My newest collection… Botanical Beauty

I’m pretty excited that Botanical Beauty is finally out!  Last spring I went to the Rhododendron Gardens here in Portland, and was simply taken away.  It’s a hidden gem of a garden, and right around Mother’s Day is when the rhododendrons, as well as many of the other flowers, are in full bloom.  It’s such a beautiful sight.  I was instantly inspired by all the surrounding beauty, so when I started designing this collection I was filled with ideas.

I really love the focal print Eden, and wanted to pack in the entire garden into one print.  The focal with the blue ground is Portland on a nice sunny day, while with the grey ground, the flowers still pop even if it’s an overcast day.  We here in Portland need to see the colors in all types of weather. Ha ha!  I had a lot of fun choosing this palette too, I wanted it modern and contemporary, yet friendly to all.

I also love how all the prints interact with each other.  To quote Shannon from QWU “they’re pretty yet modern and graphic as well”.  A nice, friendly variety.  Some of my favorites are  Flower Clusters to Arbor to Faux Linen… I just love how they all relate to each other.

I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I do.

I really love this new, aptly-named collection, and plan to purchase it soon! What does it say about me as a Portlander that I enjoy the grey background as much as (or more than) the blue?! LOL

    Hi Lindsey,
I’m so glad you love it too! It’s funny, because the gray color way is actually my favorite too. ha ha! Not sure what that says about us, but i’ll take it. ha ha!

Eden must have sold out quickly! I would have loved to buy some yardage of it.
