Deluxe Sew Steady Table and Bag Giveaway
4.22.2013

This contest is now closed. Thank you to everyone who participated! Congratulations to our winners: Kathe and Tommye.

Here at Connecting Threads, we are serious about selling quality products that we quilters can stand behind. When the kind folks at Sew Steady approached us with their new, larger Deluxe Sew Steady table, we were so excited to share it with all of you! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Sew Steady tables, they are portable tables that extend the sewing surface area of your table top sewing machine. The tables are custom made for your machine’s dimensions creating a gap-free surface. The new Sew Steady Deluxe Table offers a feature to sew circles with the table, as well as a built-in drawer tray to hold small notions. The Deluxe Table is available in two sizes: Large (18″ x 24″) and Big (24″ x 24″). And don’t forget about the centering ruler; this thing has it all!

Dream World Northwest are the makers of the Sew Steady Table and let me tell you, they are the nicest people! The company was founded in 1994 by a sewing instructor looking for an extended sewing surface. Now located in Eugene, Oregon, all Sew Steady Tables and Cabinet Inserts are made to order in the good ‘ol United States. The fine folks at Dream World Northwest have been generous enough to give TWO lucky people a Large Deluxe Sew Steady Table and a coordinating carrying bag (shown in the image above).

  6. Carol Wadkins - April 23, 2013

It would be wonderful to have the chance to win one of these awesome tables. I am trying to figure out just how to put my machine to be use when I am sewing away from home. It’s very diffcult to move about and have to struggle with the table height and lack of space. One of these would be just wonderful! What a delight they must be! It’s an awesome giveaway!!
Thanks for always coming up with one more item or blog to offer us a chance! I love this QWU site and have been on it for several years now!!
Thanks again!! Have a delightful day!

  7. Anita Spicer - April 24, 2013

I would love to win this table. I have been quilting for a long time. Live in a condo now and have only a corner for sewing, this would be a great luxury.

  8. Patsy - April 24, 2013

this looks like it would be an awesome addition to my quilting supplies. I want to learn to do machine quilting on my domestic and this would certainly help.

  12. Liz - April 24, 2013

Tried to enter but I am not on facebook and don’t think I should be required to join to enter a contest. This company is not the only one who does this to interested people.

  13. Diane - April 24, 2013

I do not think that it is fair to have a giveaway just for people on Facebook! I refuse to use it; therefore, I cannot participate in the giveaway.

  14. Dawna - April 24, 2013

I tried to enter to win but was unable to find a way to enter.

  15. Lynda Truhn - April 24, 2013

  17. susan - April 24, 2013

ive been wanting one for ages. fingers crossed!

  18. Debbie - April 24, 2013

I agree with those who has posted that having Facebook as a requirement for entry into a contest is a very bad idea. Please offer an alternative means of entering this contest. I have purchased 3 se steady tables and ma very disappointed in their use of Facebook to enter the contest.

  19. Maureen R - April 24, 2013

I would love to enter to win – however I do not wish to be on Facebook. Please provide an alternate way to enter this contest. It really is unfair to those who are not on Facebook.

  20. mad14kt - April 24, 2013

    What a FAB giveaway :)

  21. Donna - April 24, 2013

A very nice offer to give a wonderful tool – but I also agree with those not using or even liking Facebook. The only reason I have a Facebook account is because of special offers. I am not a fan – never have been-never will be. Facebook is way over-rated in my opinion.

  22. Norma - April 24, 2013

I am not on facebook so I don’t think it is fair that I cannot enter the contest another way. I would love to win this sew steady table since I don’t own one.

  23. Pauline Bruce - April 24, 2013

I agree with other people, it’s not fair to have to go to facebook to sign up, and even though I have done it, I still don’t know if I’m entered into this competition. I never ‘like’ anything on FB – it’s no-one’s business but my own, who I ‘like.’ So, please give people who don’t want to use facebook a different option for entering.

  24. Janet - April 24, 2013

Another Facebook scam…I choose NOT to use FB, this should be illegal. Give us another way to enter!!!

  25. Andrea - April 24, 2013

I do not think that it is fair to have a giveaway just for people on Facebook! I will not use FB; therefore, I cannot participate in the giveaway. It would be nice to have a link for those of us who aren’t FB users.

  26. suzanne - April 24, 2013

I appreciate you are reaching out to your customers with this giveaway, a nice gesture from CT. However. . . I know this doesn’t sounds like a broken record. . .anyone old enough to understand what “broken record” means? :) I HATE it when companies require you to “sign up on FB”. I would absolutely love to win this item. But I cannot enter the contest. PLEASE allow us to enter this contest by email or phone. Thank you for allowing feedback.

  27. Mary - April 24, 2013

Tried to enter but couldn’t find where to post it. Nice giveaway though.

  28. Mary Engells - April 24, 2013

I would love to win this table!

  29. Sharon Bakos - April 24, 2013

I, also, am disappointed that I can’t enter for the for the table giveaway. I don’t have a facebook account and don’t really want to sign up for one. The table looks much sturdier that the slide-on table that came with my machine.

  30. Stef - April 24, 2013

With the serious privacy concerns about facebook I also find it a shame that so many companies do certain things exclusively through facebook, thus excluding many of us doubters. Gorgeous table, though. Maybe I’ll put it on my Christmas wish list.

  31. Helen - April 24, 2013

I have the table but sure wish they had included the bag when I bought mine.

  32. connie b - April 24, 2013

I would love to win this wonderful gift, thank you for the opportunity.

  33. Tammie Bivins - April 24, 2013

We can grip and B all day and all night but they dont care! Nothing will be done about the ones that dont have a FB account, they dont care about people’s privacy!Mahority rules and we lose!

  34. Marcia - April 24, 2013

    No Facebook for me!

  35. Dorene - April 24, 2013

Great giveaway, but I’m with those who choose not to be on Facebook. I will never join a site where everyone knows everything about you whether you want them to or not.

  36. ROBIN - April 24, 2013

I really NEED a Sew Steady for my Pfaff!

  37. Beth T. - April 24, 2013

While it is your choice whom to include in your giveaways, I hope you’re aware that by limiting this to Facebook users you have sent a message of exclusion to the rest of us. I doubt that is what the sponsor had in mind.

  38. bonbon - April 24, 2013

having had a stroke that left my left hand with nerve damage, and already having fibromyalgia, this would be a great help to me.

  39. Connecting Threads Staff - April 24, 2013

    Hi everyone,
We listened to your concerns regarding Facebook and we have great news! The fine folks at Sew Steady have offered to giveaway ANOTHER Deluxe Table and bag to people who simply leave a comment on our blog. So sorry for any inconvenience, we definitely want everyone to have an equal chance to win. Good luck!
    -Alisha at Connecting Threads

  40. Donna Moore - April 24, 2013

I am not on Facebook but I would love to be able to participate in the draw!

  41. Helen - April 24, 2013

I would love to enter to win this wonderful table, but unfortunately I do not use Facebook any longer. I hope the vendor will understand that not everyone is linked to mobile devices or Facebook and that they are missing a portion of their potential customers. I’m sure this is a great product and that the winner will be thrilled!

  42. tj - April 24, 2013

I, too, would love a Sew Steady for my Pfaff. However, I’m one of those people who will not use Facebook. Some of us stay away from FB for valid reasons. It’s not fair to exclude those who don’t use it. I’m doublely disappointed because the company is located in my old home town!

  43. Mary Ann Mehr - April 24, 2013

Great aid when taking your sewing machine to a class or retreat

  44. Jill Lucidi - April 24, 2013

I would be tickled to win. I absolutely love the table and would find 100’s of great uses. Thanks to both companies for this opportunity.

  45. Beverly Bennett - April 24, 2013

All i get is a blank page when trying to enter. Beverly

  46. Jane O'Connor - April 24, 2013

“Winner winner, chicken dinner” let it be me please!

  47. Maria - April 24, 2013

I love the sew steady tables! Have them for 2 machines and one that fits an embroidery module! Fabulous for small spaces. Thanks for the invention!

  48. Connecting Threads Staff - April 24, 2013

We’re hearing a few comments of people who are seeing a white page when they click the link to enter. Due to the volume, we think the problem is probably load time. If that’s the case, feel free to just leave a comment here and you’ll be entered!

  49. Sally Johnson - April 24, 2013

I would love one of these. All my quilting friends have one and find them great!!!!! My main machine is a cabinet, but I end up sewing more on my more portable machine. Thank you for this gret offer.

  50. Georgie - April 24, 2013

  58. Cindy Pilkington - April 24, 2013

I have recently retired and have just updated my old sewing machine to a nice little Bernina. I’m fascinated by fabrics and how they can be used to create a beautiful quilt, wall hanging, placemats or just about anything! I just pieced my first full size quilt top and would love to quilt it on my own machine. I saw one of these clear tables at the Atlanta Quilt Expo recently and thought they would be great for quilting. After getting used to my new Bernina, I see how this table would be perfect for supporting the quilt while doing the free-hand stitching! My late Mom would be so proud of me for taking up quilting, as she made made many quilts by hand, no machines. I actually have 4 beautiful tops she made that I need to quilt & share with the family. Pick me please!!!!

  59. Cookie - April 24, 2013

I would really like this table-Just starting to learn free motion quilting, and this would be a great help.

  60. Joy Bradley - April 24, 2013

  108. Barbara Jensen - April 24, 2013

My sister infected me with the joy of quilting. I have been quilting for just over two years now and love it! Before my sweet sister passed away last year, she asked me to finish two precious quilts she was unable to complete before her death. It was an honor to be able to do that for her. I am looking forward to many more hours of quilting in her honor. The table would be such a gift to help me in that endeavor. Thank you for such a chance to win the table.

  109. eileen pritch - April 24, 2013

Oh…yes…I so want this. When I bought my new machine they had these but I just couldn’t afford one, so I am hoping; even crossing fingers/toes and knees, that I might be lucky enough to win one from your great site!!!

  118. Matilda J. Wingie - April 24, 2013

  119. Barbara Leaper - April 24, 2013

What a great idea, an adjustable table to make your area bigger and even a carrying case for all your classes. Our Quilt Guild would love to see this! Because I have trouble with bigger projects this would be a plus. Please send one North to Canada.

  120. Barbara Thompson - April 24, 2013

  127. Alison Saunders - April 24, 2013

I could really use this table. I love the one my sister has and it made my sew so much easier. If I win it, it would make my sewing more accurate and I would get less frustrated, thus completing my quilts quicker. My list is long for the number of quilts that I need to make.
Thank you for a chance to win this table.

  128. Kathy Blankenship - April 24, 2013

I am a seamstress who sews for charity and fundraisers. This added sewing surface would allow me to be able to sew faster and produce more for the charities. I also offer assistance to anyone who would like to learn how to quilt. I am sure the added comfort of this table will promote new quilters to keep quilting.

  131. Kathy - April 24, 2013

I’ve been trying to set-up my sewing room between hospital stays followed by weeks of out-patient hospital antibiotic treatments thru a PIC line. Now back to work with less to spend as hospital and doctor bills AND two visits from my plumbing friends have to be paid first. SS (which I earned and is NOT a gov’t hand-out) plus small pensions only go so far. One of these tables would be a God-send. Thanks and God Bless the USA!!!

  132. Pat Liesegang - April 24, 2013

This would be so wonderful to take to classes. I teach and this would make it easier for my students to see when I demo what I am teaching them.

  133. Dina Bailey - April 24, 2013

This table is such a smart idea. I have been waiting for someone to invent something like this. Sure would help in my quilt making so I wouldn’t have to hold up my quilt with one hand and move it along with the other.

  134. Diana Ramsey - April 24, 2013

I went to a retreat and saw one. I asked the lady how it helped her quilting. I decided I want one. Both my husband and I needed surgery this year, so somethings need to be waited on. I would show this table off at all the retreats I go to, plus my family and friends. Thank you.

  135. Susan Schroeder - April 24, 2013

The table would make machine quilting so much easier!!! I want one, I want one, I WANT ONE!

  136. Anna - April 24, 2013

    Wilma Howell

  147. Kathy Stoick - April 24, 2013

I have never seen all these benefits on other portable tables. The circle maker, ruler, drawer etc. make this so much nicer than other portable tables and of course, the size sure makes sewing and quilting much easier. I really hope I can win one!

  148. Rae Harris - April 24, 2013

I am trying to learn how to machine quilt and this extended surface would truly make a big difference for free motion quilting. My needles would really love me and there would not so much pressure on them as the project drags over the edge. I would really, really love to be the proud owner of one.

  149. Deb V - April 24, 2013

I am just learning to machine quilt-more than stitch in the ditch and diagonals-and this would help fight gravity on the quilts when I work on them. Thanks for the chance.

  150. Jackie - April 24, 2013

Sew steady table! Wonderful name for what looks to be a fabulous tool to have! I like the ideas you have created with it! Larger area to sew, drawer to store small notions in, tool to be able to sew in the round… Wow that is fantastic!! A carrying bag to take to classes or to retreats, unbelievable!! Would be really proud to own one! Please add my name to your wonderful draw.

  151. Carole Kennedy - April 24, 2013

I just bought an ancient pfaff machine and
will use it to quilt so an acrylic extension table
would make my quilting life a lot easier :)

  152. millie - April 24, 2013

I would love to win a table to make my sewing faster and to give me more room to put my strips of fabric. I am a longarm quilter and make quilts for sale. Thanks for the change to enter.

  158. Susan Cohen-Pessah - April 24, 2013

Good evening…I am new to quilting. I have been teaching myself the basics and I think this would be useful alongside my 60 year old sewing machine. Thank you for the opportunity. Namaste.

  159. Jo Stires - April 24, 2013

I would like to win the table in order to extend my Brother Innovis 950D embroidery machine. I just moved from CA to UT and purchased a house. It would be nice to add this table to my new sewing room.

  160. Trudy - April 24, 2013

I watched a GF use one of these at our quilt retreat & she LOVED hers. I have been lusting after one since then. I just have to decide which of my machines will be getting one.

  161. Barbara - April 24, 2013

Have been making homemade clothing and items from early childhood, and only recently purchased an upgraded sewing machine. Having just completed an Adult Ed beginning quilting class (60 miles round trip from my home, winter
months included in Northern Maine!), and participating in Project Linus, I would be so proud to be showing off this
Sew Steady Table if I were chosen. Thank you so much for offering this chance to us !

  162. Kathy Peffers - April 24, 2013

A real prize for any quilter for sure. Would be great to use when quilting on my domestic machine giving one the ability to state on the label that the whole quilt was sewn by one person. Without this accessory, life would be much harder…Bless the inventor for sure, Kathy

  163. Linda Woods - April 24, 2013

I would really love to win this table, if not is there some kind of special price on this item? Would love to have always need more space around your machine!

  164. Susan Simmons - April 24, 2013

    Susan

  165. Jackie Baker - April 24, 2013

This would be a wonderful prize to win. This opportunity has come just in the nick of time. While at a quilter retreat mine broke. I was heartbroken. I have been searching high and low for a new one. Thanks connecting threads for giving us an opportunity to win such an amazing prize. I love your website.

  166. Belva Hauxwell - April 24, 2013

I have an extended table that fits my machine perfectly. My sister does not. She’s been wishing for a table but can’t afford one. I’d love to win this table and give it to her. She’d love to have it!

  167. Judy Marshall - April 24, 2013

I am a quilter/sewer. Long ago, I had something similar for an older machine and donated it with the machine when I got a different machine model. I have really missed that table. This Sew Steady has so many great features the other didn’t have, and would improve my sewing space which is presently a small desk in a nook. It sure would make my quilts easier to handle! Anything that makes a 74 yr. old life simpler is truly appreciated! I hope you have great success selling these and if I don’t win one, I hope you will have both sizes for sale soon.

  168. Sandy Armstrong - April 24, 2013

I would love to win the sew steady table to use with my 1970 sewing machine that I take to Saturday Sewing. My husband not a carpenter made one for me from a thin piece of plywood and empty thread spools which works okay. He did a great job.

  169. Gloria Oxendine - April 24, 2013

This would make my quilting so much easier. I have a great sewing machine but it is not in a cabinet so the table would be a great asset. Thank you for the chance to have one.

  170. Rose Best - April 24, 2013

I would love to win this, as I am just at this sewing and I am sure it would help me a lot, as there is so much to learn and buy. Love this site for material a d thread.

What a great opportunity to try a product that looks like a real winner! Thanks!

  172. Pat Verdoorn - April 24, 2013

I have seen these before in a magazine and thought it would be wonderful to have. It would make quilting much easier as the size of the quilt gets bigger.

  173. Jan Powers - April 24, 2013

What a wonderful table. I have had the original table for a long time and take it to retreats. Now I have a granddaughter who is learning to sew and loves my machine and table. Since it will be passed to her in the near future, I would love to upgrade my machine and a new acrylic table would be a godsend!

  174. Kim W. - April 24, 2013

I have been sewing for years but am a relatively new quilter. This would be amazing to use. Thank you so much for the chance to win.

  175. glynda - April 24, 2013

I would love to win this because it might give me the push I need to finally try free motion quilting.

  176. Linda Baker - April 24, 2013

Thanks for the opportunity to win such a great tool to further my quilting skills along!

  177. Joyce Wagner - April 24, 2013

I am new to quilting and would love to have this table to help me get better with free motion skills and explore applique techniques. What a beautiful thing to win – thank you for a chance!

  178. Martha K - April 24, 2013

Would be a great table for my QOVF group. Please enter me in the contest.

  179. Ann Reilly - April 24, 2013

I have been looking for a portable table to bring to quilting getaways. This looks perfect!

  180. Charlotte Halloran - April 24, 2013

This would improve the quality of my quilting, and the use of my special stitches on quilts. The weight of the quilts causes my special stitches tto work erratically. I think that quilting would be much easier with a larger flat surface.

  181. Donna - April 24, 2013

My sewing machine is in a cabinet but the size of the machine will not allow me to lower the sewing machine even with the cabinet. Therefore, the only flat service is the width of the machine. If I were to win this great giveaway my quilting would be more accurate.

  182. Jean Taylor - April 24, 2013

I don’t have a cabinet to set my machine in. I could really use the table to make it easier to sew my quilts. Thanks for the chance to win..

  183. Laura - April 24, 2013

This would be great for my machine (and Me, too!).
I hope I am the lucky winner!
    Thanks.

  184. April Locker - April 24, 2013

The Sew Steady table looks like a dream come true for the portable sewing machine. Often there is a problem as the fabric pulls away from the needle. With this product my sewing would be more accurate. In addition the less stress means I could do more projects that make it fun. Limited budget keeps me from buying one. Thank you for the great opportunity.

  185. Tami Chaulk - April 24, 2013

I am fairly new to quilting since I waited to start until I was retired and had loads of time! I do fine with machine piecing but after trying to do some free motion quilting, I’m running into trouble. I don’t seem to have enough area to move the quilt around to get a nice flow going. With retirement comes a limited budget so to win this table would be wonderful!

  186. Nadia - April 24, 2013

I’d love to have an extension for my sewing machine.I do a lot of free motion quilting and it will help. Thank you for the giveaway.

  187. Rebecca Finch - April 24, 2013

I had a sew steady type table for my Viking, but do not yet have one for more new Creative Performance. I sew on a table in my living room and sure could use one of these for my new machine to make my FMQ easier.

  188. Penny Fraser - April 24, 2013

I pileupbooksto make aflatsurfaceto freemotionquilt. Would love to. Win This table.

  189. Doris Matthews - April 24, 2013

What a wonderful looking table. I’m 84 years old and have been quilting since I retired from public work. This table would help me in my quilting since I’m unable to lift my quilts when they are starting to get large.
Thank you for the chance to win one.

  190. Teri Hackett - April 24, 2013

I thought I was doomed to being a hand quilter the rest of my life. But I think if I won this nice table, I would be more adept at machine quilting. Not to mention more likely to finish some long time waiting quilts. Put me on the list please!!

  191. Terry - April 24, 2013

Wahoo! I”m the new Retreat Chair for our great(and large) quilt guild. It would be so fun to promote the Sew Steady Table by having a demonstration during our four day fall retreat. The retreaters come from our state and states around us and love the “mini” classes we give showing new products and tips, tricks, and techniques.

  192. Billie Beckman - April 24, 2013

I love to sew. My machine is my favorite friend and I need more sewing area, whenI sew. My machine is Paeff 2144. It is truly amazing machine. My space is limited and the steady tablet will help with more accurate sewing. It is truly wonderful to be a creative person with my sewing machine and to share with others. I hope to sew for many more years, Thank-you for this opportunity.
    Billie beckman

  193. Nancy Gardner - April 24, 2013

My sewing machine sits on the top of a cabinet and the Sew Steady Table would be so nice to make my quilts. The quilts pull off the edge and it is hard to keep my lines straight. This would be a wonderful item for me to sew.
    Nancy G

  194. phillip bourgeois - April 24, 2013

would like to win so I could finally get the courage to use the material I have purchased through connecting threads , so I could purchase more. this will give me the push I need.

  195. Karen M. - April 24, 2013

I love to buy fabric, make quilts, and buy more fabric.
Your table is great and would help support the weight of the
projects so as not to distort my stitches.
Good Luck to all of us in the give away!

  196. sandra benzon - April 24, 2013

this table looks like it would really be a help I would love to win it… At 66 my hands don’t work as good as they did, some times hard to hold up what I am working on.

  197. Barbara - April 24, 2013

I do not own a sewing table with a machine opening and would love to be one of your winners for a Sew Steady table I would be overjoyed to be able to machine quilt my own quilts, this would be a dream come true. I tried and tried to do this without a table and I was just not successful and so totally frustrated for lack of a flat surface around my machine. I even tried stacking books but they moved! Thank you Dream World Northwest for your donations and to my favorite online quilting store, Connecting Threads, for this opportunity!

  198. Llaura Clang - April 24, 2013

I would like to win this table for my Baby Lock as I need one for my free motion quilting but cannot presently afford to buy one.

  199. Bonnie Hildreth - April 24, 2013

I am going to keep my fingers crossed that I win this amazing prize. What a thrill to add additional space to a sewing area. Thanks for offering this prize!

  200. Jean Loken - April 24, 2013

I would love to bring the Sew Steady Table to my quilters workshop. Since there are no amenities in the church where we meet, the Sew Steady would be my steady helper to get her done!

  201. nadine - April 24, 2013

Oooohhhh, it’s sooooo pretty!! Matching quilting would be nice, made first quilt by hand :) Had to enter this way facebook connect “not found”

  202. Pam - April 24, 2013

It would be wonderful to win a new larger “Delux Sew Steady Table” to extend the sewing surface of my Bernina, which I bought to teach myself free motion quilting. I always have trouble moving the quilt ‘over the hump’ it slips and pulls my stitching off line as I am not able to grip well with arthritis in both hands and shoulders. The “Sew Steady Table” would prevent this happening and I would be a much happier quilter. My hands and shoulders would thank “Sew Steady” for their generous giveaway and “Connecting Threads” for making it possible. Thank you both.

  203. Karen Nim - April 24, 2013

I would love to win the sew steady table! The larger sewing surface would be great!

  204. Sharon Wynne - April 24, 2013

Have the perfect spot for this if I were lucky enough to win.

  205. Eugenia Read - April 25, 2013

My husband bought me a Brother SQ9050 quilting/embroidery machine for my birthday this year. I have spent so much time getting familiar with it while trying my hand at a variety of new blocks. I have found that the extendable table top it comes with is great for piecing blocks; but it won’t be comfortable enough for machine quilting a queen sized quilt. My point being that I would love to win the Large Deluxe Sew Steady Table and coordinating bag please. Thank you for an opportunity to win such a great prize!

  206. PJ Serge - April 25, 2013

I would LOVE to win this bigger Sew Steady table. It would be bigger then the one I have for my current Brother machine. I would be able to finish off all the bigger quilts I’m making, queen and king size quilts. It would also save me money by letting me finish my quilts 100% fully by me. Thanks for this chance to win.

  207. Mary Reade - April 25, 2013

I would love to win one of the Sew Steady tables, I am new to FMQ and find my biggest problem is the quilt pulling down off my small machine bed (Pfaff), it would be great to have an extension which would reduce this pull. Thanks for the opportunity to enter!! Mary

  208. Craig Ferry - April 25, 2013

Sure would be nice to win.

  209. Mary Schmidt - April 25, 2013

I have a terrible time trying to free motion quilt with it pulling off the table. This would help with the drag.

  210. Vicky - April 25, 2013

Quilting has become a passion of mine because my mom took the time with my other 2 sisters and I how to use a sewing machine. I was only a 5th grader. I continued to to sew and even enjoyed it so much, that home economics was offered in high school in the 9th & 10th grades, as requirements to graduate. Not only did I take the first 2 years, I took it in my 11th and 12th grades as an elective. I took 2 more years because I had that hunger to learn more in this craft. I have a daughter now, name Patience and she is now 21. I started her out at an early age teaching her to sew, then to crochet. She loved doing them both that she took an interest in knitting by getting books, teaching dvd’s, that she is doing the most beautiful pieces that most knitters today do not know how to do. It amazes me how she can just pick up these crafts and learn so quickly, that I introduced her to quilting at age 14, by taking a quilting class with her at Hancock Fabric. Our first quilt class was the Fence Rail lap quilt. We decided if we were going to make this, we wanted to make ours larger. We made a twin size quilt. She enjoyed that class so much that she continued to hunger to learn more, and more. She now makes table runners, and even made a queen size comforter for the top of her bed. We make quilted totes, handbags, and enjoyed the time together as mother and daughter in my home. We get together with a quilting group here in our small town. So to own this Sew Steady Table would be a jewel to add to our sewing room.

  211. Karen Hammock - April 25, 2013

What a thoughtful prize offering! With my limited sewing area this would be a welcome addition by reducing the drag and my quilting time, thereby allowing MORE time to buy fabric and start the whole process over again, and again and again. Just lovely!

  212. Angela Smith - April 25, 2013

What a lovely giveaway. I have this on my wish list and I am saving up my change to purchase one which will take a long time, but it would be great to win this. I have a limited sewing space so the extra room for projects to lay would be great. Thank your for a chance to win.

  213. Marjorie Skelton - April 25, 2013

My family has our own small quilting/sewing group- we teach each other and go to classes (which make for fun girls only get-aways!) My mom’s twin sister is a talented quilter and she goes nowhere without her Sew Steady Table! I would really like to win one of my own to improve my beginning efforts…. Crossing my fingers and thank you for the chance to win such a useful prize!!!

  214. Renie M - April 25, 2013

This is a great product. I like to make the entire quilt, so I usually machine quilt them on my home machine. The extra support would make that easier. It is also a good place to lay out the block you are working on. And it doubles as a light table! I take my machine to “sew-in” days and the carry bag would make transporting the table a breeze.

  215. Vonne Grunza - April 25, 2013

As a sewer, I began by making clothes for myself. Loving the fabric, I saved every scrap, bought a loom and learned to weave rag rugs. But small chunky pieces of fabric were perfect for learning to quilt. Now I buy fabric just to quilt it. I have tried TV trays and a number of props to try to keep the quilts from pulling away from the machine. I have to get the next one done for the church “Gifts for Gardens and Gardeners” sale and sure could use the help of support that this table would provide!

  216. Linda Madsen - April 25, 2013

I would so love to win this prize. I sew for Freedom Quilts, Fonda, Iowa with Betty Nielsen. We give quilts to the fallen soldiers families. We have given over 7000 quilts away starting with the 911 victims families. Your fabric has gone into making a lot of these quilts, as well. I sure could make good use of this table on my machine.

  217. Patty Page - April 25, 2013

I don’t have a table for my machine. I would love to win one.

  218. Lawana Beem - April 25, 2013

I sew on a small table & it is very difficult to handle the larger quilts I make. I would love to have a deluxe sew steady table.

  219. Lawana Beem - April 25, 2013

I sew on a small portable table & it is difficult to sew the larger quilts that I now sew. I would love to have a Deluxe Sew Steady Table.

  220. Jill Branton - April 25, 2013

I just really believe I would this steady table the very most of everyone!

  221. Bev Mannes - April 25, 2013

I have a wonderful Horn desk I bought many years ago. I’ve gotten progressively large machines and now the desk hole is just big enough for my machine. I’ve trimmed my insert to fit around it but I cannot get the surface flat enough for smooth free motion sewing plus the hinges protrude to cause blips in my stitching. I’d like to just put the desk flat and place one of these wonderful tables on top around my machine. I saw them in the Expo and they are wonderful but beyond my budget at this time.

  222. Diane Brule - April 25, 2013

My sister started me into quilting for my 50th Birthday ; I never even used a sewing machine before let alone rotary cutter and all the needed rulers. I have 3 wonderful daughters who have worked hard and I would love to make them all a quilt and then hopefully pass on the art. I have been using phone books so not to break my needles and threads my biggest issue is they do not make phone books anymore everything has gone electronic and my books are looking sad doggy eared so this if I won would be amazing and a life saver and allow me to work on more and new projects faster

My husband will buy something yet another “crafty gadget” if it is a “need” Wow! I NEED this table! All the better if I should win it!

  224. Nancy Kavaky - April 25, 2013

    Hello…
    Sew Steady Giveaway:
On April 4, 2012 I had a mini stroke. Thankfully I have recovered nicely. My husband recently bought me a sewing machine to raise my spirits so as to keep my mind and hands challenged going forward. I have spent a lot of time on the machine and still learning new tricks. My machine has a slide on table and as of late I have been yearning for a Sew Steady Table thinking it might be helpful so I can expand my sewing. Regardless who wins, It is a lovely giveaway. By the way, I am enjoying your new threads. I recently ordered some to try them out. Nancy

  225. Rosemarie Graham - April 25, 2013

I would love to win this ! This would be a wonderful addition to my tools. Thanks for the opportunity.

  226. Ginny Minninger - April 25, 2013

Foe 20 of my quilting years I coveted my friends nice sewing machines. When my husband scored a bargain in a Cadillac brand offered for sale in the classified ads one day, I was in heaven. It was 9 years old and still in its original box. Never used! I’d barely introduced it to its new home when I was diagnosed with cancer. A year of treatment kept me from busting it out of its factory box. Another year of recovery, still left it unused. Two years living outside the US and I’m almost ready to get up close and personal with my prized machine. Wouldn’t it be great to break it in with a super-handy, deluxe sewing table? Fingers crossed and hopeful for both of us—me and the machine.

  227. Carla Gaines - April 25, 2013

I would love to have the Sew Steady table and case. I have one for my old sewing machine but does not fit the new one.

  228. Kay Straley - April 25, 2013

I would love to win one of these table to make more room at my machine and to share with others on a quilting retreat.
    Thanks for the opportunity.
    Kay

  229. Barbara Eastman - April 25, 2013

I would love to win the table because it would be so much sturdier than what I am using. Especially with a large heavy quilt. Also being portable I can take it anywhere.

  230. Diana - April 25, 2013

I love these tables! I have just had my husband make me a long table for all of my machines to sit on and I am looking for a table to fit my new Quilt Expression 4.0, so I was really excited to see this ‘giveaway’! and would be ever so excited to actually win!

  231. Roberta Jones - April 25, 2013

As a teen ager I tried drag racing. Loved it-but I’m too old to drag now. The drag on my quilt is very heavy and a large flat surface would stop the drag. This would make quilting so much easier.

  232. Margaret - April 25, 2013

I have been machine quilting for over 10 years and have not experienced the luxury of an extended table. I have heard so many wonderful things about how the table makes machine quilting better.

  233. Elaine in North Texas - April 25, 2013

This would be so helpful at retreats when I am set up on a table and the carry case is very handy.

  234. Pat chlebowski - April 25, 2013

I would like to enter the contest to win the table. Thank you

  235. Janet fedor - April 25, 2013

Handy to take to camp. I could leave one at home and not have to transport back and forth.

  236. Darlene M - April 25, 2013

I’d like to win because I’m putting together my equipment to sew by the generosity of others. My sewing machine was given to me and I could really use a table for it.

  237. Patricia Martinez - April 25, 2013

I’m just get into quilting and I don’t have most of the equipment need to start.

  238. Nadine - April 25, 2013

I recently saw the Sew Steady table at a friend’s house. I knew right then that was EXACTLY what I needed. There isn’t a table available for my sewing machine, and after seeing hers I knew it would work perfectly for me. Accuracy always seems to be a problem with pulling fabric.

  239. Debra - April 25, 2013

I have back problems and I think this would be a help in easing some of the problem as I sit for any length of time sewing. Thank you.

  240. Lynn Patch - April 25, 2013

I would like it because I’am just learning to quilt so that would be great.

  246. Donna W - April 25, 2013

  249. connie b - April 25, 2013

My Baby Lock that I take to all my classes, retreats, charity quilt meetings, etc does not have the large table. Would love to have one to help with free motion quilting on my projects.

  250. Marian - April 25, 2013

I am not new to QUILTING, but have only made small items like pillows table runners, baby quilts etc. I tried my friend’s table and knew I really needed one to help me with my new passion, which is Quilts of Valor…..I really would love to have this sewing table so I can complete many many quilts for our wonderful service men and women.

I need a table for my older (but still running) Bernina.

  252. BJ - April 25, 2013

I’ve been quilting for over 10 years. Not actually quilting, just sewing tops. I knew I needed to learn to do the quilting, so I started practicing, and now I am doing great at making quilted potholders and placemats. The tops are still waiting ! This Sew Steady Table would be the one tool that would really help me move up to larger projects and get those tops quilted and finished ! Woo Hoo !

  253. Jill Savage - April 25, 2013

I would love to win one of the bigger Sew Steady table. I have seen them in use before and it would my my sewing so much easier than just juggling my fabric pieces on the narrow arm. I’m sure that I would even get more accomplished by having this table.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such a great tool!

  254. Marie D. Suazo - April 25, 2013

I travel back and forth between the farm and the city. It would be nice to have a work table on the farm to use in the evenings.

  259. Norma Gorrill - April 25, 2013

I would love to win a sew steady table was just thinking how much I could bennifit from one especially since I have one with my Janome 12000 embroidery machine but not with my Janome machine I take to classes as a senior I find these very easy to work with and much easier than having to find some other way to hold up my quilting as I am sewing.thanks for the opportunity to enter your contest as I live in Canada and am on this site every day

  260. Sandi Renken - April 25, 2013

This would be great to take any of my go to machines with me to the craft shows I do that need a cabinet to sit in. My go to machines are vintage Singers 500 & 301.
Another way to advertise these great tables too.
My machines attract lots of attention being vintage.
Mixing old & new sounds like a great combination.

  261. gretchen - April 25, 2013

that sew steady table would sure make my life easier because I do lots of machine quilting.

  262. Stephanie Swan - April 25, 2013

What a thoughtful idea! I think this table will be a great addition to any machine. A welcome too! This table is on my wish list and it would be nice to have and something I could cross off my list. My sewing space is limited and this would help extend it without taking to much of the space I have.

  263. Mary Brondell - April 25, 2013

    Hi Everyone,
This is an awesome contest and I join all of you hoping to win!
It is difficult enough dragging my machine to class (I am no young chicken and these machines are heavy!) This would be the icing on the cake, having room so your blocks don’t constantly fall off the side and a larger quilting area. Those darn quilts are heavy to keep pulling up and try to sew. Naturally, I would use it at home. I do have a portable table there but there again the quilting space is crazy difficult to work with.
Hope I win and thanks so much for considering all of us.
    Mary Brondell

  264. Judie Harron - April 25, 2013

I would love to win a Sew Steady Table to use with my 3 Featherweight sewing machines. With this table I am sure my seams would be sewn more accurate. Thank you for the chance to win such a useful prize1

  265. Kathy - April 25, 2013

This sounds like a great addition to my sewing machine that usually ends up on the kitchen table to sew. Having a level surface at sewing level would be awesome.

  266. Roni - April 25, 2013

I did have (notice the use of the past tense verb – ha ha!) a Sew Steady Table until a few weeks ago when my husband dropped it. Yip – broke! He told me I couldn’t buy one at this time and instead came home with super glue. Well needless to say by table isn’t what it used to be and I miss it soooooo much!!! Please register me and fingers crossed, I might even win.

  267. Judy McKnight - April 25, 2013

the table would be a great asset to my sewing room, it would give me more flexability for quilting my own quilts. As well as having a greater sewing area.

  268. Patti Keene - April 25, 2013

I would love to win this because the one I had cracked after leaving in car overnight. It was cold then I dropped it breaking the plastic. Two kids in college and cannot afford to replace. But sure could use it.

  269. Geraldine Frieday - April 25, 2013

My recently purchased sewing machine has only a small table attached, so having a larger steady table would add to the ease of quilting my larger pieces and then I could honestly say that “I quilted this myself”. Thanks.

  270. Claire M Phillips - April 25, 2013

I would dearly love to own a Sew Steady Deluxe table. I have only quilted one double bed quilt on my present machine – a White 9800, which I have owned for over 10 years. I only have an old kitchen table for my machine right now and this table would be such a big improvement also a great help at classes at my guild.

  271. Jeanette Luna - April 25, 2013

I would love to win this table as I can’t afford one on my own. It would help me do free motion quilting on my Singer sewing machine. Thank you for this opportunity.

  272. Marlene Moran - April 25, 2013

This year I finally have my OWN sewing room. In the last three years I had both of my daughters marry and helped my husband through his amputation and hip replacement. It is time to teach myself to machine quilt now that I have the space and the time. A large steady sewing platform for my Pfaff would be ideal. I foresee a few baby quilts might be a useful gift for future grandchildren.

  273. Sue Joos - April 25, 2013

Just bought a Pfaff Quilt Expression. Now have to wait to purchase table as paying yet for machine. Would love to win this one – I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

  274. Pat hall - April 25, 2013

It would truly be a big help to me with my quilting if I had a sew easy table for my machine, I really struggle with my 7o+year old hands trying to keep my work were I need it to be on the small suface there is with my nechiportable..

  275. Julie Unholzer - April 25, 2013

In our area, when something new comes out it sells like hotcakes. I have never seen the Sew Steady table. 281. Amy C - April 25, 2013

I am new to quilting and this looks like something that would really, really help me with cutting and layout, both of which are critical to the end product.

  282. Shirley - April 25, 2013

Being a quilter it would be great to have this larger, more stable workspace for when I quilt on my home machine.

  283. Penny Weiss - April 25, 2013

This would be fantastic to help with my quilting. It seems to be a must for the home. Thanks for the opportunity.

  284. Joan - April 25, 2013

This would be so helpful for machine quilting. Love the fact that it would be made to fit my machine.

  285. Inez Mobley - April 25, 2013

I currently sew on a table top. Thankfully I’ve got a sewing area so I don’t have to put everything away and take it out each time I want to sew. It would be so awesome to have the sew steady table! Good luck to everyone entering!

  286. Winnie - April 25, 2013

Just began quilting. I quilted a queen size quilt for my granddaughters wedding. Now all the kids want one. So I would love to win A sew steady table. My 6 kids and 14 grandkids all want their own quilts. what a help this would be.

  287. Mimi Fridie - April 25, 2013

ould love to win the Sew steady table as I make mostly large quilts and, being 88 years old, I have trouble dealing with the weight when sewing on my home machine. The table would give me much welcome support.

  288. Dene in Virginia - April 25, 2013

I have been looking at a table for my Husgvarna Viking machine…I can not afford one at his time-husband is disabled so I can not afford to purchase one. I do sewing and quilting for my family and many friends. I would be very greatful to your company and a good spokesperson. This is a fantastic opportunity…thank you for offering this to the public.

  289. Theresa D. - April 25, 2013

Wow! My husband would be so happy if I won the Sew Steady Table; that way I would be able to finish all my quilt projects and use up all the fabric I have stored through the house. LOL!! I would love the Sew Steady Table, as I currently use the kitchen table for my machine. Using this would definitely improve the sewing surface!!

  290. Ann - April 25, 2013

    That would be so awesome!!

  291. teri - April 25, 2013

I am new at quilting so winning will be a wonderful birthday gift for me – May 31 is my birthday plus I am a senior lady

I am retired and just able to get serious about quilting. It would make life wonderful to have one of these!

  294. April Sodoski - April 25, 2013

I would love to have this as an option to take to sewing classes or for the circle feature! I have seen some very cool optional trays available for this and think it would be a great addition to the new “sewing studio” I am creating in a finished room in my basement :)
Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

  295. Lori Duffek - April 25, 2013

I would absolutely love to own (especially if I won) a sew steady table. I enjoy going to quilting retreats, and sew days with friends. It would be awesome to have a large surface on which to work. Some of my friends have something similar, and I’ve admired the extra space, and at the same time, felt it was beyond my price range. So a free sew steady table would be very much appreciated. Please pick me!

  296. Alice - April 25, 2013

To win this Sew Steady Table would be wonderful. Thank you for the chance to win.

  297. Carolyn Clift - April 25, 2013

These.extension tables are the best quality of any I have seen, sure could use one.

  298. Kami - April 25, 2013

In our busy world, quilting is the one selfish thing I allow myself without guilt! As all quilters know, it is a grounding and satisfying hobby. How wonderful it would be to win a Sew Steady Table to foster my addiction! Thank you for this opportunity.

  299. Sandy Christensen - April 25, 2013

I got one of these for my machine and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I would like to win one because my best friend has a machine just like mine and I know that she would love it as much as I do. She has been drooling over mine for a while and I would love to be able to present one to her.

  300. LP - April 25, 2013

I have a sew steady for my old machine – but I would like
one for my new machine. There is absolutely nothing that
compares to this wonderful extension for the most important
    tool we use in sewing.

  301. Lisa - April 25, 2013

I have a Bernina 739E with Bernina Stitch Regulator. This would be perfect to help me do fine work with this special foot.
    Sandy

  304. Lynn Hanson - April 25, 2013

I always appreciate the selections of equipment and fabric that you offer on-line and through your mail catalog. It is so helpful to people that live miles and miles away from a shop. I would love to win the Sew Steady table. It looks like such an awesome tool and back saver.

  305. Linda Holder - April 25, 2013

I would love to have one of the giant size tables! My sewing desk is a regular desk from my father’s office. When he retired, he gave it to me to use. (I’m rather tall, so the height works well for me.) The biggest problem I have is that when working on large items, the fabric pulls where it is hanging off the bed of the machine. Connecting Threads is wonderful to offer one of these in their give away. (Their catalog is also my favorite wishbook!)

  306. Darline - April 25, 2013

I would like to win the Sew Steady Table as I do a lot of sewing/quilting at our ladies group clubhouse. It would make quilting soooo much easier for any one who sits down to do the sewing. Thank you!

  307. Pamela Eversull - April 25, 2013

Wow this Sew Steady Table would be a perfect addition to my home. I’d love to win one!!!

  308. Elizabeth - April 25, 2013

This would be a such a helpful addition to my sewing room – My make-do furniture could use a boost, for sure. Many thanks for your generous offer!

  309. Diane Ishikawa - April 26, 2013

How wonderful that there is a steady table to make sewing projects easier. Our little group of “postal workers” gather every other month to sew projects together and a steady table would make it easier to sew quilts to bags to baby accessories when we gather.
Sewing is a special “narcotic” to relive stress and transport me to a freer time of being creative. A finished project is the best validation of time well spent and friendships shared. Your steady table would be greatly appreciated. Aloha from Hawaii…diane

  310. Karen L Kosec - April 26, 2013

I am new to quilting. Started learning 2 years ago and try to get things that other quilters advise would be a good investment and they always explain why. When I make something I want to also be able to do the quilting so I can truly say this is something I made. Having this table would be a tremendous help in quilting larger size quilts instead of having to take it to a mid or long arm quilter. I have quilted lap and twin size but have difficulty keeping the back smooth since I don’t have a larger table to work on.

  311. Lynda Ouellette - April 26, 2013

This would be a great addition to my sewing room. It would also make a lot of tasks much easier.

  312. Joelle Sikardi - April 26, 2013

I am a new quilter. I recently purchased a new machine and was sad to find it did NOT come with the table it was shown with. I have been looking for a table and this would be perfect!! Let me know when I win! ;o)

  313. Sandra Hibbard - April 26, 2013

I was excited to see the offer. I’ve looked at them before. It would be perfect for our travel trailer. We are planning a 2 – 3 month trip & I always take my machines with me. I’m used to using a cabinet so I really miss the larger flat surface. Thanks! Hope I’m blessed!

  314. connie - April 26, 2013

I would love to win the sewing table to make my class time more efficient

  315. Ruth Whitted - April 26, 2013

I just finished a quilt with your Neutral Love fabric and it is beautiful! I do some teaching and make quilts for charity. The sewing table would be perfect to take to these classes.

  316. edith cummings - April 26, 2013

The designer of these add-ons was brilliant! It would make my machine quilting and clothing items much easier to sew on….material and quilts would not be dragging along the edge of the sewing machine. A friend has one and said it was awesome in her quiltmaking! Jealousy ensued on my part…atlas I now have a chance to win one for me. Thank you for having this. Edith Cummings

  317. L Krut - April 26, 2013

I’d love to sew circles around what I have been previously able to do! Thank you for the opportunity.

  320. Pat Miller - April 26, 2013

I would love to win this exciting new piece of invention I am always interested in new things to try–I love quilting!!!! Thanks

  321. Martha B. - April 26, 2013

I would absolutely love to win this sew steady table. I have looked at these tables over and over again, trying to figure a way to purchase one. I currently sew/quilt on an old dining room table and it is difficult to sew/quilt large projects due to lack of surface area and quilt drag. I have thought of many ways to somehow lower my machine to be level with my table, however, due to the type of table I have, it is not feasible do this. I, like so many others, would make good use of this table. I appreciate the opprotunity to have a chance to win.

  322. Cherie - April 26, 2013

This table looks like something that I would find very helpful for my quilting and sewing.

  323. Joanne Heggen - April 26, 2013

    Joan H says,
I would love to win as this would be a wonderful addition to my sewing room.

  324. Mary McConnell - April 26, 2013

I just got a new babylock embroidery machine & would love to have this extension table for large embroidery on quilts.

  325. Christine Gayton - April 26, 2013

I’ve been quilting for a year and the easy sew table would
be beneficial as I need a larger sewing area. Thank

  329. Roxanne Hartwig - April 26, 2013

I would LOVE to win a Sew Steady! Right now, I am saving my money to buy one for my Viking Designer SE Machine. Thanks for the chance to win one and to save the money for something else! :)

  330. Edie Stewart - April 26, 2013

My 32 yr. old Husqvarna Viking has been a workhorse and still keeps on ticking, but it needs a companion—the Sew Steady Table. It has been wanting to do better at quilting and really wants to make the circles-quilts. This table is new to me, and the girls at the quilt guild would be excited to see and hear about it. Thank you.

I would like to win the Deluxe Sew Table and Bag to replace a sewing board I bought many, many years ago from a different manufacturer. It’s chipped and cracked. The Deluxe Sew Table is a necessity for me. The older I get the more I can’t grip the fabric as I’m sewing. Winning would be a dream come true.

  341. Teri peltier - April 26, 2013

This table looks like a dream to sew on and would make quilt life alot easier than scrunching up my project just to get it close to my machine. Love the center measuring and would love to try working with circles. Thanks!

  342. Nancy Truhn - April 26, 2013

My machine is just a free arm, I would so love to have a table like this to make sewing easier and then I’d like to “take on” free motion quilting!

  343. Anna - April 26, 2013

I think this sewing table would be a great help because of the extra space it provides. Thanks for chance to win a very useful tool.

  349. Barb - April 26, 2013

It would be very helpful since I’ve been doing more quilt type projects. Such a great product! Thank you for such an opportunity!

  350. Suzanne Beyer - April 26, 2013

I made all four of my boys baby quilts when they were born and now that they are going off to college I am making them NFL quilts for their dorm rooms. This would make it so much easier!!!

  351. jeanette anderson - April 26, 2013

Wow..anyone who sews or is just learning to sew would love this table….i have been sewing a quilt for each of my sisters 25 grandchildren, i lost her to breast cancer, and i know she would do the same for me. This table would really help give me a larger work area. Thanks for sharing your sew steady product!

  352. Cindy Radtke - April 26, 2013

With my physical limitations, anything that helps in my piecing and quilting is a bonus. To have a flat surface to support my quilts for quilting would be such a help, I cannot begin to find the words to tell you how much assistance it would be. Thank you for this chance to win such a neat addition to my sewing area. And with us having to move into our motor home and the limited space I will have, this table would be perfect! And to be able to sew in circles, just the frosting on the cake to really sweeten the deal.

  353. Elizabeth Wolbeck - April 27, 2013

Grandma always said it takes only chance to win. As I’m looking to update to a new machine this would be a definite asset to making quilting challenges easier. Thanks SEW much.

  354. isabelle - April 27, 2013

I have wanted to own one of these as it is so important to be on a level plain when sewing and easy on the neck/back It would be awesome to win as these are a litle pricy for me.

  355. Terrie Grove - April 27, 2013

I am interested in winning the table extension. I am always having difficulty moving the fabric around and avoiding getting it hung up. My sewing space is an old desk that just doesn’t provide that space when the sewing machine must sit on top of it.

  356. Patrice Prosser - April 27, 2013

I think that the Sew Steady Table extension would be a wonderful product to own. I have a table that sew my quilts on but my machine sits on top and sometimes I have a little bit of dragging and the stitches are not as good as I would like. The table would be make quilting so much smoother.

  357. Karen O - April 27, 2013

  360. Andrea Elder - April 27, 2013

I have to set up my machine on my kitchen table and I have tried making a couple of quilts but found it difficult (and not very fun) and having this would make it so much easier. Unfortunately I don’t think I will try to make any more until I can get a table, I love to sew and this would make the whole experience much better and much less frustrating.

  361. Delores Seay - April 27, 2013

I am making the Cathedral Windows quilt and have a basic sewing machine. I have made one other quilt, the Grandmother’s Flower Garden I did completely by hand sewing. I find this quilt very challenging because I am making a king sized quilt and I’m using a basic machine. The machine quilting would be so much easier with these enhancements. I plan to make the Drunkards Path and the Bear Paw quilts. The Bear Paw quilt is my husband’s favorite, so I am making it for him. All will be king sized and this enhancement will make machine quilting more enjoyable.

  362. NORMA SNELL - April 27, 2013

I would love and I need a table for my machine. I sew a the Dining room table. And it makes it very hard to keep the material on the table. Small pieces are not bad, but when they get larger, they want to pull off the machine. And it just gets upsitting. Thank you for your time.

  369. Judy Reinhart - April 27, 2013

Wow, what a great table! The circle-sewing feature intrigues me, and I would love to explore using that in my quilting projects. The portability sure would allow easy transport to the lake, retreats, and meetings. Nice to see through to the drawer, which would give me great visible storage of those ‘can’t-live-without, but can’t always find easily’ sewing tools close at hand. Thanks so much, I appreciate your generosity with this offer.

  370. Betty Gebhardt - April 27, 2013

  373. Gail Anderson - April 27, 2013

I am constantly taking the machine in and out of the cabinet for classes, demos, travel. A portable table would take the “pain” out of the “strain” (shoulders) of sewing without a level surface.

  374. Deb Fischer - April 27, 2013

I just retired after 32 years and am really looking forward to enjoying many hours of sewing for our 13 (soon to be 14) grandchildren! This sew steady table will make it just that much more enjoyable! Thank you for the opportunity!

  375. Tommye Roades - April 27, 2013

I have been coming to Connecting Threads for a few years and I tell my friends where to go for better prices. I can not believe why any one would spend so much. It would be so helpful with my quilting.Good luck everyone.

  389. Ila Larsen - April 27, 2013

I would like a Sew Steady Table because I broke the small
table that came with my Bernina sewing machine and this would be great for quilting. I can set it on top of my typewriter table which I use for a sewing table. I love to make scrap quilts from bits and pieces of fabric.

  390. Ruth A. Schaffner - April 28, 2013

I would like a deluxe-sew-steady-table-and-bag because I’d like to attend a retreat and begin using the featherweight machine I recently purchased. I just learned that the Featherweight can be used for free-motion quilting and I realize that I need more surface if I am to do it successfully. Winning the steady-table would be a dream come true!

Your extended table would greatly help me to utilize my free motion quilting on all the quilt tops I have made with Connecting Threads fabric collections. The quality of your fabrics is wonderful and enhancing my quilting abilities would help finish these quilts more efficiently.

  399. Terri Clevenger - April 28, 2013

I have a small table for my Bernina and find my sewing is much more accurate as in sewing the challenging 1/4 inch seams. Several sewing class mates have made note of my handy table. I really need a larger size table for my Viking Designer Topaz 30 to help me manage free motion quilting. The thought of getting one thrills me. Thanks

  400. Susan Geist - April 28, 2013

My sister and I have just started getting into quilting the last year or so. She lives 5 hours away and this has given us something to get together and do. We call eachother about patterns and this has brought us closer after being apart for the last 20 years.
She is working on learning machine quilting. I would love to win this and give this table to her.

  401. Vickie Welch - April 28, 2013

perhaps a blue ribbon I would gain.
