The Win Your Wish List Contest is Back!

The team here at CT have been making our Christmas wish lists for a couple of months now. If you're anything like us, you've probably got more than a few items on your list for Santa this year. As quilters, we can always use more fabric, new thread colors, and handy books, but maybe this is the year we ask for some new and exciting tools, furniture and gadgets, too! The great thing about the Connecting Threads Wish List is that you don't have to keep all of your most desired items a secret. Our site's Wish List allows you to share those items with your friends and loved ones so easily! Worried about being too abrupt? Don't! Sharing your wish list with them will make Christmas shopping MUCH easier. They'll appreciate it, really!

A Book Review and Giveaway: Quilts Made with Love

This was a hard review for me to start writing because, in all honesty, I struggled to narrow down all that I want to say about this book and its author. Rachel Griffith, the author of the new Quilts Made with Love, is an amazing person to know, and an absolutely fabulous quilt designer. I've known and worked with Rachel for a couple of years now, and through the stress of maintaining a blog, keeping up with her four kiddos, and writing a book (!), she always remains positive, motivated, and utterly inspiring. Rachel has a knack for designing quilts that can be used for really every occasion. She understands that the sentimentality that goes along with the gift of a quilt speaks loudly in times of happiness or sadness. One of my favorite things about this book is that it is divided into two different themes: Quilts to Celebrate, and Quilts to Comfort. Because I love this book so much, I was eager to get it in the hands of as many people as possible. You know what that means, right? It's giveaway time!
