The finalists for our Fabric Design Contest have submitted their secondary designs, so while we get them ready to be judged, we thought we would share the designs with you and a little bit about the designer…

Meet Lee Heinrich, designer of “Kaleidoscope Lane”

Lee Heinrich is a graphic designer. She lives in Mequon, Wisconsin, with her husband and two daughters, ages 5 and 2. She started sewing about 4 years ago, shortly after leaving her job to stay home with her oldest daughter. She taught herself to quilt and instantly fell in love with it.

Lee blogs about her sewing and quilting projects at http://freshlypieced.blogspot.com. Her work has been featured in Fat Quarterly, the Moda Bake Shop, Modern Day Quilts, Gen X Quilters, and Sew Mama Sew.

What a great line! It takes such a great eye to make the supporting prints just as vibrant and fun as the focus print. I already can think of so many ways to use them!
