to share my love of quilting with someone who perhaps cannot afford a nice sewing cabinet or has no room for something larger. I have nieces who would love this and if I won it I would love to be able to start their sewing area/room out with such a lovely piece of furniture. White would of course be something that hopefully anyone would be able to fit into their decor. Thank you for this opportunity to share such a wonderful gift.

  230. Marty Smith - December 18, 2012

I am going to get an embroidered quilt done for my son Patrick.

  231. Gay Steinweg - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to reorganize my sewing room completely. I have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and want to get everything under control so my family can deal with it when it is time. We are going to give most of my stash to new quilters to encourage them to learn this wonderful art so they can pass it down to future generations.

  232. Ollie M - December 18, 2012

My plans for the new year is to use the things I already have, to make more quilts for charity
and to get organized. This cabinet in black would go a long way to helping me to do this.
    Thank you very much. OLLIE

  233. Judi S. - December 18, 2012

My goal this year is to finish up several of my UFO, and try not to start any new project until that is done. Also I want to organize my sewing room so I can find items easier. The white sewing cabinet would make it so easy to do.

  234. Linda Harting - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish 3 of the 39 UFO’s hiding in closets, under the beds, under the sofa and in the laundry room!

  235. Sara McWhorter - December 18, 2012

My son is getting married in April and my goal this year is to make them a wedding ring quilt. I really think a black cabinet would help me focus on this! Don’t you?

  236. Louise Thorpe - December 18, 2012

I think white would look better in the dining room I use to sew in. I am 79 and would love to have a nice sewing area while I still can.I have a sign in my car that says I have the most fabric and I’m not going to die till I sew it all. I’ll need to live forever to do that. I have made children’s clothing in the past and am now in a Quilt Guild which donates to emergency situations. Corrently we’re working at getting over 29 quilts together for victims of a large fire a couple of weeks ago. We have given out approximately 100 quilts this year.

  237. Jeanne - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to make my first quilt. I have a great pattern for a strip quilt made with bright colored fabric perfect for the summer. I would love to make this quilt using the black cabinet.

  238. Kay Loudenberry - December 18, 2012

I would just love to win this cabinet in white. I have several projects for the coming year. One is a southwest queen size quilt for my own bed. The other is a fiber arts wall hanging put behind a glass window with six panels. I’ve got some of it done already and it should be fun.

  239. Cathy Underwood - December 18, 2012

I would love to have a real sewing area. I sew quite a bit doing lots of quilts and sewing that I donate. I use a fold up table in my sewing room now and it isn’t the best for height and ergonomic reasons. After a while I just feel a bit sore. But I love to sew so until I can win or afford one I will just make due. A Girls gotta have a dream…. ;-)

  240. Dina - December 18, 2012

This coming year I hope to add to my sewing skills and start a fab quilt that is fun and sassy. Love the white cabinet. How chic!

  241. Marcia Gilbreath - December 18, 2012

I would like to win the white version of the cabinet. I belong to a quilt club that makes donation quilts for the local Veteran’s Hospital. My goal is to make one donation quilt per month, as well as several quilts and smaller pieces for gifts.

  242. Rosie Boynton - December 18, 2012

Our daughter has breast cancer and is just completing her Chemo and surgery. It was her wish to get a sewing machine and her husband has done that for Christmas. They have a small home and this cabinet is perfect for her so she can sew the things she has always wanted to sew. This would bring a huge smile to her face and we need to see that smile back. Thank you for the opportunity. What a great give-away!

  243. Donna Zahn - December 18, 2012

I have been struggling with a portable sewing machine for six years that my children purchased for me at Christmas. I have never had a proper place to put it and certainly could use the white cabinet. I love the Connecting Threads fabrics. They have such lovely combinations for quilting. Keep up the good choices for us. My goal this coming year is to learn how to hand quilt so I can finish two Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilts my Mother started in about 1935.

  244. LaWanda Gravett - December 18, 2012

This cabinet will soooo fit into my room.

  245. Linda Christianson - December 18, 2012

I want to have less of a mess and more room to spread out the quilts’ parts. This means I have to put away all my new CT fabric in color order or by season. It is also very hard for me to stop sewing long enough to clean the space, my longarm quilting sewing room, not the family room. May I also finish the ten tops wanting to be quilted. Now the white cabinet would also answer my mother’s dream to have cabinet for her new sewing machine.

  246. Don na Smith - December 18, 2012

I am trying to get back into sewing, and learning how to quilt, now that I’m an empty nester, and supposedly have more time on my hands. I usually sew on my dining room table, and would love to be able to have a white cabinet just for sewing. I think it would encourage me to sew as it would make things easier!

  247. Carole Jensen - December 18, 2012

I would love the white cabinet. My plans for the coming year are to make a queen size quilt for our bed as well as some blankets for nieces and nephews for Christmas next year. I would love to be able to put my sewing machine ina cabinet like this. Then I wouldn’t have to worry about moving it off the dining room table when we need to use it.

  248. Lisa W. - December 18, 2012

I would like to complete projects in 2013 and to use up a lot of stuff I already have. I would love to have this cabinet in white.

  249. Karen Kunte - December 18, 2012

What a great cabinet! Thanks for the giveaway!

  250. Concetta Chiarolanza - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to complete a queen-sized quilt for my mother (all hexagons) that I have promised her for years now. My husband and I recently moved to our first home and would LOVE to be able to place the lovely black Sewnatra cabinet in my guest bedroom. I have never had space for a sewing area and was always slowed down by setting up and dismantling my quilting projects from the kitchen table each night after dinner. With the designated space I now have upstairs and the whimsical space-saving Sewnatra cabinet, I could finish my mother’s sage-green and white hexagon quilt in no time (without interruption)!

  251. Carol Reese - December 18, 2012

My goal for FY2013 is to make my daughter’s wedding quilt. The white cabinet would look great in my sewing room and would sure be very helpful in my quilting.

  252. Mary - December 18, 2012

I am new to sewing. My goal for 2013 is to make and organize a dedicated sewing area (hopefully room…. not area) at my house and start my first bed size quilt. Organization is essential to sewing and the Black cabinet would help me so much.

  255. Madeleine - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for next year is to finish my husband’s Halloween quilt, a quilt made from leftover fabric from my daughter’s quilt, and a quilt made from fabric I have from Africa. I would love the cabinet in white. It would be perfect for me since we don’t have a lot of space.

  258. Cindy Howard - December 18, 2012

In the new year I plan to finish all my UFO’s and really spend much more time in my quilt room! The white cabinet would look great and be much used in my new quilt room and provide needed organization. New projects are always on my list. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

  259. Joyce Grinstead - December 18, 2012

I have always enjoyed a challenge and my challenge for 2013 is the wedding ring quilt. The white cabinet would look nice in my sewing room. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years everyone!

A Girls gotta have a dream…. ;-) I almost forgot. I would not mind either color but would prefer a white cabinet.

  261. candace vroman - December 18, 2012

We have just moved to a small remote cabin in the mountains – and space is a premium! I love to sew and desperately need a place to store my tools and notions. My goal this year is to somehow figure out how to return to this creative joy -Not only would I cherish and use this wonderful prize, but my husband would love you dearly! White is my color choice.

  262. Loraine Isenberger - December 18, 2012

I love to sew and I need to decrease my stack of UFO’s. This will help to organize a bit more and get my machine quilting done.

  263. Kathy Marlow - December 18, 2012

  267. Mary - December 18, 2012

Cute cute cute! This would help in my goal to get my sewing area organized so I can do a little every day and finally use all the beautiful fabric I have purchased.

  268. Kay - December 18, 2012

In 2013 I would like to learn free motion quilting.
To finish a few UFO’s would be a good thing too. As
my sewing room is small, a white cabinet would be
    so nice.
Merry Christmas to your staff and all readers and
Thank You for offering this lovely prize.

  269. Pauline - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this for my daughter. She is a busy work-at-home-mom of 2 young boys, and loves to quilt. They don’t have a lot of extras, and this would be a great present for her.

  272. Avis Powers - December 18, 2012

I have no place to set my sewing machine up & leave it, so …I guess my goal for the new year would be to make myself a sewing corner SOMEWHERE, where I can set up my machine & LEAVE it. Perhaps I’ll finish some of my many UFO’s. A beautiful cabinet like this one in WHITE would certainly help me to achieve my goals.

  273. Edrie Cross - December 18, 2012

Then about a dozen started quilts. I actually finished 3 UFO in the past 2 weeks (thus early start) f2 for Christmas gifts one for charity Christmas. My goal is to turn as many of these UFO into finished quilts. This way I have room to start my 14 year old hopefully on her new passion. She wants to make a quilt! This cute little cabinet in BLACK would give her a work station as my sway back table isn’t fit for two machines. Merry Christmas!

  279. Marilyn H. - December 18, 2012

My goal is to continue to make quilts, totes and pillowcases for the various philanthropy projects that my area quilt guilds support and make quilts for the twin beds in my guest room. If I should be lucky enough to win, I would like to have a white cabinet. Thank you for this opportunity!

  280. Nancy MacKenzie - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to expand my machine quilting skills. Having the perfect white sewing cabinet would be one step in the right direction enabling me to reach this goal. Happy quilting!

  281. Cindy Slavick - December 18, 2012

I’m trying to move my sewing room to the sewing studio! What a mess with piles of fabric and UFO’s! I plan to get the move finished, the rooms straightened and have a place and time to work on some of the fabric and patterns I didn’t even remember I had?!?! LOL

  282. Ann Louise - December 18, 2012

My friend, who lost her mother, has been in a funk. She was never interested in quilting, and I took her to a retreat. I started her on a simple zig-zag quilt for her grandson. She is hooked, and now knows the meaning of “fat quarters” and “rotary cutters”. It has helped us work through grief we both have, spending time together and having a fun outcome. I would give her the white one.

  283. Ellen Chase - December 18, 2012

Which comes first? starting too many quilts or buying more fabric than I can use in anyone’s lifetime? The white cabinet would be a wonderful addition to hold some useful
sewing items and for a base for my old Singer featherlight.
I can picture me at the sewing machine cabinet many days next year as I start and finish a quilt all the same year!

  284. Arvella Gatlin - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal is to learn to quilt using either pantos or the groovy board. Right now, I can only offer free hand quilting on a beginner level. I want to increase my offerings with these new (to me) technique. I also want to do some embroidered quilt squares that don’t “shout” embroidered by using a non-coordinated (read white) background! :)

  285. Cindy Slavick - December 18, 2012

This isn’t another entry, I forgot to say, I’d love the cabinet in white!

  286. Ashlee Shakir - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to learn all I can about quilting. I am new to quilting and have only made the top part of 3 quilts. I have made 2 quilts for my wonderful 10 year old daughter and 1 for my amazing mother who with out her my life would not be the same not to mention I would not even be here, But she really is my biggest fan. I love you MOM. Ok, Back to quilting and my goal for 2013 I like I said am a new quilter and would like to finish my very first quilt in 2013. I have the best teacher ever my Grandma Mary Cromley and I know with her help and guideance I can acomplish anything in quilting. So I hope to win this cabinet in White so I can grow in my quilting adventure. I have to say I only have the starter stuff and man is it hard to cut blocks and strips with a cutting board that is only 12×18, so this cabinet will be a true blessing for me to win. Thanks have a Merry CHRISTmas!

  287. Pam Bowman - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 would be to have more time to quilt the miles of fabric i have currently.
    Black please!

  288. Rita Jackson - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to piece, quilt and give the three quilts I have promised to three special people in my life. I know this table would help me reach my goal because it would help me reorganize my sewing room to make it easier to find and use what I have instead of wasting time searching through boxes and bags.

  289. Geri Wylie - December 18, 2012

My goal for the New Year, is to complete many wanted items, and many in waiting. I love to create, and give gifts to people for no reason. (Unbirthday gifts) I have so many wishes for the New Year, and the white cabinet would be another wish come true.

  290. Diane Ritchie - December 18, 2012

I would prefer the white cabinet. My goal this year would be to set up my main sewing area a bit more conveniently so I can use 3 machines at the same time – 2 doing embroidery and 1 for sewing.

  291. Kandy Krieser - December 18, 2012

This looks like quite a nice sewing cabinet. If I would be lucky enough to win this cabinet, I would give it to my friend. She has her sewing room in the basement of her house and doesn’t have much room for her spools of thread and tools. This would make a great addition to anyones room.

  292. Jane A. - December 18, 2012

It would be nice to finally have a permanent place to sew other than our breakfast table or dining room. Busy making twin size quilts for a new Recovery Center so not having to continuously move my machine would be a great motivator and time saver! My own place to spread out…..wow, what a treat!

  293. Carolyn McGann - December 18, 2012

I would love to have such a nice cabnet as this for my mothers machine,it’s a 1954 Montgomery Wards.

  294. Rita Engard - December 18, 2012

I would like to win the cabinet in white so it can help me with my goal of using 1/2 of my fabric stash to make quilts next year.

  295. Sherry C - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 would be to actually quilt some, better yet – all, of the quilt tops that I have finished.
I would also like to finish up some ufo’s that I have hidden in just about every nook and cranny of my sewing room. lol.
I would love to win the Sewnatra table in the White finish. The table is goregous!
Thank you very much for the opportunity to win one!

  296. Pauline Kennelly - December 18, 2012

My goal is to free motion several “flimsy” I’ve already finished. They are too precious to me to leave folded up in the closet. I’d l?ve the ??Sewnatura?? sewing cabinet in white. Thanks for the opportunity to win this neat prize. I L?VE Connecting Threads. You are my first choice when I need fabric.

  297. Marilyn Robins - December 18, 2012

I received fabric from a sister-in-law’s stash after death last year. I plan to use her baby fabrics and make quilts so that I can give quilts from her fabrics to the rest of her great-grandchildren as they arrive. That way all of them can have some of her fabric. She was always an inspiration to my sewing.

  298. Lydia Lawrence - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this in white. My goal for 2013 is to finish all my projects. I have so many. Right now I have a desk that I use for sewing. This cabinet would free up so much space that just the thought of it makes me smile. Thank you for the opportunity.

  299. Maryellen Holman - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to organize my craft room and to make a list of all the UFO’s that I have and number them in priority. Being a homemaker, a new “Empty Nester” and having my children and grandchildren living far away, I have taken up quilting and sewing as a way to keep me busy. I would love to win the white sewing cabinet as I love how compact it is and would be a perfect sewing station. Thank you and may the Lord bless you in the New Year.

  300. Janet Sue Brown - December 18, 2012

This would be a big addition to my “sewing area”. I never seem to have the right place for my machine and this would fit anywhere!
    Janet sue

  301. Jean Alexander - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish up my UFE’s so I can try some of the new patterns I have been collecting. I also hope to make a couple of quilts for my church bazaar.

  302. Dianne Smith - December 18, 2012

I prefer the white cabinet. My goal for is to complete 6 quilts that will be given as gifts to my nieces and nephew. I also plan to complete a quilt for a friend of my son’s who is in the Marines.

  303. Ginger Hendrickson - December 18, 2012

I want to start sewing quilts again, now that my daughter is old enough to listen when I tell her to leave the scissors alone. And I could fit this cabinet into our apartment- now that I no longer have a sewing room. I think the white one would be perfect.

  304. Beverly Graves - December 18, 2012

My plans include making a quilt for our grandson as a wedding gift. Of course, I have UFOs that need my attention, also. This cabinet in white would help me to finally have an incentive to be more organized.

  305. Sharon Kruml - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this it would certainly help make me become more organized. If you saw my sewing room, you could really appreciate the need of this. Thank you for considering me.

  306. Cathy Krall - December 18, 2012

I would love the white one, my goal this coming year is to do more charity quilts, plus finish a couple and that are started and do a special quilt for my dear friends 10th aniversary.

  307. Patti Maxam - December 18, 2012

This is amazing!! I love both colors but the white one would go the best with my home. My goal for 2013 is to finish some of the craft projects I have started. I have started many. I have great intentions in making pillowcases for sick children and finishing lap quilts for HOSPICE. One of the problems is I don’t have a space to keep my work at easy access. This would be perfect, then I could keep my things out until they were done and my kitchen and dinning table would be for eating only. Thank you for the chance and I hope you all have a beautiful holiday!!!!!

  308. Cathie Cantrell - December 18, 2012

My goal is take my large collection of scraps and tackle my first quilt. My 10 year old is learning to sew and will go on this adventure with me. We like the white cabinet.

  309. Cathy - December 18, 2012

My plans for 2013 is to finish setting up my sewing room and getting a cabinet to put my machine in. I am a person who needs to stay very organized. Now that I am on a fixed income and retired this white cabinet would be very helpful. I would like to get going on making snuggle quilts for those children and adults going through tuff times. I do knit prayer shawls for cancer patients and others who need to keep warm but I would really like to get going on making quilts. I haven’t made many quilts yet but I am very anxious to get going.

  310. Sharon Ray - December 18, 2012

I just joined a quilting quild last week and would love to have this cabinet in black so that I can put my Janome on top and start making quilts for show and tell! I have a lot of catching up to do and this would be so much nicer than using my kitchen table. Thanks.

  311. Elaine - December 18, 2012

This cabinet, in white, would be great for a workspace and storage. Hopefully, in the coming year, I will be able to get some charity quilts done as well as some family Christmas presents. Maybe even one for myself.

  312. Shirley - December 18, 2012

I would love to win a white cabinet to add to my sewing area. Maybe I would be able to get some UFO’s completed and then to start more fun quilting projects. Thanks you for this opportunity.

  313. Lyn Brown - December 18, 2012

My goal after the first of the year is to start right away on Christmas quilts to give all my siblings next Christmas.

  314. Lorraine VanWhy - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is learn more patience, and to learn machine quilting – love handquilting but not getting many projects done and also to finish handquilting a bedsize quilt for my in-laws.
I would love to win the cabinet in white –
    Thank you for the opportunity.
    Lorraine VanWhy

  315. Sheila Williamson - December 18, 2012

The white cabinet would be a wonderful solution to my down sizing to in law quarters. With the new changes in my life my goal is to work on my UFO quilt tops and for once keep some for myself. One that is a special project is using cloth hankies from loved ones to make a quilt. Some of the hankies are quite old. I also have been involved in doing lap quilts for a local nursing home. I never win anything but may as well try. Thanks for the chance.

  316. Wanda Hanson - December 18, 2012

Wow that is a great little cabinet. It would be perfect for my serger.

  317. Joan Ruffing - December 18, 2012

My whole house is a sewing room. I don’t have a sewing cabinet. I put together two 5 ft. long folding tables in the middle of a bedroom. I have my sewing/embroidery machine and my serger and another little work horse of a machine all jammed on them. My cutting table and ironing board are in my living room and I even sometimes drag that old work horse into the kitchen to sew. It sure would be nice to have a tidy little cabinet such as being given away in this contest. Imagine, dream, create. I sew mostly for charities these days, children’s quilts and clothes.

  318. Eileen Mincarelli - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this cabinet. My daughter moved home after college, bringing the many things she accrued while in school. My sewing machine, projects and stuff are strewn around my dining room.

  319. Karen timm - December 18, 2012

I was fortunate to inherit quilts from my grand mother but one of them is falling apart. My goal is to locate matching fabrics and remake this quilt. I have a very small work space and this would be a great addition in white.

  320. sandy c - December 18, 2012

Oh how I could use a cabinet like that to go with my current sewing table; it would add on perfectly and finally give me enough room for everything. I recently moved to a smaller house so space is an issue and this would be a good fit. Happy Holidays. This is really a great prize.

  321. Ginny Sommarstrom - December 18, 2012

Wow! Now that’s something I could really use. Sharing my sewing room with our guest room means I desperately need places to store all my quilting “stuff.”
Thank you for offering this wonderful prize.

  322. Nathe DeNoma - December 18, 2012

I have a made-over bedroom I have kidnapped for ALL my sewing and quilting needs. The unfortunate part about this is my ability to keep things together goes for the most part out the window. A new sewing cabinet would help so much with being able to keep things together. My sewingquilting goal for this new year include finishing up a quilt I started over 25 years ago when my eldest son was still in diapers! It is out of fashion cordoroy that you couldn’t find again until the last few years. I am hoping to pull it all together in time for his birthday in July…wish me luck!

  323. esther barnes - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish all the projects I have started. And I’d love to win this sewing cabinet in white to give to my daughter who also quilts. She doesn’t have a sewing space (uses the dining room table)…..it would make sewing much easier for her.

  324. Mabel Toth - December 18, 2012

I recently found three Pizza boxes with all the blocks, hand appliqued, and borders and sashing all cut out–my goal is to get these set and quilted. I am a hand word person, but, hands giving out, so am setting by machine and quilting some by hand-some by machine. Have seen some patterns to start another pieced quilt–we never outgrow our love of quilting!! If I win this cabinet- I would like in white!

  325. Nancy Briar - December 18, 2012

I’d love to win this cabinet. I’ve been quilting for awhile, but find using a sewing machine on a table is hard to deal with. A large cabinet like this would be great to sew my quilts for my charities.

  326. Bonnie Hometchko - December 18, 2012

My goal is to learn machine quilting and finish at least 6 quilt projects, including one with machine embroidery. I would love to win the sewing cabinet in white. Happy Holidays!

  327. Linda Carlson Enge - December 18, 2012

I will turn 70 in January and hope to keep on the right side of the sod for many years as I have a liftime of ideas for new quilts and a 50+ year stash I work with. Somehow, I always seem to need a “few” new fabrics too – especially love the beautiful batiks. I don’t think I will ever get ahead of the stash! Your thread is absolutely the best I have found. The white cabinet would be great, but hey, would love whatever came my way. A daily quilter, Linda Carlson Enge

  331. Beth T. - December 18, 2012

One of my goals for this year is to complete the works-in-progress that have been waiting for me. Two days ago my sweetheart pulled out a lovely sampler that just needs to be bound, and asked why we weren’t using it. When I said it needed binding attached, he asked, “Is that hard?”. No, it’s not–so why have I let that stand between us and a quilt I worked diligently on and then let linger in quilty neverland?
I would be especially thrilled with a black cabinet. Fingers crossed!

  332. Barbara Powell - December 18, 2012

I would love to receive this cabinet, what a great gift to my daughter for her sewing projects. I have been sewing for many years and am very pleased to have my daughter carry on the tradition that my mother and grandmother gave to me. This would be the best holiday gift ever for both her and me!

  335. Tonya R. - December 18, 2012

For next year my goal is to make a mariners compass type quilt or one of Linda Hahn’s New York Beauty quilts. And when I make that quilt I will use from my stash (hoard) so as to make room for new fabrics later. If I were to win I would prefer the white cabinet, but I am not picky so either would work.

  336. Patricia - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this table. My husband has to set up an old wooden table, clamp on light so I can see and so on. My thread and notions are in a plastic bag that I hide in the closet. It would be a God send for organization and inspiration to help me finish my baby quilt for my first grandchild that is arriving in 2013. A space to call my own. :) I am sewing one for a little girl and will be doing one for a little boy.

  337. Betty Sander - December 18, 2012

My goal for next year is to finish machine quilting my sister’s quilt and finish all of my UFO’s. I would love to win the white cabinet to give me more room while I am machine quilting.

  338. Donna Harrington - December 18, 2012

I do not have a sewing cabinet and use a folding table to set my sewing machine on. I am trying to set up a designated sewing area in my home and a black sewing cabinet would be right up my alley. I really do believe that with the proper equipment, I will be able to complete all the quilts that I am currently dreaming of and any of the unknown others that may come to mind! Thank you for the opportunity to enter to win this cabinet in black.

  339. Pat Augustus - December 18, 2012

  340. Diane C - December 18, 2012

  346. Sandra Fisher - December 18, 2012

I would love to win a gift card, as I’m not eligible for the cabinet, unless you send it to my daughter in MI! My goal is to finish all the WIPS and maybe get more organized in 2013! The cabinet would help me do that, or it would help my daughter. It would make a lovely surprise gift for her.

  347. Rosemarie Fenelon - December 18, 2012

Winning this cabinet would be a dream come true. Now I sew on an old typewriter table! It works out OK but how nice it would be to have that extended space when quilting the quilts I make for Project Linus. Maybe I’ll get to the quilt kits from Connecting threads that are waiting to be sewn. The White would be just perfect. Merry Christmas!

  348. Marissa Kraus - December 18, 2012

Winning this cabinet (in white) would help me tremendously sewing on an ergonomically correct placement of my sewing machine and have the proper height for the chair I am using and the legroom it provides. The cabinet storage would help store some of my sewing accessories, too. I would also be more inspired to organize the rest of my sewing and crafting area. Keeping my fingers x’ed for luck in winning.

My neice is a missionary and she has an orphanage there. My goal also is to learn to do mitered corners better. I would like to have the sewing cabinet in white. Thank you, Patty

  368. Crystal Petresky - December 18, 2012

My one regret,(and goal for this year),is that with all the quilts and table runners and purses that I have given away over the years, I have never finished a quilt for my son. I belong to a quilt group that makes many donation quilts and other projects, but I can’t seem to finish my own. I don’t have a sewing room, so all my projects spill out from an apartment size dining table while my sewing machine is set upon my Grandmother’s old treadle machine, which makes it too tall to sew comfortably. A white sewing cabinet at the right height, and to store all my utensils would be delightful!

  369. Susan Reeder - December 18, 2012

My 2013 goal is to finish my UFOs! Of course, that was my goal last year as well, but I can’t seem to resisit starting new projects as well… I recently started free-motion quilting, and would like use it more to quilt my finished projects as well. I would love to win the white cabinet to give to my grand-daughter, who I am teaching how to sew.

  370. Bev. Olson - December 18, 2012

My new motto is going to be “I’m going to…..” rather than saying “I want to…..” so I actually do the project!!!
    The power of positive thinking!!
    Bev.

  371. cheryl - December 18, 2012

I plan on making some scrap quilts next year to use up a lot of my fabric. I would love
    The cabinet in black.

  372. Vicki - December 18, 2012

My goal for the year 2013 is to complete my unfinished quilt projects. I am a great started but not always the best finisher. I would like to change that to become as great a finisher as a starter. The while sewing cabinet would be perfect for me!

  373. MARY - December 18, 2012

    what an awesome cabinet!

  374. Colleen - December 18, 2012

I would lokve to win this. I wanted one for Christmas but the are expensive :0)

  375. Julie H - December 18, 2012

I have not been able to make a quilt or anything else that required a sewing machine for almost 7 years. I am happy to say I am finally able to start up again and this cabinet, in white, would look grand in the room that has been finally designated as my sewing room. Excuse while I go dream about how I would fit this cabinet into the room!

  376. Nora Krake - December 18, 2012

My gold by winning this cabinet is to reorganize my sewing room so I can do more quilts. Connecting Threads have so many fun fabrics and fun things that I would order.

  377. Lori - December 18, 2012

I would like to get my ufos done thats been on the back burner for years.

  378. Jamie Lee - December 18, 2012

What an amazing giveaway! If I won I’d give the white cabinet to my daughter Bea who is turning 7 in January. She wanted her own sewing machine for Christmas, which Santa happily will be delivering! She spends so much time sewing with me that it was time she got her own. My sewing goal for 2013 is to just keep on sewing as much as I can!

  379. Sherrie - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to learn free motion quilting so I can quilt my own quilts that I do for Quilts of Valor. This would save me a bundle that I could use to buy more fabric to do more quilts for a very worthy cause.

  380. Rebecca Eichstadt - December 18, 2012

In the process of redecorating my sewing studio. All the furnishings are white with cream colored walls. Fresh and bright. This would be a perfect piece for my room. Lots and lots of uses. Thanks in advance for picking my name LOL

  381. Mary C - December 18, 2012

Recently retired and need to get into my stash. This cabinet would be great.

  382. Carla - December 18, 2012

My goal this year is to complete my first quilting project. I am interested in the cabinet with the white finish. Thank you for this opportunity!

  383. Lori Larrabee - December 18, 2012

hope to get my ufos done thats been on the back burner for years.

  384. Stephanie Moskal - December 18, 2012

I just recently completed my first quilting class and I created a lap quilt, complete with pillow case and matching stuffed rooster. I will be giving it to my oldest granddaughter for Christmas. My younger granddaughter and her brother saw me working on the quilt and wanted to know who it was for. So I purchased material enough for a quilt for each of them, as well. That’s my goal…to complete those two quilts, complete with pillow cases and stuffed animals to match to use as gifts for them next year. Seems like a plan I could complete but having that lovely (my preference would be the white finish) cabinet to organize and store my material and notions in would surely help. I wouldn’t be tripping over boxes as I do now!

  385. brook scott - December 18, 2012

I planning on practicing my free-motion skills and finishing a bed quilt all by myself!

  386. Linda Grote - December 18, 2012

Since retiring, I was diagnosed with Lupus. This new year, I”ll be striving to quilt. A nice cabinet will help me keep organized and have the energy. Thank you.

  387. Maurine Huffines - December 18, 2012

I no longer have a website but I do have an active blog.
    Blessings,
    Maurine Huffines

  388. Wanda Bennett - December 18, 2012

One of my goals in 2013 is to practice more on free motion quilting so I can get more confident in doing my own machine quilting. The white cabinet would be great storage for my material. Thanks for the giveaways!

  389. Cheryl Eskins - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to recognize each fallen angel in the Connecticut school shooting by making a personalized quilt for each family with their childs name and birthdate with their own special quote so they can hold it close to their hearts. My love for quilting and children is what makes me happy. I would love to win the white cabinet to complete this memorable moments for these very special families. God Bless

  390. Crystal R. - December 18, 2012

I have 2 goals this year. First, to get the majority of my quilt tops actually quilted. The second is to use as much of my scraps as possible. Hoping to win this cabinet for a friend who has just started quilting. She would love it!

  391. Laura Buckles - December 18, 2012

I’m a stay at home caregiver and have been hoping to generate some income with an Etsy.com store or selling in shops. This would be a perfect size for the house, so I could stay here and work!! I’d love to have it in white.

  392. Joanne Spencer - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2014 is make a big dent in my stash! I tried to do that last year, and it doesn’t show! People keep giving me fabric to make quilts for them, so my stash just sits there glaring at me. This year, I hope NO ONE asks me to make them a quilt, even though I love doing it.

  393. Vicky Hagemeister - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for the year is to finish working through book one of Harriet Hargrave’s Quilter’s Academy. I have learned a lot about being a better quilter from this book and look forward to working my way through the rest of the series too. My preference would be for a white finish.

  394. Laura Hendricks - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this in white. My goals for the coming year are to finish all started projects!!!

  395. Penny Huffman - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to try Elisa Wilson’s curve templates to make a pattern called Floating Ringst. It is different than my usual straight seam patterns and I am going to try using baiiks too! I would love to win the arrow cabinet in white!

  396. Janet Phipps - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finally make a quilt for myself! I have quite a stash that needs to be thinned out! I would love to have the sewing cabinet in white. What a blessing it would be to win this prize! My current sewing table is a piece of plywood. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity! Merry Christmas to you all.

  397. Suzanne Huston - December 18, 2012

Sewing is so much easier when you are organized and white keeps a small space looking larger. I have spent the past year keeping the donation quilts stocked for our guild as the leader has been receiving chemo and treatment for cancer. I am looking forward to getting back to my own design work in quilts that were set aside for the year.

  398. Carol Sc - December 18, 2012

This always seems to be a crazy time of year — one of my goals, for next year, is to finish my Christmas sewing before the ninth hour! I would love to win the sewing cabinet in white.

  399. Rhonda Ewing - December 18, 2012

Hello and Merry Christmas. The project I would most like to finish this year is to complete a quilt using the crazy quilt squares that my mother had done. i have done the calculations and if I add a big enough border, there are enough squares to complete two quilts, one for each of my children. My youngest, a daughter has married an american soldier who left for Afganastan the week after they married. there was no time for a reception and my goal is to finish a quilt for them by the time he comes home and we have a reception for them in Canada. I am not eligable for the cabinet, but if I was, it would be white.
    Thanks

  400. Pat Tadel - December 18, 2012

I love this, it is perfect as a nigh stand/table in the guest room where my daughter stays to spend the day quilting with me. She often complains of the “bother” to put up a folding table and move everything around so we can sit together in the room and share a day, priceless to both of us. This would help in a too small space, as it would not be in the way with other visitors, quickly converting back to a table next to the bed if need be. I really would find this such a great addition for us both. And, when she gets a bigger place, I could send it with her to encourage her own quilting, and then I visit her and the tables would be switched so to speak!

  401. Jamie H - December 18, 2012

I have been a scrapbooker for years – I have put my cricut on the shelf and am learning to sew! I am so excited about sewing and my addiction to cute fabric is a little out of control! I have made 2 quilts so far, nothing fancy. My goal for this year is to learn how to make some of the deliciously wonderful quilts I am seeing on blogs/internet.
If I were to win, I’d like the white cabinet. I have converted my garage into a sewing/craft room and I know exactly where it will fit!

  402. Trudy Bradley - December 18, 2012

My mom made quilts for all of her grandkids and set the example for me to follow. I have seven grandchildren, and two of the quilts are finished. My goal for 2013 is to finish the next five Whew! I’ll surely have callouses by then…but they will be evidence that I made them all!!!

  403. Paula Rough - December 18, 2012

My goal for quilting this next year is to make a quilt where I choose the fabric and put it all together and also make the Connecting Threads kit that I have sitting on my shelf. It’s an autumn quilt so I have some time to do that. Thanks for the opportunity to win a prize. White would be my color.

  404. Sara Key - December 18, 2012

As a quilting teacher, I hope to be able to share my love for quilting with all my students and to get them aas excited about quilting as I am. I would love the table in white.

  405. Jackie - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to keep using up my stash so that I can start a whole new one. I just finished my third scrappy quilt so all my “little scraps” are used up (for now) and the quilts have gone out to where they belong. I would love that cabinet in white to keep my sewing room organized and neat. Quilting is my passion and I don’t see an end in sight.

  406. Peggy Moran - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish the quilt I started and to continue with other quilts I have planned. My grandmother quilted for all of us and I want to continue the tradition for the next generation. I would love the sewing cabinet in black. It would make an awesome addition to my living room which is where I sew.

  407. Kellie Karaky - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this cabinet. In 2011 the entire first floor of my house was destroyed in the tornadoes that devastated the south. I was fortunate in that no one in my family was killed. However, my sewing room was on the first floor and I lost everything. I would love a sewing cabinet in white. I used to quilt every day, now I don’t have a space. I set up a hand-me-down machine on our kitchen table when I can, but I can’t leave projects up, I have to feed the family! A nice white cabinet would really be appreciated. Thank you for all that you do for us all year!

  408. maureen mcgraw - December 18, 2012

  410. rachelle pare - December 18, 2012

i am a new quilter of about a year now and i have had enormous fun learning the skills to make my two grandchildren quilts and numerous friends table runners and other small crafts to practice learning the things i need to learn. this would be a wonderful asset to my sewing room to help me with my equipment.

  411. linda Leszczewski - December 18, 2012

This year I have been through breast cancer surgery and chemo plus then I tore my rotator cuff so I could not pick up my machine toput it on the table to sew. I am hoping to be able to sew in the new year as soon as my doctors tell me I can lift my machine.

I need to set up the sewing studio – I moved in a year ago and still haven’t set up this wonderful, big (16 x13) room for sewing. It’s being painted over Christmas…then on to setting up the studio!
    Black.

  414. Margaret Hough - December 18, 2012

My goal in 2013 is to give both my sewing machine and serger a home of their own, so I don’t have to take one machine off the little desk I use and put up the other! I would love this cabinet in white, as I like light, breezy furniture that makes my small apartment appear so much larger than it actually is.

  415. Mary - December 18, 2012

My quilting goals include making one charity quilt per month, finishing up one UFO per month and getting my scraps organized. I also hope to start several new projects!
That cabinet would be awesome in my sewing room. I’m planning on painting and new curtains in there soon, and a white cabinet would be perfect for it. Thanks for a chance to win.
    Merry Christmas!

  416. Viola Ward - December 18, 2012

6 weeks ago we moved from our very large dream home into a smaller house. I did not have room for my large sewing table so now I am looking for a smaller one that will be sufficient. This one would work. White. Thank you for the chance to win.

Thank you for the opportunity to win this beautiful gem!!!

  424. Mary Burn - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish my UFO’s and quit procrastinating. It is really hard not to start new items that are so tempting but I am going to try and resist any that come along. I would love to have the white cabinet — would be perfect for my sewing room. Thanks for including me in your giveaway.

  425. Marcia Hoekstra - December 18, 2012

I have a new grandson who will make an appearance in mid-April and will need a quilt made by Grandma – a tradition in our family. The extended top on the sewing cabinent looks like it would make machine quilting much more user friendly.

  426. Joyce Godwin - December 18, 2012

As a fairly novice quilter, my goals are several: 1) try new patterns that challenge my abilities 2) continue to make quilts for Prayers and Squares Quilt Ministry 3) to make at least 3 Quilts of Valor 4) Try to stay organized in an extremely small quilting area so I can find “stuff”!!!

  427. Trina Miller - December 18, 2012

I hope to finish up seveal quilting projects that I have started over the past few years. maybe take up the challenge of sewing 15 minutes a day. With me going to school there does not seem to be a lot of time to study so that 15 minute challenge seems attainable. LOL. I would like the sewing cabinet in black
Thank you for offering this chance.
    Trina

  428. Dianne LaSchiazza - December 18, 2012

This year I made 24 preemie quilts, which are donated through our guild to the local NICUs. This number has increased through the past 5 o5 6 years, so I guess this year I will aim to do 30. As I live in Canada I can’t win the beautiful cabinet, but we can all find a good use of a gift certificate. Merry Christmas everyone.

  429. Mona Bocchino - December 18, 2012

I started to buy up all my quilting supplies to make quilts like my mom and aunts and grandma made. I have got carried away with material and everything else so would love something to have to keep everything all together.

  430. Deena Bodily - December 18, 2012

I make quilts for all of my great nieces and nephews when they are born, and I am currently learning to machine quilt. I would put this cabinet to good use. I would prefer white in color, as this would match my cutting table.

I’m dreaming of a White Cabinet! I have always wanted a cabinet like this so that I could quilt all the time. My goal is to finish all the tops I have pieced.

  441. Linda Lynch - December 18, 2012

First goal of 2013: clean my sewing room! I use Grandma’s very old sewing machine cabinet that was retro-fitted to accommodate one of my machines. The treadle doesn’t “do” anything, but it’s fun to rock it back and forth while deep into handwork or just thinking of Grandma. Grandkids like it, too! The setup works well, but my other machine would look fabulous in a white Sewnatra cabinet! Merry Christmas, Connecting Threads!

  442. ISOBEL PELLETIER - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to make as many quilts as I can for cancer patients in our community. I also have a couple of grandchildren who could use new quilts since they have grown quite tall. Quilt a few of my quilts will be made from scraps that I have accumulated over the past couple of years. The white cabinet would be just perfect for me to pull out at anytime to work on one of my quilts.

  457. Janet Hoeltzel - December 18, 2012

One of my goals for the new year is to finish all the projects I have started, including the Connecting Threads kits I already have. I also want to make some quilts in the new modern style and make use of the fabric I have been collecting. I love to recycle and make something old new again. I plan to make some more art quilts, and the white cabinet would fit perfectly in my sunroom, which is also my sewing room.

  458. Catherine - December 18, 2012

My goals for 2013 are to create my first applique quilt (they’ve always intimidated me), and to teach a friend’s daughter to make small beginner quilts. A small white cabinet would be a welcome addition to my limited home space.

  459. Lori Stone - December 18, 2012

I want to finish FMQ on 5 of my UFO’s and enter them at a couple of quilt shows. I have always been afraid to enter a show but 2013 is going to be the year. I would love to win the black cabinet. Would be perfect in my sewing room.

  460. Jennifer Foor - December 18, 2012

The Sewnatra in white would be perfect for me. I am a relatively new quilter/sewer and I have to set up and take down all of the time as I really don’t have a sewing space/room. This would be a perfect fit it my small second bedroom and everything would be handy. Wow….

  461. Dianne Chandler - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this cabinet. Recently we had to move away from our family and friends and come to the Midwest. Since that move, I have been into a deep depresstion. We had to sell most of our belongings and one of them was my sewing machine. My husband is going to buy me a new machine, for Christmas, and winning the cabinet would just be the answer to help me get back into life. The black cabinet would be a happy Christmas present to place my new machine in.

  462. Shirley - December 18, 2012

My goal for the new year is to make 2 hats a month for cancer patients where I work. Also create some art wall quilts. I love your site! I would prefer the white cabinet.

  463. Mike Nicovich - December 18, 2012

My goal for this year is to enable my wife and daughter to complete all the projects that they want to tackle.

  464. Mary Jo Richardson - December 18, 2012

I have twin sons with autism one of them is very crafty. I would like to help him make a quilt and donate it to the Autism Society of Washington for a fundraiser raffle.

  465. Denise Raumaker - December 18, 2012

Sure would be nice to have a sewing table like that in black. I really like to sew, but must use my Dinningroom tale to do so. Setting up and then putting everything away, takes so much time, with a table like that, would make sewing fun, not a chore.

  466. Nita Samson - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to keep learning to quilt. I would like to win the black cabinet. I do not have as sewing room so I set my machine up in the living room on a table. It would be nice to have a place to keep my machine and supplies in one place.

  467. Lavonne Hansen - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish my first quilt. I retired at 69. Spent this year getting a sewing room (one of the bedrooms) set up and my huge stash of fabric organized for quilting. Donated over 200 yards of dressmaking and children’s fabric to charity and just kept the cottons. I would like a cabinet in black and will use it next to my chair in the family room so I can sew and watch TV. My grandma, too, made quilts for every family member and I am going to keep up her tradition.

  468. Kathy K - December 18, 2012

My goal is first to not buy anymore fabric until I put a dent in what I already have. I’m doing that by making quilts for a Homeless Shelter out on Long Island NY, where victims of Hurrican Sandy have taken shelter. Most are families that have lost everything so quilts are truly needed and Welcomed. I’m also whipping up Doll Quilts and sending along a doll with it, so the little girls that come in will have something special to hold onto in their time of need. I’d love the Black cabinet because I just purchased a Reproduction Anniversary Singer 160 and boy would it look nice sitting ontop of that cabinet.

  469. Molly McLaughlin - December 18, 2012

My husband and I share our Victorian home with our daughter and her 3 children. I lost my sewing room in the shuffel. I now set up a table in the living room and make a huge mess. What a life changing event it would be to have these sewing tables and be able to just close it up when i have finished for the day
    Molly McLaughlin

  470. Nancy Alley - December 18, 2012

My goal for this year is for another 20 Elementary School children to complete quilts in the after school class I teach. There has already been over 100 students, many that have made more than one quilt. The white cabinet would be a nice thank you gift for all the hours I donate to this cause. Thank you.

  471. Sandra Blackwell - December 18, 2012

Next year I hope to finish my Dear Jane top and a quilt for my daughter. A white cabinet please.

  473. Carol Harter - December 18, 2012

I plan to finish 3 quilts I have started but not finished. Also I want to make a stack ‘n whack quilt. My quilting teacher Lyn Brown is doing a class on stack ‘n whack in Jan.

  474. Dina - December 18, 2012

The white sewing cabinet would fit nicely in my bedroom or my livingroom. I currently sew with my machine on my ironing board and Im patiently waiting for it to end up on the floor. In the past 3 months, I have pieced and quilted 5 quilts and 6 stockings…all Christmas gifts. My goal for 2013 is to definitely get started sewing the Christmas gifts in January so I dont feel so rushed, and maybe even end up with a few spare items for last minute gifts.

  475. susan - December 18, 2012

The Sewing Cabinet would be perfect to help me get my sewing room organized!!!

  476. Ila - December 18, 2012

  477. Sharon Baker - December 18, 2012

2013 is going to be a year for me to finish some quilts that have been put on hold and start projects that I just “want ” to do. No rush of deadlines this year. Both cabinets are beautiful but I would prefer one in white.

  478. Barbara Teter - December 18, 2012

I am just starting to try to quilt and I really want to
learn, I have been sewing all my life but just decided I
wanted to take the plunge, and I, too, am limited in
space, this cabinet would be perfect for my sewing
area. White. and thanks for giving me the chance.
    Bonnie

  486. Jan Gibson - December 18, 2012

I am just beginning to learn how to quilt. this is my second year and I am getting more confident. However I need more organization and I feel the cabinet would help so much. My sewing room is on the darker side so the white cabinet would help a lot. Thanks for giving such a wonderful prize.

  487. Mary Bertsch - December 18, 2012

I recently took a free motion class, so my 2013 goal is practice, practice, practice. I would love to have at least ONE quilt I can say was made completely by me start to finish. The white cabinet would be wonderful. Thank you for great fabric 7 supplies reasonably priced.

  488. Sharon Bedard - December 18, 2012

We have lived over 1500 miles apart before I retired and we are now making memories that will live beyond her lifetime through her quilts.

  489. Amanda Best - December 18, 2012

I really like the white cabinet.

  492. Sharon Grow - December 18, 2012

My husband just made me a quilting room and I’m setting up the sewing ,stash and cutting areas. A white cabinet would be perfect.
Now that I can sew/quilt without putting everything out of sight when a sewing session is done, I am hoping to actually quilt the quilt tops I have finished.

  493. Gwynette Thacker - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to learn at least one new technique … paper piecing is first on my list. I would so love to win this cabinet so I don’t have to use my kitchen table when quilting. Such a pain to have to put everything away and then having to drag it out and get set up all over again before I can start quilting.
My color preference would be the white Sewnatra.

  511. Joyce Lewin - December 18, 2012

Goal for the coming year, definitely to finish all the quilt projects I have done in the last few years. I am a “topper” and I need to be a finisher. A quilting cabinet to store my sewing machine and with the ability to make it flush with the top of the cabinet would be fantastic. My choice for cabinet color is white, but either color would be great. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year to everyone at Connecting Threads and Arrow Cabinets.

  512. Laura Merrick - December 18, 2012

I have two quilting goals for 2013: 1) I have seven quilt tops that I have completed (apparently I’m a topper) and one goal is to acually quilt them so they can be enjoyed by all! 2) I make quilted teddy bears for my grandchildren. I have two bears to make now for the boys who are about 18 months old. And have two more grandbabies coming in 2013 (a girl and a boy)! So my second goal is to catch up on the teddy bears! I’d love the white cabinet!

  513. Trish Abrahamson - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to have a spot for my sewing projects. Right now I have my kitchen table and I am constantly moving things around. More projects would get finished if I had a spot set up for it. I would like to win the cabinet in white. And prove to my husband that I can get my quilting done and in a neat manner. A fresh start to the new year. Merry Christmas!

  514. Sandra Smith - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish some of the UFO’s I have started. I would like to get at least 5 of them done. One is for my granddaughter which is called Hooterville, another is equalateral triangles using red batiks and candy canes and white snowflake fabrics. My goal to finish this one of corse is next year for christmas. There are many more UFO’S I could mention however it would take pages and pages. I think having the cabinet in white would be beautiful. I wish everyone the best and have a Happy Holiday Season to all!…..and of course Happy Sewing to everyone!

  515. Peggy Dybala - December 18, 2012

I would love this cabinet in my sewing room….It would be my excuse to get the Queen Bed moved out… Please Please pick my name… Everything in my sewing room is old and used. It would be great to have something new, I don’t even have a new machine all hand-me-downs.

  516. mary connan - December 18, 2012

My goal is to complete three quilts I have on the go, then to start a new one for my grand daughters new little toddler bed.

  517. Sarah Barnes - December 18, 2012

My goal for the new year is to finish my quilts – i love piecing and once the top is done i move on to the next
so i have about 12 tops but no finished quilts. So my goal is to finish at least half before starting on a new one. And i already have a list of new ones to start lol including one for a dear friend who is graduating from college this spring and the quilting center in white would be lovely.

  518. Misty Hundley - December 18, 2012

  519. Libbi Urban - December 18, 2012

My one main quilting goal for 2013 is to finish a wall hanging I made for my Dad. He is a cat fanatic and I made a quilt top of cats. I’m having a hard time getting it finished up by doing the quilting. Hopefully I can get motivated and get it finished next year. I would like to win the sewing cabinet in white.

  520. Bernice Friedman - December 18, 2012

wow! would propoer storage help me handle the three projects that i have going now. One, for my younger grandson who faces multiple challenges will be a sports quilt.

  521. Barbara - December 18, 2012

  522. Karleen - December 18, 2012

My goal for the upcoming year is to finish at least 6 of the kits I have purchased from Connecting Threads over the years. Although a new white cabinet would be an asset, understandably it could not be shipped to Canada. An entry in the gift card category would be appreciated.

  523. Mary Jo Baird - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for the coming year is to make at least two quilts to donate to our local Rescue Squad to be used as fundraisers! I love to quilt and sew and would love to keep my machine handy for sewing if I only have a few minutes! I am a 911 Dispatcher and don’t have lots of extended time to sew, so I have to grab a minute here and a minute there! I love the white cabinet! So pretty!

  524. Sally Laubach - December 18, 2012

I would love to win that cabinet and gift it to my daughter who lives in very small living quarters. She is progressing in her sewing skills and this would make sewing so much more accessible for her. One of my quilting goals is to make a patriotic quilt. I have not yet chosedn a pettern, but I almost never make the same pattern more than once, so I’ll be looking for ideas. Either black or white would be lovely.

  525. Teri Newcomer - December 18, 2012

I would like to win the BLACK cabinet for my grand-daughter, Mia so we can work together to complete some of my “in progress projects”. She is following in my footsteps as well as her great-grand-mother’s and aunt’s, as we are all quilters. I helped her make her new baby brother a cozy baby blanket. By the way…..Mia is 6 yrs old.

  526. Nadine Seaberry - December 18, 2012

I would really love to win this sewing table. I’m a fashion student and it’s so difficult to sew on the kitchen table and cut on the floor. I would love to get this to start off my sewing furniture. I think white would be the best color to get this in. Thank you for the opportunity to enter.

  527. Penny Dunn - December 18, 2012

My goal for the coming year is to help my charity quilt bee donate 175 quilts. We donated 152 this year.

  528. Cynthia Bonds - December 18, 2012

My 2013 goal is to make a wedding quilt for a coworker. And finish 2 U F O’s. I recently moved, my new sewing room is upstairs and not in the basement. The white cabinets would be great.

  529. Pam Buckner - December 18, 2012

My goal for the new year is to continue making baby quilts for babies of good friends, and other friends grandchildren. I also love to make other gifts and will make pillows to match a king sized quilt for my son and daughter-in-law for their wedding last year. I would love the white cabinet as I have no sewing room and currently move my machine and all my sewing stuff from a closet to my dining room space each time I sew. It would fit nicely in my spare guestroom.

  530. gail ficken - December 18, 2012

I have a room set up in my attic that is too small, hot in summer and cold in winter. Because I love quilting I moved down to our front porch. All quilters know that means every visitor’s first impression is one of chaos. I would love to win. I am 75, fairly new to quilting and live in a little bungalow. Lady luck be my friend. LOL

  531. Vinae - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish 3 king size quilts, and 2 Christmas quilt kits that I bought on here a few months ago. I would like the white cabinet so it will reflect more light in the sewing room.

  532. gail ficken - December 18, 2012

I forgot to add that any color will do. :)

  533. Doris Steppler - December 18, 2012

My next project is a rag quilt. They look so warm.
Just finished a Dresden Plate table top 36 inches around.

  535. Vickie Belliniger - December 18, 2012

My goal is to dig my way out of all the projects that have collected in my sewing room, once I can actually walk in there! Winning a sewing table would be a wonderful help to getting things organized. White would be a wonderful thing. Isn’t interesting how so many of us have the same goal. Good luck making a choice, and thanks for doing all of this.

  536. Pauline James - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish my many UFO’s. I need to organize my projects, materials, threads and patterns. I love making quilts and children’s clothes. My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves everything that I make. I hope to pass my love of sewing on to her. I’d like a white cabinet.

  537. Bonnie Diermeier - December 18, 2012

To find joy in all that I do. Not just quilting and creating. And, maybe to use the fabric I have to do some charity sewing.

  538. Patricia Sutton - December 18, 2012

I hand sew my quilt pieces and hand quilt – all by hand – my quilts are truly “handmade” but I want to venture out and start using my sewing machine to quilt. I need a good setup and a white sewing table would really help me.

  539. Bryn Seaberry - December 18, 2012

Since my daughter neglected to say that her plans for 2013 are to work on her projects and the table would help, I thought I’d add my aim. I’ve been working on a few quilts which I intend to finish in 2013. I would love to work with her but she’s far away in another state where she now lives. I think a white cabinet would be well suited. Thanks again for this opportunity.

  540. Lynda Morrissette - December 18, 2012

I really would love to win! Thanks so much for the wonderful cabinet. I would love white. I am really hoping to finish some UFO’s and also make some more quilts for charity. Thanks again.

  541. Karla West-Dee - December 18, 2012

I have two goals for 2013. The first is to begin teaching at my local quilt shop. Several people admired a quilt I finally finished this year and asked me to show them how to make it. The other is to make a quilt for Friends for Life, a dog rescue organization, to donate to their booth at the International Quilt Festival in Houston. The White cabinet would be perfect. Thanks for this opportunity!

  542. Helen Shafer - December 18, 2012

My goal for next year is to finish projects that have already been started, and to do a quilt for my 3 year old grand daughter. I prefer a white cabinet. Thanks for the give aways. I like your products.

  543. Vicki Maynard - December 18, 2012

I want to make Christmas quilts for my family and use my newly purchased Accuquilt Go to make this happen. I would want the cabinet in white! Thank you!!!!

  544. Ann - December 18, 2012

My goal for the new year is to complete setting up my sewing room (built on in 2006), put together the Janome sewing stand, open the new Janome 6600P machine and begin the entire process of learning to make quilts. I have been building my fabric stash for three years now, and a new white cabinet to go into this room would be nice. I’m looking forward to all the new challenges this new full time hobby will bring me.

  545. Hilary Stencil - December 18, 2012

My goal for this year is to learn free motion quilting so I can make quilts as keepsakes for all my family members. It’s hard to sew when you have to use your dining room table for everything. Having a sewing cabinet would be soooo nice!

  546. Cornelia Popp - December 18, 2012

This is a beautiful cabinet, something I wish for for quite some time. I love to quilt and sew but do not have a lot of space. A white sewing table/cabinet like this would be nice to have.

  547. Donna Fuqua - December 18, 2012

Next year I want to complete a king size quilt for my bed including the quilting. This cabinet would be a wonderful addition to my sewing room and will help with my storage.

  548. Amy J - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to catch up on quilting the stack of tops in my closet. The black cabinet would look wonderful in my sewing room!

  551. Mary Olson - December 18, 2012

  553. Alice Richard - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to donate at least a quilt a month to charity. There are so many who need the warmth and comfort of their own quilt. It does not matter what color I get but my choice would be white. And it’s compact size would fit anywhere so I can sew anywhere.
Thanks for the chance to win. Alice

  554. Selina kapik - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for the new year is to make my 3 children quilts, and to finish my Jan Patek Reindeer quilt, featuring the whole family including pets. The name will be Comfort and Joy.

  555. Kathleen Eckman - December 18, 2012

Wow! How lucky would I be to win that cabinet! I love black furniture, and a black cabinet would fit nicely with our dining and family room furniture. My husband would be so happy to have the dining table cleaned off, so that we could actually eat at it! I always have several projects going at once. Just finished some baby blankets, and a purse as gifts. I have a batik quilt to finish, and then I want to start a quilt for my hubby. He grew up on a farm, and is always talking about tractors. So I would like to make him a cuddly flannel quilt to use when he is watching TV. Then I would like to make a quilt for my son-in-law. He collects comics, and I already have the fabric for that one. My daughter has been asking for a queen sized quilt. I have new grandchildren to make bibs, toys, and of course – quilts! And so on, and so on!!!

  556. Gerry Thomason - December 18, 2012

Quilting is one of my passions. I quilt everyday. My goal is to creatively use the fabrics in my stash. I have many from Connecting Threads. I have 2 grandchildren who just graduated from college and
ready to begin lives on their own. The white cabinet
would really “fit their fancy” as they are fabric lovers also and ready to create!

  557. glenda Ball - December 18, 2012

I just recently retired. Have been rearranging a room for my sewing supplies. Iam look forward to sewing quilts. I am making a LOG CABIN as present and have a 12 block from jelly rolls ready to quilt. The cabinet would really be great for my small space. The white would go with my little storage cabinet. I look forward to you catalogs and specials. Thanks for allowing you customers to have a chance on the cabinet.

  558. Connie Kinnoin - December 18, 2012

I have a black fabric with very bright colors for a quilt top, my goal is to complete this one, it is very large and would probably be my hardest one yet to make. I would love the white cabinet to hold my 3rd sewing machine.

  559. Bonnie Lindsay - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish a few of my UFOs from previous years. I would love to win the white cabinet.

  560. Helen Petrik - December 18, 2012

I would like to make 12 kids’ quilts to take to Mayo Clinic’s Pediatric Infusion Therapy Unit (kids’ chemo). I take them to Rochester when I go there for my follow-up visits. I would love to add a new cabinet in white to my quilting room to help organize the sewing area better. I’m currently using an old 6 ft table that is a little too high for maximum comfort.

  561. Elizabeth G - December 18, 2012

One of my quilting goals for the new year is to simply quilt, period! With small kids at home, I find that it’s hard to find the time I desire to work on quilts. I’d love to finish three works in progress that are at various phases. Thanks for the fantastic giveaway!

  562. BettyLynn Milligan - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to actually MAKE a quilt! I have gotten the “buy the fabric” part down pat – now I just need to sew one. My first project is to be a biscuit quilt for the grandson expected to apprear around the middle of April, 2013. I would love to have the cabinet in white.

  565. ELOISE HORN - December 18, 2012

  566. Jo Biagioli - December 18, 2012

  569. Lora McCabe - December 18, 2012

My goal is to immerse myself in quilting about 75% of my time in 2013. Getting the cabinet in white would be a dream come true because I would situate it in the place where I spend 5 days out of the week. I only have a small room there so it would afford me a perfect setup for piecing, piecing and more piecing! Of course, I might need to get more of your batiks (which are gorgeous, BTW), but that is a prize in itself. Thank you for being there for us quilters!

  570. Cindy - December 18, 2012

Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year.

  576. Lyn Latham - December 18, 2012

I am a Project Linus blanketeer. In 2012 I made and donated 123 quilts and crocheted 7 afghans. My goal for 2013 is to make and donate at least one more blanket than I did in 2012. A white cabinet would enable me to move my sewing machine off the dining room table which is also my cutting and assembly space. Such a generous offer from an outstanding, customer oriented company! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!

  577. Paula Stanton - December 18, 2012

At present, my sewing space consists of a donated sewing machine sitting atop a desk in my daughter’s bedroom. We are currently fixing up our basement, where my ‘studio’ will be. All creativity involving quilts will take place here once finished, whether made from fabric or chocolate (see website). Finally after years of raising children, I get to have my own space. The Sewnatra in white would be a perfect addition to this area. Thank you for the opportunity to hope that this could be in my home.

  582. Denise Farringer - December 18, 2012

My goal this year is to get some of the huge amount of kits and fabric hiding in my quilt room made into quilts. Would like the cabinet in white

  583. Kimberley Hess - December 18, 2012

I am making a resolution to quilt at least 30 minutes every day. Even if I just go in and read a pattern or iron fabric in preparation for cutting. Being in my “quilt cave” is a great stress reliever. A new white Sewnatra cabinet, would be the ideal location to spend that time.
Happy 2013 everyone! May all your resolutions come true!

  584. Dona Walling - December 18, 2012

Thanks so much for the opportunity to win this cabinet. I’d like the white one please.
Getting my quilting stuff organized will be my goal for 2013. Either I’m messy while sewing or I have too much in my tiny space….hm, maybe both.
    Dona

Oh how I would love to make a quilt for each of my 3 granddaughters. I think it would be so nice to leave them each a quilt that would be something in reference to their personalities. As for what color cabinet, either one would be great, but I guess I would probably pick a white one.

  591. AliceReger - December 18, 2012

  601. Glynnis Farmer - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to make something every month. I have loads of ideas, but just haven’t been putting them into action. One of my quilting goals for 2013 is to quilt the ten finished tops hanging in my guestroom closet and get them donated to Guild supported charities. A nice white Sewnatra table would be wonderful to have. Good luck to everyone on the giveaway, and special thanks to Connecting Threads. Love getting your catalog.

  604. Joan Woolm - December 18, 2012

I would love this sewing table as I currently use my grandmothers sewing cabinet with a board on the place where the machine would go. I set my newer machine on the board. The board has a tendancy to slide, but it is what I am working with today. It would be wonderful to have this sewing cabinet. I guess white would be my color choice. My goal is of course to get projects done next year that I didn’t get to finish this year.

  605. Jackie Staup - December 18, 2012

  606. Kathy Hanes - December 18, 2012

I suffer from depression and it’s been a rough couple of years. I am in the middle of re-purposing an extra bedroom in our 100+ year old farmhouse, so I can have my own space. It’s a struggle to focus everyday… but I do have one quilt in the works using your Sip Of Summer Collection for my Aunt who just turned 83. It’s important that I get it finished for her…

My first project for the new year 2013 will be for my last grandchild. All the other grandchildren and their parents have a quilt, so I must get this last one done. I would like the white cabinet to go into my newly remodeled sewing room. You see last summer we returned from a vacation to find our basement was flooded and molded. I lost so many quilting magazines, fabric, grandmas homemade quilting frames, etc. that a new sewing cabinet would be magic.

  626. Elizabeth Long - December 18, 2012

  642. Pauline McBride - December 18, 2012

I quilt on my diningroom table so it would be wonderful to have such a beautiful cabinet dedicated for my quilting. My goal for this year is not only to complete my UFOs but to donate 5 Quilts of Valor in 2013. I’ve done 3 so far and been able to attend the presentation of one of them to an injured soldier. These men and women do so much for our country and a lap quilt seems like so little for their sacrifice. Though they won’t talk about the experience they are so proud of the recognition of their service. Having the cabinet would give me a place to work on these QoV quilts.
Merry Christmas to you and the staff and thank you for sponsoring the give away.

  643. Kathy Cope - December 18, 2012

Would love to win the black cabinet for my niece so she can put her machine in it. I then could teach her all about quilting so she could help me finish some of my quilting projects. Right now she has the machine stored in the corner of her basement and we are not able to set it up for her to use.

  644. Angie Terry - December 18, 2012

I’m a new quilter so I have several goals, one is to complete the projects that I have purchased fabric for, and the other is to sharpen my sewing/quilting skills through practice and new techniques. The white cabinet would be a helpful “tool” to add to my growing arsenal, and would be probably be the most used, next to my seam ripper.

  645. Linda Baker - December 18, 2012

My 15 year old grandaughter is learning to sew and getting a machine for Christmas. This would be a perfict gift for her in Black as her space is limited.

  646. Lou Robinson - December 18, 2012

My main quilting goal for 2013 is to better organize my sewing space. A Sewnatra cabinet in white would certainly make that task easier. I’d also like to finish at least half of my UFO’s…I like dreamin’!

  647. Maryann Hiser - December 18, 2012

What a way to start out 2013, with an organized, pretty cabinet for my machine. Imagine my husband’s surprise if I got the machine out of the living room! What a Christmas present that would be!!!

  648. Kris - December 18, 2012

Wow! what a great giveaway! One of my goals to finish up some tops that have been lying around too long – as in put them into one piece. I’ll worry about the quilting and binding later but these UFOs are dragging me down. A black cabinet would be great.

  649. Pat Eakes - December 18, 2012

My quilting plan for 2013 is to complete as many unfinished projects as possible. I can not wait to get started. I prefer the white cabinet if I am lucky enough to win.

  650. Susan Siegel - December 18, 2012

I have a list of quilts waiting to be made in 2013 that would love to be made with the help of this cabinet. I plan on making quilts for my great nieces and nephews.

  651. Roslyn Chap - December 18, 2012

Oh I have so many goals!!! I just love to quilt, a hobby my grandmother and mother passed down to me. The white cabinet would certainly organize my stash I have accumulated in the last few years. I have just completed three quilts for my kids and have three left that I will be finishing soon. My #1 goal right now is to do something for me since everything I have ever completed I have given away… Oops, how many times have I repeated that I wonder, lol.

  652. Joan Baumgar+ - December 18, 2012

Hi Connecting Threads. One of my

  653. Valerie Walker - December 18, 2012

I would love to win the cabinet in white to help me get organized and ready to meet my goal for 2013 which is to sew one quilting project each month for family and friends!

  654. Brenda Wilson - December 18, 2012

I plan to finish the fall leaf quilt I have started in 2011 and did not get to finish because my son died and I have worked for a year setling his estate. I also have two tops pieced that I need to quilt. I would like the cabinet in white. It is a good looking sewing cabinet.

  655. Crystal pierce - December 18, 2012

My sewing machine is stored away in my little girls closet. I have no place to leave it out in the open where I can just sit and sew. I would love this in black. If I had a place to keep it out all the time, I would finish her rainbow quilt I been working on for the past year and all my other sewing projects I been dying to do but haven’t had a place to work at.

  656. Alana Kuznia - December 18, 2012

My goal for the new year (besides finishing some projects} is to keep my sewing room organized. This cabinet is perfect to accomplish this. Thanks

  657. madeline - December 18, 2012

One of my quilting goals this next year is finish the quilt for my sister that I have been working on for several years. I finally decided what designs I want to hand quilt it, so now I just need to get it basted and done! Of course, if I were to win that cabinet in black, I could put my best machine quilting machine on it, and get some machine quilting done!

  658. Ashley Schulte - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal is to finish my first quilt by the end of the year. I have spent this year teaching myself to sew and quilt and am so excited to finish my first quilt, a tree skirt. 665. Shelly Christensen - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish the quilts that I have started, there are 3 which I have the blocks ready to put together for 3 grandsons, 1 that needs the binding done and one that I need to free motion quilt it together, then bind it. We moved this year and I have not had a place to sew in our new home but my husband is finishing me a room in the barn, of all places, I thought that would be terrible but he is a good carpenter and has put alot of hard work into it and he is painting it now. The white sewing cabinet would look great in it!! I can hardly wait for it to be finished, he should have it done by Christmas, what a wonderfull husband I have!!!

  666. Pam Sherman - December 18, 2012

My first goal for the New Year is to make a small quilt for each of the victims of the shooting at the elementary school in Connecticut. The site of the incident is approximately 5 miles from my home and I go to many of the local businesses there. I would love the sewing cabinet in white. I would bring it to our vacation home on Martha’s Vineyard and leave a machine there year round.

I have two goals for the new year. One is to sew up some of the scraps I have left and the second is to continue to help my mother-in-law (82 years old) to finish sewing the last quilt she has to make for her grand children’s wedding gift and to make a couple of scrap quilts to use up her fabric remnants also.
A white cabinet would be my color choice.

  675. Alice Archer - December 18, 2012

My sister and I are working to raise money to help fund a water filtration system in a village in Haiti. We already helped a church there obtain the well they needed. We both sew and sell some of our sewing. I could use this cabinet for my “hot pads for Haiti” project and other sewing.

  676. Chris Stokes - December 18, 2012

I am so inspired by ConnectingThreads website and the great selection of fabric. My goal is to create a quilt for my sweet granddaughter, Gracelynn, something special for her to always snuggle with. A black cabinet fits with my decor and would look perfect in my workspace…love it!

  677. Rhonda Johnson - December 18, 2012

My goal this year is to get my sewing room/office organized so I am able to sit at my machine and sew whenever I have free time. This cabinet in white would be great for having one place to look for thread and my fat quarters instead of having to buy more each time I see a quilt pattern I would like to do.

  678. brenda terrell - December 18, 2012

my goal for 2013 is to help others ans do more for others. To win this cabinet would meana great deal….and to help clean up my sewing room…..

  679. Sandy Rohr - December 18, 2012

If I’m blessed enough to win the cabinet I’m giving it to my sister-in-law, Susan. Several years ago Susan opened a whole new world to me when she very patiently taught me how to quilt! Since then I’ve made more quilts than I can count …..my goal this coming year is to make one for my own king size bed! Getting back to Susan, she sews on a folding table and so deserves a permanent home for her sewing machine and I believe she would like the cabinet in white. Also, I purchased the Aussie for my sewing room this past year and absolutely love it, itmakes sewing so much more comfortable for the back….thank you and Merry Christmas!

  680. Jackie - December 18, 2012

  682. DONNA BENNETT - December 18, 2012

  686. Barb Heidemann - December 18, 2012

First, I just would like to say thank you to Connecting Threads for all that you have offered to us the consumers this year! Your prices are totally amazing too!
I have decided to make other items than just quilting. I have been a quilter for many years, but now it’s time to maybe make gifts and sell them at craft shows throughout the year of 2013. I have plans for doll clothes, techie covers, pot holders, bowls, tablerunners, hand bags, Christmas items and a whole lot more.
If I were chosen to win this gorgeous cabinet I would chose to have it in the color white. I have not had a place to put my serger because I don’t have a cabinet for it right now and I have to juggle things around if I want to use it.
Thanks for letting me enter and to everyone at Connecting Threads, I wish a very Merry Christmas!!

  687. Theresa - December 18, 2012

Yikes, I forgot to say that I would love this in black!

  688. Mary Rotert - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish my 2nd and 3rd quilts ever. I just finished my first one and learned a lot! It was fun and challenging, but came out well. Now I want to improve, use my stash, and make quilts for gifts and for myself. I have lots of ideas, lots of patterns from my Auntie, and lots of quiltless family members. The white cabinet would be a very big help in my sewing room. Thanks.

  689. Sally Mackey - December 18, 2012

I have received a grant to make quilts to be raffled at fundraisers for the insidious and incurable disease “pulmonary arterial hypertension.” My guild has helped piece tops and longarm quilted 12 quilts. My quilting goal for 2013 is to get the bindings on all of these quilts and get them mailed to the funraising coordinator by the end of April. I love the nice clean look of the white cabinet.

  690. Jan - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to get half of my tops that are completed quilted on my mid arm machine !

  691. carrie graf - December 18, 2012

  694. Denise Calow - December 18, 2012

Well, my grandmother was a quilter; mostly by hand but in her later years she started using her machine. I always told her that I wanted to quilt as she did but I just didn’t have the equipment to do so. She has been gone for seven years now . . . I am blessed to have a quilting machine but nowhere to put it but on my kitchen table. My 2013 goal is to honor my grandma by making my very first quilt. The white table would be my choice. Thanks.

  695. Debra Mitan - December 18, 2012

This year I have been asked to help make a tee-shirt,I made one earliry for a dear friend for her son with his atheletic shirts. Also I would like to make my grandson a train quilt.
If I am the winner of the cabinet I would like white.
    Thank You,
    Debra Mitan

  696. Janet Rynbearson - December 18, 2012

The cabinet would help organize the sewing room. I have lotys of projects for the coming year of my own. Plus I sew on charity quilts.

  697. Peggy Arbuckle - December 18, 2012

My goal for the 2013 is to piece more quilt tops than the four I pieced for hospice in 2012 which our quilt group makes throughout the year. I would love to win the cabinet, not for myself, but for my daughter-in-law who this past year purchased a machine not only to learn quilting but to make items for gifts i.e., children’s backpacks, purses, christmas ornaments, etc. She uses a desk for her machine which is nice but deserves a quilting machine cabinet.

  698. ruth farnsworth - December 18, 2012

My next project is to help sew together a quilt for my grandsons class project, they made the squares and will help with the sewing. I realy need something to help organize my quilting area. I live in a 12′ trailer. White is the color for me……..

  699. Beverly Garrett - December 18, 2012

I would love this in white! I am planning on making
    Quilts for Christmas next year:)

  700. JEAN NOLTING - December 18, 2012

My hope is to finish my reproduction quilt that I started in Oct. Anew white cabinet will help alot as I sew on the kitchen table.

  701. Donna - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish my Hoop Sisters quilt, Quail Hollow and 2 or 3 Mystery quilts. I think a new Black cabinet would make this a much easier task to complete. However a white one would work just a well.
    TYVM

  702. Erica - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish up two quilts that I started last year and didn’t get to this year. Next, I want to come up with some of my own quilt designs.
My ideal sewing cabinet would be white.

  703. Sherry Huffman - December 18, 2012

My first goal of the new year is to purge and re-organize my sewing space so I can be more efficient in getting projects done. I have a new great-niece due in April so I will defiantly be making a baby quilt. The cabinet in white would be wonderful for my re-organization.

  704. deknits - December 18, 2012

What a nice cabinet! I would love to win a white one. My biggest quilting goal for 2013 is to really practice my free-motion quilting – it doesn’t come naturally to me, so I usually avoid it, but I love the look, so I want to get better.

  705. Diane McNeil - December 18, 2012

I would be thrilled to win a sewing machine cabinet in any color just to have one. But, I would choose the white finish. My goal this year is to sew charity quillts for my church community and improve my free motion technique.
    Thank-you

  706. Joy DeLong - December 18, 2012

My main goal is to finish the baby quilt I started for my first grandchild, which my arthritis has always seemed to interfere with. My precious granddaughter will be 2 this year, so time’s a wastin’, and she’ll have a little brother soon. My biggest quilting goal is to finish this quilt for her despite the pain and deformation in my hands, so I can make one for her brother. I suppose a white finish would be nice, it would match all my fabric.

  707. Betsy - December 18, 2012

I’m pretty new to quilting and have been working on projects for my children and grandchildren. I have some lovely fabric in blue/yellow that’s just waiting for me to turn into a quilt for my spare bedroom. I would love the white cabinet to make my sewing area more efficient.

  708. Sandy Perry - December 18, 2012

I have over run my kitchen table. would love to have this cabinet in white

  709. Wendy langley - December 18, 2012

I just bought my two girls (10 & 12) a sewing machine and what a BEAUTIFUL cabinet to hold it in!!!!

  710. Joey McKee - December 18, 2012

Merry Christmas! Just bought lots of thread from you that I’m using now on a hand quilt that I’m working on for the third year. Flower Cathedral. Would Love a place to put my machine and my legs as I sew and keep my cats out of my fabrics. White would go with everything. Thank you for this opportunity. Happy New Year too!!

  711. Nancy Long - December 18, 2012

My goal is to take back my sewing room and finish up some tops that need quilting/binding. It’s hard to share a room when you have soooooo much fabric, kits and tools…I’m sure my grandson will understand. I will keep a wall for him and his bed when he comes to visit..lol.

  712. Vickie Virnelson - December 18, 2012

I have only been quilting for a few years but have accumulated a large number of UFO’s. My husband has worked hard to clear a room for me to use as a sewing room, but I currently take over the kitchen table to sew. Sewing is therapy for me, I can sit and sew and all my worries fade away for a while. My goal for 2013 is to finish some of my UFO’s, design and finish a Quilt of Valor, and conquer my fear of a “scrappy” quilt from my stash. With having to set up in the kitchen, sometimes the time and effort to set up to sew is not worth the amount of time I would be able to actually sew. Having a cabinet for my room that is always ready to go would truly be a blessing. Good luck everyone!!

  713. Sharon Nuhfer - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to be totally organized! Currently, when I want to sew, I have to put my machine on my kitchen table and try to locate all my sewing supplies throughout the house. This definitely hampers my desire to quilt! I would love to win this cabinet in black as it would look so nice in my future sewing room!!

  714. Bernice Martin - December 18, 2012

I have wanted a cabinet like this for a long time. It would give me room to store my machine and organize my thread and other supplies for my machine. This would give me more room to do my work. Would love the white cabinet but would take either.

  715. Marguerite Namdar - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this in white. My goal is to quilt the 14 tops I have. Hopefully my broken arm will heal and I’ll be back to sewing soon. (after all, it’s only been 3 months)

  716. Linda - December 18, 2012

This would be a beautiful cabinet for my new serger. Right now it is sitting on my dining room table. It would be great to be able to just close it up and hide the mess.
    Happy Holidays.

  717. Denise L. - December 18, 2012

My quilting goals so far for next year are to finish working on a craft book submission, and then finish a wall quilt I’ve designed and started working on – so I can enter it in some shows next year! I imagine I’ll have more goals as the year goes on. The new cabinet would look spiffy in my sewing studio! Thanks for the giveaway this year – and wish you all a wonderful Holiday!

  718. Patty Rhodes - December 18, 2012

Years ago I quit sewing and quilting because of Fibro. I have started taking back my life. I have been getting sewing supplies together again and I will be making a quilt 2013. If I am blessed the white cabinet would be nice with my sewing machine.

  719. Betty Podschun - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for the New Year is to donate at least 6 quilts to various people or organizations. I have been truly blessed with the ability and time to quilt and love, love, love it. I would like to win this cabinet in white. Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

  720. Barb Colvin - December 18, 2012

One of my goals for the coming year is to try some needle turn applique. I love the look, but so far have only done fusible raw edge applique. I’ll start with one block and see where that takes me!

  721. Chris - December 18, 2012

This is awesome! Would love to win this not for myself but for my granddaughters. Would love to introduce them to sewing and this would be a great start to influance their interest. It really doesn’t matter what color. Thank you!

  722. Barb Bryson - December 18, 2012

Life in 2012 was busy with family activities, family visits, and 2 quilt shows I was actively involved in. That meant actual sewing time was probably the least in a number of years. So in 2013, I plan to return my sewing time back to normal, completing a few quilt projects that were put on the back burner. The black cabinet would provide a great place to keep my machine ready to go.

  723. Bobbie Schneider - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish the quilt for the quest room and and the one for my daughter. I would love to win a white cabinet

  726. Louise L - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal in 2013 is to take time to slow down and enjoy the act of quilting, sewing, cutting, chosing
projects, finishing others rather than always hurrying to turn out and hand in projects. My new deadlines are
simply whenever I finish and relish the joy of creating with fabric. I have no prefence for color they both are
lovely. All the best to fellow sewers & “Merry Christmas”

  727. Julie Boyd - December 18, 2012

I would love to have the white cabinet!!!! Just too cute! I would love to get more quilting done and that would work perfect to have downstairs, so I can hang out with my hubby and still sew. I have 5 quilts to finish, New Years resolution!!!

  728. jmniffer - December 18, 2012

My goals for next year include trying a hand turned needle applique project and make some seasonal wall hangings and table runners. I would like the white cabinet. Thanks for the chance and Happy Holidays.

  729. Diane E. Dodd - December 18, 2012

If I were to win the white cabinet it would be a place to permanently place my second sewing machine. My 2013 hobby/passion goal is to finish all my UFO’s (UnFinished Objects)…..either by sewing and quilting them myself or give them away to my quiting friends so they can make them…for themselves.

  730. Lynne Meyer - December 18, 2012

My quilting goals are to finish up some quilts that I have started, learn how to better incorporate colors using color theory, get better at free motion quilting and continue to make quilted projects for others. Having this new cabinet in white would be a real help in that I live in a very small place and having something this compact would be ideal. Thank you for the chance to enter.

  731. Robin Dufresne - December 18, 2012

My goal is to complete turning the second bedroom into my sewing/painting/home office room so I can FINALLY start sewing again! I think I would like the black cabinet for my little Featherweight!

  732. Julia Juntunen - December 18, 2012

I have been organizing my quilting area, but still don’t have a good place for my sewing machine. i would love to have the cabinet, it would make it so much easier to work on my quilts. And I like that it is compact and can be folded up to take even less space. In our small house that would be a plus.

  733. Mary Jane Neveu - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to quilt at least one half of my quilt tops so next Christmas I can deliver a good number of them to the Veterans home. I get great joy in giving their life a little color. If I was ever lucky enough to win I would love the white cabinet.

  734. Nancy Shelley - December 18, 2012

I’m afraid to tackle the larger quilt tops [I have 3 ready to be quilted] because of the small cabinet I now have. Thanks for the opportunity to enter this huge giveaway.

My quilting goal for 2013 would be to finish the Jenny Haskins Heritage quilt I started in 2012, done mostly on my embroidery machine, Now I need to quilt it! The white cabinet would fit perfectly in my soon to be sewing room! Thanks for the chance to win.

  739. Mary Grace Ronan - December 18, 2012

    I would love to win…this…

  740. Ann Jones - December 18, 2012

Well, one of my goals for 2013, is to make over my seeing room so it is more efficient. I think I should probably get rid of some stuff. A new white sewing table would sure look great. By the way , I love your essentials thread.

  741. Jennifer - December 18, 2012

If I were to win the cabinet (I love the white!) it would help with my goal of finally getting all my sewing and quilting stuff organized! I do not have drawers in my current sewing table, so having a place to put some of the accessories would be great. It would also help with my other goal of quilting all the quilt tops I’ve made and put away!

  742. Kathleen Bumb - December 18, 2012

I would love to win the white sewing cabinet, because, as of now, I use my bed to sort out and put together my sewing projects and altered art work. The cabinet would help out so greatly. Thank you for this great giveaway, and have a wonderful holiday season!!!!!

  743. Joyce Whelchel - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to get some
of my current projects finished. I would
choose a white cabinet if I win.
    Thanks

  744. Chris Kuehl - December 18, 2012

My husband has been working on a new sewing room in our basement for the past few months. It’s getting there. I currently have my quilting set up in our dining room. I’m so excited to finally have a dedicated area to work in. I don’t have anything for my machine to sit on; currently I work off the dining room table. I would love to win the cabinet in white. That would not only be a very Merry Christmas, but a Happy Birthday for me as well. My birthday is Dec 24th!

  745. Dee A - December 18, 2012

2013 goals include organizing my stash and finishing the ufos that seem to keep multiplying. The white cabinet would be a perfect addition to my quilting area! Thank you for the opportunity to dream. ;)

  746. Sally - December 18, 2012

I plan on continuing to help my 24 yr. old daughter. To further her knowledge and new found love of quilting. The white cabinet would be perfect for the machine on her Christmas wish list

  747. wendy martel - December 18, 2012

I have had my eye on that white one for some time now and have identified the place where it will rest and call out my name and let me walk through my sewing room without knocking things over. How I would love to get rid of that awful desk I have been using and decrease the clutter.
My goal….has been for some time now is to complete all those projects I have started. There always seems to be a project in the works that need to be put away to… make that baby shower gift, or the quilt that hubby has been asking for, the wall hanging and quilt for the church Christmas fair, the wall hanging for the town’s 250th fund raiser, the promised mother and mother-in-laws Christmas gifts, daughters 10 year camp t-shirt quilt, the “oh my goodness” I forgot to send you a birthday card so I better make you that candle mat and of course that new class at the local quilting shop that I have just been waiting for….the list goes on and on

  748. Kris Riddle - December 18, 2012

I would love this in white. My goal for next year is to finish some of the quilts I’ve already started.

  749. Kathi Wilker - December 18, 2012

My mother was the world’s best seamstress and quilter; and I fortunately inherited her sewing machine when she passed away recently. I can sew, but have never quilted before. My goal for 2013 is to complete a king size quilt for my husband and my bed. I have everything cut out but nowhere to put the sewing machine other than my dining room table. So winning a black Sewnatra cabinet would be awesome to help me accomplish my quilting goal.
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all!

  750. Bonita Greer - December 18, 2012

I’m getting back into sewing and just started on my first quilt, lots of cutting. I just bought a bunch of tools and supplies needed to make the quilt. My son bought me a sewing machine a couple of years ago, havent even used it yet. Been wanting to make my son a memory quilt of his sister ever since she passed away 12 yrs ago, she was twelve. I know it would mean a lot to him which is why he bought me a sewing machine, he’s been waiting a long time for this quilt. I live in a very small apartment and space is tight. Definetly need something to store the machine and supplies in. More importantly, in light of the precious children and adults that died in Newport, Conn, I couldnt help but reflect on the 4 block quilt I was given in memory of Melissa and plan to make one for each of the families that lost their loved ones. It meant a lot to me to have received a memory quilt, I know it will mean a lot to them! So, if I should win a black sewing cabinet, that would be a blessing but my greatest joy will be to let the families know my heart goes out to them with the deepest and most sincere sorrow! Praying God’s peace and healing be upon them all.

  751. Alpha Hawkins - December 18, 2012

My goad for 2013 is to finish some UFO and help my 11 yr. old granddaughter continue her sewing lessons. I would love to win the cabinet in white.

  752. Joyce Mills - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to make more quilts than I did this year. I want to make a quilt to donate to the MD Anderson Ovarian quilt auction this year. I would love to win a black cabinet. Maybe I could even get my daughter excited about sewing if I had a pretty black cabinet.

  753. Susan DeGrasse - December 18, 2012

Would love to win this cabinet as I am getting ready to retire soon and need a smaller cabinet.

  754. Katie - December 18, 2012

Wow! I would truly love to have this sewing machine cabinet – it would really help me get much better organized so I can complete two of my quilt tops! Either color will make me one Happy Christmas Elf!!

  755. Melinda - December 18, 2012

I have several quilts in the works. My goal for this year is to get them finished. I would love this cabinet in black. Merry Christmas!

  756. Joe Daigle - December 18, 2012

Would love to win a white cabinet. I plan to start teaching my young grand children(3) to learn to sew. I also have some new quilt patterns and purse patterns to make for gifts.

  757. Gloria - December 18, 2012

If I win I would prefer the white cabinet. It would help me with one of my quilting goals which is to organize so I can get more time to work on FMQ instead of searching for the right thread and a new needle.

  758. Lynn Pike - December 18, 2012

I would love to organize my sewing room. The white cabinet would
fit in perfectly. My goal for 2013 is to finish the queen size quilt that
I started for my granddaughter and finish the monkey alphabet quilt
That I embroidered but never put it together.

  759. Gail Mandli - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for this year is to get organized (this sewing cabinet would certainly help!). Then — my goal is to finish all the UFO’s I’ve found that were hidden away, and start the projects that never even got started. (Of course, that was my goal last year too :)

  760. Charlene T Baranski - December 18, 2012

I am addicted to fabric and my goal for the new year is to use up as much of my collected fabric as possible and give the quilts to needy people. I would like the white cabinet. Thank you.

  761. Jean Acebal - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to organize all my quilting/sewing supplies so that I can get more done. Having this beautiful while cabinet in my room will make it easier to get set up quickly versus what I currently do. Not only that, it will be a welcome addition to the decor of the room.

  762. Robin Hall - December 18, 2012

My new sewing machine would be thrilled to have the white cabinet & a place to call it’s own. It would be a great addition to my sewing/craftroom.

  763. Jean Williamson - December 18, 2012

My big plan for the next year is to create a hand appliques quilt for my grand-daughter’s first birthday. This past year was a bad one for me so I have some catching up to do in this next year ahead. I want her to have something special from her Nana. Connecting Threads will help me in creating this!

  764. Patricia McGurn - December 18, 2012

I am currently working on three quilt projects for charity and am committed to two more and a quilt for one of my grandsons. My goal for this year is to finish all of these and make a quilt just for me. The white cabinet would be wonderful. Thank you for this generous opportunity!

  765. Mary Kay Ankney - December 18, 2012

My sewing room is in need of a make-over. Friends already stepped in and helped me with a “fabric intervention”. Now I need to continue the organization of my small multi-purpose room. I am tired of having to move 2 things to get to whatever I need.

  766. Gwen Burwell - December 18, 2012

My goal is to move my quilt studio to a larger room that is currently being added to our home, and to complete 12 quilts this year (I have been a ‘topper’ all of 2012 and need to be a ‘quilter’ all of 2013). Anyone able to relate to this ;-)

  767. Karen Thielbar - December 18, 2012

I would love to win the white cabinet! I just bought a new sewing machine that doesn’t have a cabinet yet. My top goal for 2013 is to finish I spy and Baby Genius quilts I started for my two 3 year old grandchildren, although the Baby Genius quilts will now go to my two younger grandchildren, aged 7 months and 4 months.

  768. Joan E Robinson - December 18, 2012

So many goals for the new year in respect to quilting. But the top one is to work on learning how to do free motion quilting. I’ve signed up for the classes and now all I need is a level sewing area…the cabinet would be perfect. The white one would match all the rest of the storage in my craft room. Thanks for this opportunity!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year:-)

  769. Kathleen Mott - December 18, 2012

Just love the white cabinet, I have already got a jump start on my goal in 2013 to turn my spare bedroom into a true quilting room. The cabinet would fit right into my plans. Now off to order more fabric from you!

  770. Janey Cook - December 18, 2012

One of my unfinished projects is a Nancy Halvorsen “Be Attitudes” quilt which I would like to complete on a new black Sewnatra cabinet. I would then like to begin making rag-edged levi quilts for each of my grandchildren. Having recently reorganized my sewing room, the black cabinet would be a wonderful addition. Thanks for the opportunity and have a wonderful holiday celebration!

  771. Sandy Catala - December 18, 2012

Well first time ever and hopefully last that I say it sucks to be Canadian…only for this contest tho. LOL
My quilting goal for the new year is to finish my first major project a wedding quilt. I am trying to teach myself how to quilt and my first attempt well lets just say there is definately an advantage to having someone show you then trying to figure out from a book. It’s like manuals for cars those who write them forget to put in the teeny little steps that are second nature to them cuz they seem to think everyone knows them. Anyway that’s what this Canuck is planning. Merry Everything and blessings for whatever you may celebrate this time of year.

  772. Judy - December 18, 2012

What a great giveaway:) I would try to put my mini fabric storeroom (haha) in order and this would be great for some organization. My granddaughter calls my sewing room, my room of shame….guess I could use a little help. I hang my head, I’m addicted. Anyway, if I should get the chance to win I would choose the black one. Thanks so much and Merry Christmas!

  773. Bonnie Switzer - December 18, 2012

I just purchased a used mid arm machine and table. My goal is to learn to use it and finally quilt the many tops I have completed over the past 6 years. If I am fortunate enough to win the cabinet, I would prefer it in white. Thanks bunches.

  774. Anne Connors - December 18, 2012

I am retired and love to sew–now I have to be near my husband who has dementia–this compact machine would fit in our living room where he spents much of his time.
This way I could sew more than in the bedroom–and finish up my quilt and use up the materials that I have stashed over the years from my many projects.
Happy Holidays—-the white one would be great

  775. Christine - December 18, 2012

My goal is to finish my First Quilt over the winter months!

  776. judy - December 18, 2012

My goal for next year is to finish all my unfinished projects. I also want to sew up a jelly roll quilt to display at the local sewing shop to guide classes for.

  780. MaryEllen Thibodeau - December 18, 2012

Fantastic! My goal for 2013 is finish some quilts and clean up my sewing room, just a little. A White cabinet would look smashing in
my Orange Sherbet sewing room, with white trim and doors and quilted valance, I made in orange and white. Thank you.

  781. Mutti - December 18, 2012

My goal for the year is to finish the king size Friendship Quilt I am hand quilting. I would love to win the cabinet in black so I can be ready to start another quilt when I finish this one. I usually start more projects than I finish… sound familiar?… I am trying to be a finisher as well as an avid starter! Thanks! …and Merry Christmas to you all!

  782. Kathy - December 18, 2012

I have PILES of blue jeans that need to become quilted dog blankets for my kennel! A white cabinet would be a fantastic addition to help me reach my goal :-)

  783. Beth Irving - December 18, 2012

After moving last year & having to pack everything into boxes for a year in storage, my goal is to unpack & organize my new sewing room. It will be a surprise as I unpack each box and discover all the stuff I forgot I had! Would love a white cabinet. Thank you

  784. barbara brown - December 18, 2012

I just bought my 9 year old Granddaughter a sewing machine for Christmas. One of the first projects we will be working on is some simple quilted coasters with fabrics I have in my stash from connecting threads. The cabinet in white would work very well in her bedroom so she always has her sewing space! But then again Grandma could use the black one in the dinning room where she sews! LOL

  785. Diana Grindel - December 18, 2012

I would love to have white for my sewing room to finish up all the UFO’s I didn’t get finished for 2012. Along with all the garments I hope to make in 2013 for the grand daughters.

  786. christi - December 18, 2012

i would love to win this in black, as i have my sewing machine just sitting on top of a table and when i sew it bounces all over. very hard to keep control. I would love to have a cabinet for my sewing machine to sit into that would keep it from bouncing.

  787. Kimberley Gurry - December 18, 2012

OHHHH what a lovely cabinet and giveaway! I have such a small area to work in, and this would indeed be the answer!!! Thank you, Connecting THreads ( one of the best places to order online! ) for such a wonderful contest!

  788. Jean Quinn - December 18, 2012

My new year’s goal is to continue making charity quilts using my stash – that way I get to use all those beautiful fabrics instead of just looking at them.

  789. Nancy Den Bleyker - December 18, 2012

In 2013 I would like to learn how to make a cathedral window – I would love the cabinet in any color

  790. Becky Canuteson - December 18, 2012

I forgot to post my colour preference! White please! I truly want to finish one of the kits for my friend this year. She gave me several Connecting Threads kits for my birthday in November!

  793. Judi Brown - December 18, 2012

I have new grandchildren and new great grandchildren all over this country, and I have decided that the teen children at Children’s Hospital in Fresno are not being given the right size snuggle quilt. Soooooooooo, Leave it to Meemaw, this problem needs fixing. Sure would be easier to get them done with a Sewnatra table in my sewing room

  794. Char Smith - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to quilt, quilt & quilt some more…The black cabinet would put it all at my fingertips to do just that!

  795. Karen Mikoll - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal is to make T-shirt quilts for my three children. I have been saving all of my daughter’s ballet T-shirts from Nutcracker performances, and band and sport T-shirts from my sons. I think they would love to have them sewn together in a quilted keepsake. If I start in January, 2013 I should be done by next Christmas, right?! Winning a white sewing cabinet would be awesome! Thank you for the chance!

  796. Julie - December 18, 2012

My goal this year is to get the quilt tops that I have already finished quilted and bound. I would be so excited to have some wall hangings/quilts finally around the house where we can enjoy them instead of folded and put away in a to do drawer.

  797. Natalie Patton - December 18, 2012

What a dream-cabinet! My husband is a pretty handy man, so everything in my sewing room is hand-made. Not bad, but a little bit too simple. I would be happy, as everybody here, to have this perle! I know, dreams come true if you really want it! If I don’t win, means somebody else wanted it much more! That’s OK! I will try again! Thank you Connecting threads for the chance!

  798. Lori Zachmeyer - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal is to make a quilt for each of my grandchildren. I woild chose the black cabinet.

  799. Marilyn - December 18, 2012

My main quilting goal in 2013 is to finish my UFOs! Other than that, I plan to 1)start a New Year’s Day mystery quilt, 2)make and quilt a modern quilt for a friend, 3) make more quilts than in 2012 (as of Dec. I have made 12 quilts–pieced (or appliqued) and quilted by me.) The white Sewnatra cabinet would certainly help me with my goals! Thanks, Connecting Threads for offering this prize!

  800. Gail Barker - December 18, 2012

I would love this cabinet in white to match my brand new Pfaff sewing machine! I finished a 13 year old UFO this past month and my personal quilting goals the past few years is to get a least one major UFO done. My son is currently deployed with the US Navy in the Middle East and his quilt I started 11 years ago is up next for his homecoming this spring. This would make it so much easier to keep all my tools close by and organized. and it is very nice to look at!

  801. Betty Burton - December 18, 2012

Bought my 8-year old granddaughter a sewing machine for Christmas, she wants Granny to teach her to sew. The white cabinet would be perfect for her. My goal for the new year is to learn free motion quilting. I’ve only been quilting for two years and haven’t had the patience or time to practice.

  802. Paula Jones - December 18, 2012

I would love to win the white sewing cabinet, because, I use my kitchen table a lot. I have so many projects that I have started, so my goal is to finish all these projects. Thank you for this great contest, and I wish you at Connecting Threads a Merry Christmas!!

I just need to be organized and welcome this cabinet to my designated room for creativity. Merry Christmas to all and may the best woman win. :-)

  804. louise uphold - December 18, 2012

My sewing goal for next year is to finish at least half of the unfinished projects I have. There are so many truly beautiful items that are just screaming for me to finish them so they can make someone very happy (besides me). I would also like to teach my special needs grand daughter to use the sewing machine. We’ve “talked” about it, 2013 is The Year! I would like the white cabinet, although the black cabinet looks so sleek and expensive. Actually, both are beautiful!

  805. Michele Abelardo - December 18, 2012

This year I need to finish my ballet themed quilt for a charity auction. After that it will be ballet costumes for a spring performance and then finally back to my stack of unfinished projects. I would love this cabinet in black.

Thank you for putting together a great giveaway!

    Thanks again!
    Rhiannon

  808. Lynn - December 18, 2012

What a generous offer! My goal this year is to make quilted placemat sets for all of my female relatives as Christmas gifts next year. Also, to complete a queen quilt for my bed with 15 “house” blocks…one for each address at which my family has lived. If I should win the sewing cabinet I would prefer it in white

HI I WOULD LOVE TO WIN ONE OF YOUR SEWING TABLES.IT WOULD CERTAINTLY ADD TO ANY SEWING ROM.I JUST FINISHED ALL MY QUILTS FOR THIS YEAR AND LOOKING FORWARD TO BUYING NEW FABRIC FOR 2013.I LOVE CONNECTING THREADS

  810. Linda Raustad - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 would be to set up a sewing room. I just got a
new machine. It needs a home. I would pick black. My room
has a huge cabinet, good for storing all my stuff. I have been
wondering where to put the machine. It does need a home.
The dining room does not need to be a sewing room. Then
I could start quilt for my bed. It will be out of the way. I could
leave and come back as needed. The husband would be a
    happier camper!

  811. Cheryl fugate - December 18, 2012

I have only been a quilter for 1 year and am totally addicted. I am trying to build my “stash” and really could use a nice cabinet for storage. I have made 5 quilts so far. A University of KY quilt for my son who graduated from UK, one for a very dear friend’s son who is in the seminary in Minnesota, also a UK quilt. A log cabin for my sister who turned 50 in October. A quilt I designed myself for my daughter whom is a 5th grade teacher, specially designed with the help of my quilting buddy Mary Lou. And the 5th one is in honor of my dad who is a Korean war veteran, red, white, and blue of course with his Army pictute in the center which I am giving him for Christmas.

  812. ann Stock - December 18, 2012

After the holidays, I will be packing up most of my fabric stash and sewing supplies to ship across the country after my home sells. My goal is to downsize and to spend the rest of my days sewing and quilting near my grandchildren. This cabinet (in white please) would be perfect for my plans. Hopefully, my dreams will come true in 2013!

  813. Bonnie Chalmers - December 18, 2012

I am currently in Australia for Christmas but upon returning home, I have a wonderful sewing space brimming with fabric, ideas and previously started projects waiting for me. My 2013 goal is to become more organized and explore all the techniques of quilting that intrigue me so.
I do not qualify for the sewing table but know that some one will be very lucky.

  814. Shirley Wagoner - December 18, 2012

I live in a 1 bedroom apt and have very limited space. I am currently teaching my granddaughter how to quilt – this compact work space would be so handy to set up and use at every opportunity. The white cabinet is my preferred color. Thank you for this great contest.

  815. Julie Gmehlin - December 18, 2012

I love that white finish! What a great cabinet! I currently sew on a plastic table that bounces!
My goals this year…to complete my 3 bed sized UFO’s.
To finish my Craftsy class on quilting large projects.
To complete a larger hexie project (I have only done mini quilts with hexagons up until now)
I would also like to make a few nice purses for myself.
And lastly I would love to make a quilt out of some of the fabrics I have been saving (hording!)
    I adore your threads!

  816. Luann Mowrey - December 18, 2012

Several quilting goals adorn my 2013 resolutions. They include completing an adorable purple/green crib quilt for a special little someone (Brooke Natalie) due the end of January. In addition, I am modifying a quilt pattern to complete a “surprise quilt” for the Best MOM in the World; and last but certainally not least another quilt – just because I like the pattern and rich, vibrant fabrics already waiting on me – LOL!!!
(My cabinet choice would definitely be black – it would compliment my decor perfectly.)

  817. Cynthia Bowser - December 18, 2012

I would love to have the white sewing cabinet as shown. I have a Bernina and several vintage Singer machines, but I only have one sewing cabinet. My sewing plans for next year include a quilt-as-you-go rag quilt and a scrappy throw. I am also making throw pillows using embroidery of flower baskets.

  818. Judy Webb - December 18, 2012

For 2013 I will be making a Jewel Box Quilt as a graduation gift for our grandaughter Shannon. I have made over 2300 cancer hats and have given them away. Also several dozen lap robes for our local veterans hospice unit besides all the quilts I have made. I would like my Sewnatra cabinet to be in white. I usually am not a contest winner so here’s hoping! Thank you.

  819. Michelle Wynn - December 18, 2012

I went to a quilt class 3 years ago and the day started off wrong with me leaving my power cord at home. Then, I didn’t stack my material correctly and when we did the whack my stack was a mess. I put the project in a storage bin when I got home. I went to a craft sale last month and a very nice lady said she will help me salvage my project! I am so excited to get started with her after the holiday season! This one project put a damper on all my quilting dreams. But I have found my silver lining!!!

  820. Judy McNeel - December 18, 2012

I would love to win a white cabinet–it would look beautiful in my sewing room. My one quilting goal for 2013 is to finish hand quilting my Civil War commemorative quilt.

  821. Jeanette Wilson - December 18, 2012

This next year I would like to complete all the Kits that I have ordered from Connecting Threads and look forward to the new material and kits coming in 2013. I would like to make a quilt that my daughter could auction off to make money for their group that is going to Spain this next year to help in the Churchs there. I love everything about your material and thread. I would like the cabinet in White. Thank you and God Bless

  822. Mary Holman - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to seriously practice free-motion quilting so that I can quilt my own quilts. I also want to finish some UFO’s and work on a very special group quilt. I really need a sewing cabinet, and the white would be just perfect. Merry Christmas to all.

  823. Colleen Renno - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to make a quilt a month for a charitable cause. In the past I have made quilts for Foster Children and Veterans.

  824. Linda Albert - December 18, 2012

My main goal for 2013 is to finish all the projects I didn’t finish. This cabinet is beautiful Would love for Santa to send it to me. Santa, I want it in white please.

  825. Lori Hada - December 18, 2012

I think a black finish. I have no sewing cabinet so sure wouldnt be picky. I want to roll out at least one quilt a month. Sewing the top that is.

  826. Janice Carole Allen - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal is the following. I am doing a quilt panel of the month wall hanger. It will be fun to quilt them each month. I have 12 quilt blocks that will be sewn together and quilted. My daughter is in the Army National Guard, so I will be piecing a quilt that reflects her army life. I would love to win a white Sewnatra cabinet, this would allow me to be much more organized and match my fabric stash cabinet.

  827. Martha - December 18, 2012

    WOW!
I had just started looking for a cabinet as I’m re-doing my sewing/craft room, I’m even considering begging my mom for hers, that’s how bad I need/want one! :-)
It is SO much easier to quilt when your machine is NOT sitting on top of a table!
I would totally pick the black one also, it will match my new room wonderfully.
Can’t wait until Christmas Eve for one MORE reason!
Thank you, Connecting Threads for the opportunity.

  828. Janice Huddleston - December 18, 2012

    Hi,
I love your white sewing cabinet. What I would like to do in 2013 is to catch up on my quilting projects. I would also like to start making clothes and projects for children as I have become a new grandmother this year, and will for a second time in 2013. I want to master in the hoop projects for machine embroidery.

  829. Lynn brings - December 18, 2012

To fall back in love with sewing. Love the looks of your cabinets.

  830. Susan Yates - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to get my sewing area organized and finish UFO’s …..I’d love to have this cabinet in White!

  831. Denise H - December 18, 2012

My goal in 2013 is to lighten the quilting clubs and meetings. Reduce to only one block of the month that will have new techniques but allow friends to sew together. I’m going to finish some projects this year!

  832. candy brown - December 18, 2012

I have only been quilting for a couple of years. I have compleated a few quilts but have many more I want to try. I have been on disability for about 5 years and now I have something to look forward to. I love the white the white sewnatra cabinet. I plan to make quilts for everyone in my family to show them how much they mean to me. Merry Christmas to you and yous.

  833. Joe Smith - December 18, 2012

I am a beginner quilter and I plan to make quilts for my grandsons this year. I am having trouble finding quilt kits themed for 6-10 year old boys. But I will keep trying. I am using a 40 year old Sears sewing machine with 6 stiwches, but for appliquing letters my sister has the perfect stitch on her machine. I love to quilt and I have quit most all of my old hobbies because I love this so much. I recently completed a quilt-as-you-go design for a local breast cancer event. No pattern, just some good ideas and help from Madeline. I love your products and especially sewing cabinet. I would be pleased with either color, no personal preference.
Thanks for all you do and Merry Christmas to all, Joe

  834. Susan Johnson - December 18, 2012

My goals are to finish some of my unfinished quilts and to unclutter my sweing area. This cabinet would help me stay organized. I would love the cabinet in white. Thank you and Merry Christmas.

  835. Sharon Roberts - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013, as in past years, is to finish every quilt I start and maybe some from past years that haven’t been completed. I’ve never had my very own sewing cabinet but would love to have this one in black. Thanks for the opportunity.

  836. Melodye Protsman - December 18, 2012

This year I want to teach my 18 year old son to make a quilt. He’s the first one of my kids to express any interest in sewing! He’s so creative I know he will do a great job. The cabinet would come in handy to store my supplies in one place so we are organized and ready to go.White would be nice.

  837. Carol - December 18, 2012

I would like to get my sewing room organized and finish my UFO’s. I would like the cabinet in white. I think a cabinet for my machine would help keep the room organized.

  838. Michele A. Shearer - December 18, 2012

What a blessing it would be,to have such a beautiful cabinet to store my sewing machine, most of my sewing tools and my projects. I love to sew for charity, making small quilts for children who are hospitalized and in need. I also make baby bibs, and pillowcases for our Veterans. I am a member of the American Sewing Guild, and sew many items to help our community. My sewing room is such a mess, I usually sew at the kitchen table. What a great way to clean-up my mess, and be so much more efficent for those so badly needed projets. Wishing all of you at Connecting Threads a very Merry Christmas and blessings in the New Year.

  839. Dorothy S. - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to organize my sewing room and the white cabinet would be a great place for my serger that I got for my birthday. Also,I would have a great place for all the threads that I purchased from Connecting Threads. Thanks for the oportunity to win!

  840. Alisa - December 18, 2012

My goal is to make a quilt for my bed. And finish some unfinished stuff.

  841. Ginger - December 18, 2012

Love the white cabinet. My quilt goals for next year are to make a queen size quilt for my oldest son’s bed and make a wall hanging (your robot quilt) for my youngest son’s wall.

  842. Helen Newcomb - December 18, 2012

I am teaching my granddaughter how to quilt. I have a shaky old stand that my machine is one. She and I both would really enjoy that wonderful cabinet. I have 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and they all have a quilt. Now, I am doing fun things or whatever I wish to make and also teaching my GD to quilt.

  843. Lisa Arnold - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal for 2013 is to be organized enough to find all of my threads, needles, patterns-in-waiting, rotary cutters, and templates so when I have time to quilt, I would actually quilt (instead of fret of misplaced items). Call me a dreamer! Color preference isn’t all that important – they’re both so lovely. If I had to pick, I’d go for the white, but the black is scrumptious too.

  844. Sel Schantz - December 18, 2012

I to wis to do a new sewing room and this table would realy hepl me get started..I would like the whiteone .

  845. Naomi Burns - December 18, 2012

  846. Susan Bunting - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to make a dozen David’s House quilts, one per month. David’s House is home away from home for families of children receiving treatment at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital for life threatening diseases. There is no charge for families who stay at David’s House. Each child receives a free quilt of their choice to take home. My quilting guild makes & donates over 300 quilts each year to David’s House. If I were to win the white sewing cabinet, I would place it in our quilt show auction next summer to raise money to support David’s House.

  847. Clara - December 18, 2012

I would love to win this!!!!! I have never won anything like this in my life.

  848. Karen Molyneux - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to create quilts from the stash in my sewing room which needs a really nice sewing cabinet to make the quilting easier.

  849. Celia stephens - December 18, 2012

I love your catalog. I love your threads.

  850. Lisa Edwards - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to finish all of my half finshed quilt projects. Start and complete the quilt kit I purchased for my daughter over three years ago. Pratice free-motion quilting so that I can quilt my own quilts. Set up a small sewing room to keep my sew machine and supplies so I don’t have to fold up and put away each time everything would have a home. The black cabinet would work great.

  851. Rita Goshorn - December 18, 2012

my goal for the coming years is to make seasonal runners for my entry table for each month, so i’ll have a little different look all the time. love the little table and all its attributes … it would be just right in white. thanx for the chance to win this

  852. Mary Gillette - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to get all my fabric together in one place. Most of it has been in storage for over 3 years while my husband went through seminary. I have a lot of quilts to make. And I would love to win the white cabinet.

  853. Gail Thomas - December 18, 2012

I have just moved into a 400sq ft space and hope to get organized so I can continue my sewing and quilting and get caught up on all my unfinished projects and start new ones. Both of the cabinets are beautiful, but the white would probably fit in my space better.
    Merry Christmas

  854. Jean - December 18, 2012

I would love to get organized and finish UFO,no better way that a new black cabinet for me to look at and say from CONNECT THREADS.

  855. Betty Gosewehr - December 18, 2012

I have only been quilting since January of this year. My goal for 2013 is to learn more about quilting and embrodery. Having this sewing cabinet would mean so much to me. I’d like the white one.

  856. Ann M. Fuller - December 18, 2012

For the 2013 year I want to catch up and finish all or most of the projects and kits I have purchased over the years, then with a clear conscience I can buy some more kits for 2014. If I was lucky enough to win I would choose the black cabinet.

  857. Barbara Leatherman - December 18, 2012

My quilting goal is to finish all my ufos. A new white table is just what I need to help me get organized. I need a small table because I have no room for a bigger one.

  858. Colleen Taylor - December 18, 2012

My main quilting goal this year is to sort through my kits and works in progress and make time to get them done. If I were to win the cabinet I would like it in Black. Thank you for the opportunity!

  859. Kathy Wilson - December 18, 2012

To win the white cabinet would be an absolute thrill. Have spent the most of the fall, decluttering, giving away alot of stash, and painting walls to a spare bedroom/sewing space. So my goal is to continue with passing on the majority of the stash and to make quilts for the WSQ guild charity “Mountain of Quilts”.

  860. Judy - December 18, 2012

Thanks for the chance to win! My main goal in 2013 is to concentrate on making new quilts and quilted projects for family, instead of concentrating on my etsy shop so much. I like the white cabinet the best!

  861. Linda Arcand - December 18, 2012

Hello There, My goals for 2013 are to learn 3 new techniques and put them to use in a queen sized quilt. I will also start and finish my favorite McKenna Ryan quilt. I would love to win the white cabinet. Peace and Joy to all!

  862. Chris Brounshidle - December 18, 2012

My goal for next year is to finish some of my ufo’s and get my sewing room into shape. A white little cabinet would be perfect for my Singer featherweight.

  863. Jo Lamb - December 18, 2012

I love to sew, but quilting is a new venture for me. My goal for the coming year is to complete a quilt. I love the looks of the Sewnatra and the WHITE one would be perfect in my sewing rm. Thanks for the contest and all the beautiful fabric you offer on your website.

  864. Boni McClaren - December 18, 2012

My goal is to setup a little sewing area with a nice sewing cabinet for my 11 year old daughter has a place to sew. She is very interested in sewing and needs a small space that she can work in. It would be a dream come true my crafty daughter. A white cabient would look lovely with her bedroom furniture.

  865. Lorene Scheidt - December 18, 2012

My goal for the year 2013 is to make quilts for the senior center in town, to make a lap quilt for a sick friend and to start and maybe finish quilts for my two children as wedding quilts. (hopefully they will both need them soon!) I would love to win the white cabinet, but would enjoy either one of them. I am building a new home and have been looking for ideas for my sewing room. This would help a lot! Thanks for the contest!

  866. Carole Baldwin - December 18, 2012

My goal is to make a memorial quilt with a picture of my brother who passed away suddenly in November. Too bad your contest is only for USA residents! I have been looking for a cabinet for my sewing machine.
    All the best for 2013.

  867. Janet Kershner - December 18, 2012

2013 is going to be the greatest year yet. I just received the benefit of a whole room to my quilting needs. I have a quilt wall and am ready to put into action some of my designs. My goal for the year is to complete some of the quilts I have been dying to do, including learning landscape quilting. I would love to have that white one!!!

  868. Amanda Rudnick - December 18, 2012

My quilting goals for 2013? I plan on starting a pattern that I have oogled for years; working on a wall hanging for 2 of my girls and a full size quilt for my 3rd daughter …. I owe her one. These are on top of the 3 charity/auction quilts I do each year. Throw in the occassional UFO and intriguing pattern and im back to sooooo much fun and only 12 months!!! I would love the cabinet in either color, but would really enjoy the black one the most.

  869. Pamela Werth - December 18, 2012

My goal this year is to finish up quilts that i have started..and work from my stash… If i win the cabinet, i would love a white one..

  870. Marion Wiseman - December 18, 2012

I have ordered several quilt kits and threads from your company and I have never been disappointed because the quilts turned out just beautiful (two for my grandsons). The material is a pleasure to work with. My goal in the new year is to order more kits. Thanks so much for the selection in material.

  871. Pat Crisp - December 18, 2012

I am like most other quilters, I want to organize and complete unfinished projects. An organized room should help do just that and allow even more projects. The black one would look great.

  872. Elzien Schopman - December 18, 2012

I would be happy with anything ! My sewing machine is 33 years old I used to sew all my daughters clothes and now we are expecting our first grandchild so really looking forward to sewing again .

  874. Belinda Vogel - December 18, 2012

I plan on continuing teaching classes and clubs at Mes Amis Quilt Shop and teaching the Young Homemakers club in 2013, Also I am already looking onto all the new projects and quilts I can bring to them to teach each month. I plan to redo 3 of my 5 grandsons rooms…quilts…curtains…wall hangings etc. And I also want to redo the room where the grandkids stay when then come over for the night…with lots of fun quilts and pillowcases……if I won the cabinet I would like it in white…..I really love your Essentials thread…could live without it!!!

  875. Maria Goetz - December 18, 2012

My goal for the year is to set aside time to learn how to quilt.

  876. Pier Sledge - December 18, 2012

I love Connecting Threads! My goal for 2013 is to re-make my daughters quilt. She lost her quilt while moving and she was heartbroken. I had written a special message on the quilt just for her, words of wisdom. I would love to win a white cabinet. It would give me my own space to make quilts and be totally organized. Thank you for this contest!

  877. Cathy Sardis - December 18, 2012

My goal for 2013 is to teach my daughter to quilt. She had already asked me to show her how to sew but I do mot have a table to put a sewing machine on the sewing cabinet in black would be a big help. And then we can work on projects together. Thank you and Merry Christmas

  878. Marilyn Vincent - December 18, 2012

I have several UFOs that I would like to finish and a couple of purses to make for friends. I also have several embroidery projects awaiting me. Would love the cabinet in either color but if I have to choose, I’ll pick the white one

  879. Debbie s - December 18, 2012

I hope to finally pick a quilt pattern for my queen sized bed and complete the quilt. Finished my daughters full size quilt made from her high school t shirts this year. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately I had to make a few quilts for sick people this year too. Hopefully I won’t have to do that next year. I don’t have copious time to sew, as I teach, but I am hoping a group of quilters might approach those families in Sandy Hook and offer to make them memorial quilts for those sweet babies. Id love to work on some. My sewing and school work area are the same, so I’d love a cabinet to keep my sewing stuff separated from school materials.
    Happy New Year fellow quilters.

  880. Lynn - December 18, 2012

My boss has been dropping hints for a few years now, how he is the only person that dosen’t have a quilt in his life. I never really took him to serious but word has it that he would love one of my quilts. So that is my 2013 goal. New white cabnet would be a great way to start 2013 instead of my rummage sale find. Thanks.

  881. Penny - December 18, 2012

My goal in 2013 is to thin out my stash and sew some of the quilt kits I’ve been collecting. I’d love this cabinet in white!
