Flower Power Table Runner

5 comments » Uncategorized

Bright, vibrant, and lively… these words describe our new Spring Batiks! Oh, they are lovely to be sure. The Daisy Confetti print reminds me of the flowers popular in the 70’s hence, Flower Power Table Runner. Wahoo!

Now, appearance would suggest the inner border piecing is Flying Geese, but it’s not. The triangles are carefully sewn and placed half-square triangles, and that’s the only piecing in the whole table runner! The rest is simple applique and an outside border. It’s a weekend project!

My newest craving is bright colors. Perhaps it’s because I am emerging from the season of cold, ice, and snow, but the new Spring Batik palette makes me want to jump and shout, “hurrah, spring is here!”

I love it ! It is really cheerful. Batiks are the best, and I love to do applique. it is a winner.

Yippee, mine came and I am itching to get started on it. Just used the flowered batik as a border on my log cabin quilt. Looks great. Yep, love, love, love those bright batiks!

I see this kit isn’t available anymore. Can I purchase the pattern somewhere?
