Indigo Patchwork Room Makeover: Part 1

7 comments » fabric

My mother recently moved, which naturally was a perfect excuse to redo her home décor.  Always a fan of the bright, Dutch blue look, the new Indigo Patchwork collection was just the ticket to revitalize her living room. Combining my love for decorating and her sewing skills, we mapped out a master plan, which included new curtains, pillows, artwork and knickknacks. After a plethora of eBay scouring and hours of sewing, the room is starting to take shape!

Thank you, eBay, for this gorgeous collection of plates! The group will display together on a wall as a single art piece.

These pillows are so delightful I might have to move back in with my mom!

The pillows look lovely with the colbalt blue glassware I bought for my  mom on a European adventure years ago. Yes, I am the best daughter ever!

Can you and your mom come to my house when you’re done? I could use some help too!

How clever to use an Asian inspired collection to complement the Dutch dishes. They go very well together!
