Here is my completed June Little Quilt! Wahoo! All quilted and looking nice. I really love this quilt and its versatility. There are many ways you can go with color and fabric choices and this is just one. To access the June Little Quilt Kit click here. To download the June Little Quilt Patterns click here! Now, let’s get started…
This is where we ended with all the rows constructed and laid out in a gradation order, ready to be sewn together. I love the fact that this quilt does not require any matching of seams. This pattern is perfect for a beginning quilter for that reason.
Then the rows were sewed into pairs and laid out again to keep the order in tact.
Then pairs were sewn together in pairs making three sets of four rows.
Finally, all rows sewn together. This is when I found my mistake. I knew it was way too wide. I used twice as many fabrics as the pattern called for but still cut the same amount of pieces required in the pattern from each fabric. Silly me!
So I just cut off one end leaving a 1/4″ seam allowance and voila’!
Borders are added and now the quilting begins…
My finished Little Quilt all quilted and bound. Lovely!
