Can you believe it’s almost May already? April is flying by! Jenna designed April’s appliqued block which was released earlier this month and inspired by Mt. Hood. You can get the pattern here for just 99 cents. Sue whipped it up in no time at all.
Teri’s version is just as pretty with a warmer feel and country fabrics from our Abigail’s Garden and Midnight Garden collections.
While I love our staff and all of their creativity, it’s even more fun to see what the other members of the Year In Stitches quilt along are making with the pattern.
I think it’s cool how Jan from Iowa/Arkansas and Anne Grimm–WA both chose fresh shades of blue and green for their blocks, and yet each one still looks so unique and special.
Mich/TN has a couple more weeks to enjoy her awesome April block. We all love her embroidered rain drops.
I love the fabrics Connie/KS chose for her April block. She created a whole field of flowers and a sky full of clouds.
Sharon put some sparkly snow on her mountain top (I’m such a sucker for glitter!) and did a terrific job trying out free motion quilting, it looks fantastic.
Froggie just finished her pretty April block up and started right in on May’s block!
Speaking of May, it will be here before we know it! Keep sewing those May blocks, ladies (if you want to start one now and join A Year In Stitches, you can download the May block here for 99 cents). I’ll be posting my May favorites in just a couple short weeks!
