Gifty Galore – Project 7

ATTopper Glam shot 2

Hi! I’m Christine Conner with Amélie Scott Designs. I am so excited to be part of the Gifty Galore Program. I have designed an raw edge appliqué, Autumn Table Topper with 6 fall leaves to choose from. You can use 1 leaf over and over, or have 6 different leaves. Super easy, quick, and fun to make.

Of course, I love my embroidery machine, so I had to create a digitized version of this same project for those of you who have embroidery machines. The digital files are multi-formated for all major machine brands. The largest design is the aspen leaf at 4.5” x 6.2” or 115 mm x 158 mm. The smallest design is the gum leaf at 4.5” x 4.71” or 115 mm x 120 mm. Remember, that is design size, not hoop size. All designs fit in a 150 mm x 240 mm hoop easily.

We also have 3 videos to help you out if you are new to sewing. We have a video on free motion quilting, one on how to appliquéing around the leaves, and one on binding the table topper. Our company is a family run business, with two young adults, and we are really into making Youtube videos these days. My son, our Editing Over-Lord (as he sometimes likes to refer to himself) likes to make fun of his mom on these videos. A lot of people find his comments hilarious, so we leave them on the videos. Our channel is http//www.youtube.com/ameliescott

Happy sewing, and be sure to post pictures. We always love to see what you have made.

Glad you like it Linda! I don’t know what part of the country you are in, but I believe Fall started today in Ohio. My leaves are starting to turn already. How’s that for timing! :o)

Thanks Christine! I called CT and they sent me a new file. It’s awesome that you included exp files for my Bernina 830. Got the batik fabrics selected, pattern downloaded, and background fabric. I’m ready to go! Woohoo!

Having something that reminds you of home is always a good thing. I wish Ohio would get a good Tex Mex restaurant, but then it would be called Ohio Mex? That doesn’t even should good. So much for that idea. Have a safe trip home.
