Sewing the Long Shorts Pattern in our Liberty for All Fabric

Here at Connecting Threads, we get the pleasure of testing and sewing patterns for photography. I sewed these for my 2-year old daughter, Hannah, in the Liberty for All! fabrics. I’m not a garment sewer, but this pattern by Sewing Sue is a quick and easy project that even I could follow. The pockets on the sides are perfect for collecting little treasures, and the easy elastic band makes for a comfortable fit. You can download the pattern here.

Alison from our sister company, KnitPicks, was kind enough to bring in her son Nate to model. He’s so cute modeling these shorts– such a little ham with that giant smile! We were thrilled with the outcome of these photos. Aren’t these shots adorable?!

I also love how this shorts pattern has you make two pairs with the fabrics swapped. Liberty for All! fabric really made these cute shorts a perfect fit for summertime. Don’t you agree?
