This is the Lasting Legacies Block of the Month, Block #5 for March. Again, we are making two colorways of this block from the Lasting Legacies civil war collection. If you are interested in participating in our Lasting Legacies Quilt Along, feel free to join us. Just click here! Download the pattern for $5.99 or pick up the kit (which includes a FREE pattern!) All are welcome and there is plenty of time to catch up as we are constructing only two blocks a month. You will have access to all the instruction located in the Discussion Forum to build the quilt, along with step-by-step images. This is a perfect project for beginners to!

The first block colorway uses 6423 Battenburg-Cream, 6417 Calico-Terra Cotta, 6422 Battenburg-Chocolate, and 6429 Cedar Chest-Black. These are the main fabrics for this block, however, there are smaller pieces used that are already cut out (at least most of them).

The second block colorway uses 6415 Calico-Pumpkin, 6407 Pressed Floral-Taupe, 6401 Honor-Green Tea, and 6426 Battenburg-Green Tea. Again, these are the main fabrics for this block, however, there are smaller pieces used that are already cut out (at least most of them).

We are approaching the end of the block building phase. There is only one more block to go after this one. I love this block because it is a block withing a block; a 9-Patch within a 9-Patch! Gotta love it!  You will so enjoy building Block #5! Come visit the Lasting Legacies BOM Quilt Along and join in the fun with some wonderful people!
