Mackenzie’s Wish Baby Quilt Kits

I’ve finished my quilt top made from the Makenzie’s Wish Baby Quilt Brown Kit and it is definitely one of my favorite quilts I have ever done!

I love the soft but cheery colors of our Sunny Day Flannel collection and combined with Kristin’s design of fun pinwheels and flower appliqué it makes me think spring every time I look at it (and goodness knows I need something spring-like to look at since it’s been so slow to arrive this year).  Kristin’s pattern is very easy to follow and very quick to finish.  She has you start with the middle appliqué row (I used fusible appliqué and did a machine blanket stitch around the flowers) and build out from there row by row.  “Baby Quilt” is in the title of the kit but I really think any young lady would love to snuggle up under this quilt while reading or watching TV!

    Gorgeous!!
Not sure on the brown but that could just be in the photography.
How come no one did quilts when I had my three kids.
I would have loved to get a quilt like this.
Oh well I can keep wishing, maybe with the grandchildren. LOL But then I’ll be doing the stitching. LOL
    Love the quilt!
