Knotty Travel Tissue
10.21.2013

This is always a great idea for stocking stuffers, guild gifts, quilt group gifts, or any occasion gift.. a travel tissue holder! This is a double treat because it’s mega quick to make (it took me 15 minutes!), and this is an early reveal of our new collection, Spring Terrace and will be available tomorrow online!

Cut: two 4″ squares and three 4″ x 5-3/4″ pieces.

Fold and press: two 4″ squares and two 4″x 5-3/4″ rectangles. Lay the pressed pieces out as shown with the folded sides facing to the center and the raw edges facing outward.

Lay one side piece on the base rectangle first. Then lay the lower piece on next. The raw edges should all be facing the perimeter.

Lay the third piece on top of the second piece.

Lay the forth piece on and tuck the right end under the first piece.

Sew a 1/4″ all the way around the perimeter.

Almost done!!!

Turn your tissue holder right side out…

Fill with travel tissue size Kleenex and you’re ready to give it away!!!  Wahoo!

I love this, much cuter than the old style of tissue holders. And the fabrics make it shine!!
