Introducing Line Dried + A Giveaway!
5.6.2015

Thank you so much to everyone who entered our Line Dried Giveaway! The contest is now closed and our winners have been emailed. If you didn’t win but would still like to get your hands on some of these lovely fabrics, click here to shop!

AP15_LineDried_Bolt

Line Dried is a new collection by Connecting Threads that is crisp, fresh, and perfect for warm, sunny days spent sipping lemonade on your back porch. Inspired by the new blooms of spring, this mixture of 29 florals, checks and buttons work stunningly together to produce beautiful quilts and other projects while bringing a modern twist on a classic style. Though I am usually more attracted to the colder seasons and their basic color palettes, I can’t help but wish I was wrapped in something from this collection.

Trip Around the World Quilt Kit from the Line Dried collection

My personal favorite kit in this collection is the Morning Sunshine Quilt Kit by Kristin Gassaway. The colors play off of each other wonderfully and when brought together, the almost-kaleidoscopic end result will instantly catch the glances of anyone passing by.

The full view of Morning Sunshine.

I have been eyeing the Tulip Walker Tote for a family member, as well. It attaches to a walker frame comfortably, making magazines or projects readily accessible (it even has a smaller pocket for storing glasses or remotes). Best of all, the pattern for this project is free!

Tulip Walker Tote

There are endless possibilities with what you could create with this collection and there is tons of inspiration you can find throughout our website.  I personally think that the AJ Bag Pattern by Stephanie Dunphy would be an amazing pattern for this group.

Another fun choice would be the Seaside Pattern by Jaybird Quilts. The fresh, modern design would pair magnificently with this collection’s updated vintage-inspired prints.

Now that you’ve seen what I want to make from this lovely collection, I’m dying to know what you would sew! Post which kit or pattern you would love to make with these darling fabrics, and be entered to win a fat quarter sampler!
