Ho ho ho Christmas Banner

Ho Ho Ho Christmas time is coming don’t ya know! We’ve made it to week four of our 12 Weeks of Christmas countdown, and so far we’ve seen a beautiful embroidered pillow and two super cute applique pillows. I thought I’d make something a little bit different.  I love the holidays and I’m only too happy to shout it out loud and proud. My work cubicle is already decorated, ready and waiting for the best time of the year. To keep with this theme I made a holiday banner so everyone knows how I feel.

This year I’m planning a gold and red theme. I’m using fabrics from our Holiday Elegance collection.

This is pretty much a “NO SEW” project. It’s really all about embellishment. Of course what you choose to do for embellishment is entirely up to you. I sewed – On the machine of course…

Yes that is blanket stitch done the opposite way to how I applique. I tried it the traditional way, but it really just disappeared. So I got a little creative.

If you decide to participate in our Christmas fun, we would LOVE to see how your projects turn out. If you’re on Pinterest, upload your picture and tag it with #12WOC. Any images with that tag on them will be seen by our team and re-pinned to our board! Of course, we would also love to see your pictures on our Facebook wall!”
